Okay, the one time I really, rilly, needed a Ron Howard-like Arrested Development style narrator was when Kody asked the question if all of his wives would be better off married to another man

The only interesting part of this show was Meri and Kody. Kody was just utterly brutal during that segment and so much stuff came to light. They haven't been out on a date since their 29th anniversary. He doesn't love her, doesn't have any romantic feelings for her. They don't have sex because that is for married people who are in love and romantic.  He thinks she is cruel. Kody is pretty much a brick wall with her and makes it his job to let her know in a myriad of ways that: "We are never, ever, ever getting back together" but wants to be courted?!?! 

One of the most telling moments was Kody fumbling and calling their anniversary Meri's anniversary before correcting himself and saying 'our anniversary.' Why even celebrate a marriage that ain't a marriage?

Meri needs to find some pride. That was painful to watch. 

Really, was anyone in any doubt that the miserable wife Kody is alluding to is Christine?

No surprise that Janelle doesn't make her bed and cooks barely edible meals - who can forget the grayish plates of slop from last week.  I've long held the belief that Janelle chose the plyg life mainly because she is lazy. Part time husband suits her since she doesn't have to put much, if any effort, into taking care of him and seeing to his needs on a full time basis. 1 to 2 nights a week is more than enough, maybe even too much. Other women provide child care and child rearing services and she can get out of the house to 'work'.  PLUS, Older kids raise the smaller ones and do chores.  She benefitted the most from one house living, which is why she is a big proponent of it. Meanwhile, basement wife Christine, got the worst end of the stick and refuses to ever live that way again.

You think a woman who divorced her first husband, and had her children adopted by another man, would understand that some relationships are no longer healthy, and have run their course.

And after doing all that, Robyn seems to pay Meri dust! Rarely calls and checks up on her during a pandemic! Meri herself stated she doesn't get calls from any of the wives or Kody. That's ice cold!

The hidden surprise for me is, I thought Jen was actually bullshitting or play acting when it came to her 'business' and not actually making any money or really had a business in name only, if at that. I just thought she had a bunch of friends and relatives acting as her assistants to appear busy, important and successful on screen. It was outed that the house featured on the show was a rental and many of the designer labels were called out as knockoffs. People were really only looking at Coach Shah's salary and thinking how could they afford all that. So it never occurred to me or some others that she was generating any income, or at least income substantial enough to make any lifestyle difference. 

Surprise, surprise! Her business is actually real. LOL! And she may actually go to real jail but not just any real jail - federal prison. 

I wonder if an opportunity exists to narc out higher ups and get a reduced sentence or immunity. She seems like the type to take it in a NY minute!

The story is that this happened during filming so she was in full face makeup. On the bright side, at least her mug shots will look good. LOL! Allegedly, they were on their way to a cast event/trip and Jen left after she got a phone and said her husband was ill/hospitalized. 5 mins after she left the feds showed up. Looks like she may have been tipped off. Sucks she would use such an excuse.

I haven't been keeping up with the family during the off season so I had no idea that Meri's mom had died. RIP Bonnie. 

 

[Married At First Sight (Australia) - General Discussion]

This show is feeling super duper overly produced. The sequence of 'will Lizzie walk in on Sam and Ines together in bed' was ridiculous and seemed too fake. Bronson commenting that Ines had a glow the morning after?!?! Come the hell on. They allll must be in on this. I still enjoyed the mess, but jeez.

Ines is essentially a mustache twirling villain. How such a sociopath got past even your most basic questionnaire is a head scratcher.

Sam at the end saying he traded one bullet for another made me ugly snort, but no Sam you traded a bullet for a grenade. It is what he deserves.

Sam playing the victim and acting all affronted that Lizzie didn't call is gross. Ines looking so smug is gross. I don't think I have ever disliked a pair of reality stars more.

The Greek girl is pretty with a 'goals' body but every time I see her, I am distracted by her nose job and think she must have had quite the honker!

I feel sorry for the other participants who get 0 play due to the Sam/Ines show.

[S08.E15: Love Me Or Leave Me]

Natalie having to go back to Mike's house again and again reminded me of a horror movie where the victim gets brought back to the serial killer's house after thinking she escaped.

If I could find a truck or bus long enough, I would've run over Mike's big ass for daring to ask for the ring back after all his fuckery! Nat is a nut, but he knew that and still had her come over via fiance visa.

I bet Tamara regrets answering her phone and agreeing to drive Nat to Seattle. 

If I had any doubts that Hazel was indeed bisexual, I sure as hell don't now. She was eying that stripper like a snack cake. Biting her lip and everything.  I had no idea Hazel could be so animated and lively. Tarik should be a bit concerned because she looks at him like he's a bowl of lumpy oatmeal. 

I hate to be that bitch, but after 3 marriages/weddings, I'm side eyeing the hell outta Rebecca for pulling a white Cinderella ballgown dress out of her suitcase and rolling down the aisle in a horse drawn carriage. 

When Zied said he was wearing a red jacket and blue shoes, I just thought he was celebrating his US visa by dressing in the colors of the American flag!

[S05.E21: Reunion Part 2]

Once again Michael and Ashley slither away practically unscathed after video evidence surfaces. I am absolutely disgusted but not surprised.

Andy is full of shit. Bravo not only condones violence it also condones sexual assault of its crew members. 

I think Mo's lack of remorse gave him pause but given the public reaction to the binder, I don't see Bravo not inviting that loon back in some capacity.

I think the bigger problem than Mo's lack of remorse is her reasoning for it - she isn't sorry because she was defending herself against an alleged aggressor. Every act she perceives as a provocation or an attack, whether it be someone talking with her hands or reading her in a way she doesn't like, is ample justification and reason for her to press start and commencing whaling on a HW's ass and call it self defense. The HW show are all about putting HW in high pressure conflicts and having them go at it, especially during events, cast trips and not to mention finales.  THAT IS THE JOB!  Fistnique would turn Sunday nights on Bravo into Wrestlemania and I guess the reunions could become brawls for it all or better yet steel cage death matches with that reasoning!

[S05.E21: Reunion Part 2]

The air came out of the binder balloon rather quickly. Thought there would be more. Maybe later?

I, once again, was extremely disappointed of the questions that weren't mentioned or asked like:

- Mo claimed to have blacked out but she was shown on camera that evening on the way home in the town car, reciting exactly what happened, where she had her hands, etc to the camera person.

- they should have mentioned that Mo was actually pacing and stalking outside that barn for like a half an hour or more - in the dark - looking to finish off Candy. Fucking nuts!

- no one mentioned Mo's song drag queens, which shows how proud she was of that shit!

- more mention should have been made of the year long social campaign led by Mo which is contributing to Candy being still so emotionally wrought over this. 

- If Mo knew that Giz was behind a plot about this shit, why was she not mad at Giz and acting so excited and happy to  befriend her early in the season. Why was her anger only at Candy?

Mo looked crazy at the end.

Wendy got her S2 glow up on. She looks amazing on WWHL. Better hair, makeup and wardrobe. Something is different about her face but I don't know what. She looks great!!

I'm mad that the Monique/Candiace stuff has overshadowed the antics of Uncle Bad Touch, Michael and the wife who makes excuses for him.  Tired of the Darby's getting away with shit and his behavior seen as something we should be ki ki kiing about, based in part because his victims are male, faceless and men of color. Here's hoping the world starts to loathe these 2 as much as I do.

Chris is also likely supporting a lot of family members, including Monique's. Ex-pro athletes are notorious for going broke after retirement.

Hate to admit to being so shallow, but I can't find Kern attractive mostly due to that nose.  But her explanation does explain why it looked even witchier as the years progressed. 

The quality of the Karen's wigs have improved but the colors are just a bit too brassy to me. If she could get a current excellent quality wig in the color she used to wear in earlier seasons like this:

She'd be at her optimal best as long as she stayed away from 'ENDI' LOL! 

 

[S05.E20: Reunion Part 1]

Oh me oh my! Thing is Gizelle has been in need of a good dragging for years.  You hear me YEEARRRSSS! I don't have any problem with the drag or the nature of the drag because that is just typical HW fodder. However, I do have a problem with the dragger! As a fan who has been waiting patiently and ceaselessly for Gizelle to be dealt a huge plate of what she serves everyone else, it was dissatisfying and a tad hollow coming from Monique. If it should have been anyone, it should have been Karen, but it appears she didn't want to get her hands that dirty so she let Mo Mayweather take the lead, while she set up the play. 

Gizelle played herself. I don't know what part of getting back with Jamal is a good idea under any circumstances - for storyline purposes or for real.

I can't amen the highlighted and underlined text more! If it had ever been about some supposed plot to take Mo and her family down, then why at the beginning of the season was Mo skinning and grinning and so happy to the basking in the light of acceptance of Gizelle?  She couldn't wait to be in Giz's good graces. Relished in being able to joke around and be cool with Giz and in turn the GEBs.  I think Giz actually touched her soul when she returned Mo's high 5.  Is this the way a person acts towards another she believed  was in on a plot to ruin them? But yet she has all this smoke for Candiace.  In that moment, Candiace didn't talk about children, husband, mama, papa, bros, sisters or any other intimiate aspect of Mo's life. Candiace merely threw Mo's words back in her face. I have suspected it was the sight of the GEBs being amused at Candi's antics in that moment that sent Mo over the edge. Kinda like that moment in Carrie, after the bucket of pig blood falls on her head and she hears the voice of her mother saying "they're all gonna laugh at you" play in rotation in her mind.

I didn't realize Croc wasn't making an appearance this reunion. Thank goodness for small favors!

I really don't want Mo back next season, but given the execs at Bravo are amoral I wouldn't be surprised if she was. She will smugly claim any invitation to return as an indication of victory and that her actions were in self defense and not an attack. I don't see how this would work. I don't even think that Giz would bother to engage. I think Mo's presence would just have a chilling effect on the show. Who wants to interact with someone who becomes unhinged at any perceived slight and has a rather loose interpretation of aggression, which in turns justifies her assaulting a person physically and/or via social media?

Funny thing, didn't Gigi mention that she had footage of Mo and he trainer dancing inappropriately?

[S05.E18: Shifty Wigs]

The level of "I don't fucks with him" Gizelle's daughters have for their own bio dad needs some explaining. I can understand them not wanting their parents back together again due to Jamal's past (and present) fuckery but they have such a level of disdain for their dad where it seems they don't even want to be around him in even the basic daughter and dad way.  Hell, I recall them being nicer and more welcoming to Gizelle's ex Sherman. 

Gizelle and the girls looked great for their x-mas card but I don't see the point of going to an x-mas shoot at a set location with hair & makeup artists just to sit awkwardly on a big black leather sofa with no prominent x-mas decor in sight. No tree? No fireplace? What's the point? Why not do this at her newly remodeled home instead?

I have to admit that I can have selective amnesia about HW I like. I had forgotten what a petty liar Karen could be about the dumbest most inconsequential things. The way she has been acting towards Candiace in regards to the fight debacle and her lies are making me not like her.

The interior of the home Juan and Robyn toured was gorgeous. Didn't care for the home's exterior though. Can they afford it?

I can't stand Michael. For the life of my I don't even understands why he continues to appear on this show. Isn't he a multi-millionaire business man/real estate developer? Every season, he is involved in fuckery and is torn apart by the cast and the audience. His reputation has only gone down since his 1st appearance.  Why does he still participate in filming? Why are we still having to look at this wizened Aussie gollum?

I will lose what little respect I have for Bravo if this isn't Monique's last season. I am embarrassed to admit that I used to like her. What a psycho! The fact that she has me siding with Gizelle over this makes me all the more angry. To this day she isn't sorry and she isn't remorseful. I want her off my screen until reunion time, where hopefully she will be promptly and thoroughly eviscerated and then fired. In all likelihood she never has to worry about being accepted into the upper echelons of society ever again.

I get annoyed when Karen says she used her money to bail out Ray. No doubt, it appears that Ray did wrong but for 20 years, pre-HWs, when she was a stay at home wife, I bet she viewed and went around saying Ray's money was her money and he paid all the bills, took care of her child from a previous relationship and spent all that money trying to keep up with the Joneses. Now that she is finally earning, it is her money. Come on now!  

Not a big fan of Gizelle but like that she does her mess out in the open.

Youtuber Funky Dineva once said that no one can spray you with your own tea. Meaning, once you admit to something it tends to diffuse the situation and no one can really have a 'gotcha moment' with that information because you put it out there - more or less.  So, as much as I don't like Ashley, this was smart of her to do but I think she still doesn't deserve the maturity and understanding of all the castmates she did wrong in seasons past. Yeah, I'm petty. 

However, I still don't believe part of their BS. By admitting to it they got to control the narrative and control it they did. What they left out is that Michael is bisexual, he has and did cheat, and he will continue to do so at his leisure. I knew that as soon as he translated Ashley's no more threesomes to the fun being over, he was not going to stop the behavior. After Ashley made the proclamation, I also notice that he was starting to say that "we both have to agree" before Ashley cut him off and put her foot down. That's when we got Michael's "BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO" lol! Ashley will probably turn a blind and allow Michael to cheat in peace until he makes a fool of her again and then we will see if she will keep the promise to leave his ass. Interesting that after Michael's humiliations, she seems to end up pregnant.  The ass grab heard round the world resulted in Dean and she is pregnant with #2 after this fiasco. Keep this up and she will be Potomac's answer to Michelle Duggar. She would be better off after baby #2 to only accept jewelry.
