Not a character. He is playing a real person that really treated people that way. I am sure what we saw was child's play compared to what it was really like back then. I think they softened it a bit for television. Joan was all about manners but she also "worked" people. I loved how the sincerity was switched on an off like a light switch - and of course the assistant was working the switch. I am glad they showed an example, even if it was brief.

And the seafood people used their daughter as a buffer hoping Marcus would not catch on. I felt so sorry for that girl. She was stuck.

They wanted old time/old school candy. Because the ice cream they were selling was crap. They were able to duplicate the old ice cream recipe and that's why people are willing to spend the extra money.

The factory is her father's business. Technically, she is a customer and pays them to make her clothing. That's why Anna was so vocal. Both of them worried that the brothers would screw them over and not fill orders on time. How many customers make regular visits to their manufacturer's facilities? How that place is run is none of her business. It's her dad's and he employs the two boys. If my dad told me I had to split my business three ways and give away 2/3 of it, I would have burned it down or took my business elsewhere. He is not the only rag man in New York. If he was just a creep that made advances, Grace would have been treated differently by the employees. No one had her back. That tells me she was not liked.

I think Abby was lying about the cancer. I also think just killing all of the Russian mob would be something Ray wanted to avoid. They kept cranking it up so he finally ended it. The FBI guy agreed to leave Ray alone ages ago so raiding his office was a last resort to force Ray to cooperate. As usual, Ray did it his way. The FBI still gets credit for ending the problem.

Why would the uncle need or want an entourage at the fight? He had Ray. He would not want anything obvious and both of them knew if Hector did not take a dive, Ray (and then Hector) were done. Why track Ray down? If the uncle trusted him on the bet, there was no reason for a crew. I can't believe Mickey actually did the right thing with the painting and the "surprise" package.

His left hand was wrapped. It looked like it was his hand that was putting a silencer on a gun because of the bracelets. It also showed him walking into the gym but I think he was limping a little. When I saw him all beaten and bloody, I was so upset that I shocked myself! I swear to God, Avi, Lena and the dog are off limits.

Avi looks just fine in the previews. I was way too relieved. I loved Lena saying she was not leaving.

I swear I saw two bodies on the shore during the previews. I don't think anyone moving that type of freight would have the GPS hooked up. Tony Soprano had his yanked out. As for the autopsy, drowning means they will find water in the lungs. If the lungs are free of water, the person was dead and then thrown in the water BUT how much water did she ingest while fighting and trying to gasp for air? It might be enough if an autopsy is done.

Maria busting in like that was a shock. So...does this mean she is not as catatonic as we are being led to believe? I always thought she was with Bunchy for his money. Seeing Avi just upset me more than I expected. I could not post anything last night. When Lena's part of the plan went smoothly, I just knew he was not going to be as lucky. Ray seems to be thinking both Lena and Avi have suddenly become fuck-wits. Hearing Avi reminding him about Lena and her dedication and ability was something he needed to hear. I hope she saves Avi, not Ray! Someone needs to get rid of Marisol. She is a drug addict so I am thinking maybe an accidental end to her useless life would be great. No, not a drop of sympathy for Mickey seeing his girlfriend dying. I wish she was smarter than to get mixed up with him in the first place. I am thinking she was with her boss because she had nothing else. He was just going to use her and toss her out eventually. He is too smart to trust her with anything but she was OK to bang. Nothing more. He was an idiot for not getting rid of her cell phone. She was in on the robbery and he had to know she was not trustworthy but he also figured Mickey would never come back to Primm. I think Lena was not worried about cameras. She was in Sonia's car and had on her clothing. Now, Sonia is gone so no problem. Lena left the body in the parking lot. Easy peasy. He's a crime statistic now.

I am already pissed at Abby for telling Ray to not beat the living shit out of Conner. If that was my kid, he would have never even touched the lock box much less broke it open. I am hoping Ray dangles him by his ankles out of his bedroom window. I know better but I can hope.

Not sure what is going to happen but Keach did two episodes. The next one could be a flashback considering his past with Ezra.

I was waiting for Marisol's stop to shop to go bad for Darryl. So glad it didn't but he is one naïve mo-fo.
