I watched it two times, which I normally do not do. Bobby tried to tell Jax that August had a gun. That made it really sad for me. I was prepared though, since I had a feeling. When August told Bobby he was the smart one, I knew is goose was cooked. Why would August allow the "smart one" to advise Jax? The sex on the patrol car was just silly. It added nothing and did not pave the way for a thing. From the previews, it looks like Unser is finally piecing this shit together. I think August will kill Gemma just because she is a dumb, old bitch that caused a ton of trouble and cost everyone money and lives.

I just re-watched this episode. They brought the daughter in to run interference, nothing more. She was part of the entire scam - no matter if she knew all of the gory details or not. When she said, "I don't have anything more to discuss" and faked crying and left, the acting was cringe-worthy. No wonder mom was "busy" and "late". She did not want to be there to be questioned any more than she already was. The daughter was a convenient replacement for mom. She knew just enough to get by but could not be accused of flat out lying like dad. Am I the only one that noticed dad's profuse sweating? He is one jittery mo-fo. I love it when Marcus gets mad in his special Marcus way and cusses. I see he ditched the Jag for a Chrysler since they are a sponsor. I know people ask why he did not do more checking before even contacting these people. He is an honest person and just expects the same in return. When he finds out that you lied, you are done. I am like that and I always say, 'Don't mistake my kindness for blindness'. When he walks out, his checkbook goes with him. By the way, why doesn't he have those checks in a checkbook? Hermès doesn't make one? He whips them out of his pants pocket like a rube.

The conspicuous consumption was evident all through this family. Mom's BMW, dad's boat and yes, even the daughter's Vuitton bag. If you are in deep financial shit, you liquidate. That purse should have been sold on Ebay or at the very least, kept out of sight ~~ no matter how she came to possess it. People watch this show and the bad taste that was displayed will prevent these viewers from becoming future customers. I cannot imagine the supplier that was willing to settle the account would have been happy knowing about the boat and the car, etc. I would have told the daughter a flat out no to her offer of a check. I would tell her I wanted the BMW instead, just to be an asshat. And ~~ Who the hell do they have for an insurance company? A bunch of check writing idiots?

I just don't see Juice giving up Gemma. I am thinking Gemma will be outed by a very young, pint sized club member. When Abel rats granny out, it will happen when granny is not around to smooth it over or slap her hand over his mouth. Gemma will than go all "Tara" on Juice, once again thinking the wrong person ratted her out. It is always all about Gemma. Juice will realize that the club was only using him and he will be a very sad lone wolf again and he won't care that Gemma kills him. If I acted half as crazy, paranoid and self-absorbed as Gemma...Jeezus.

leisawoo - I have to say, Gemma "hurting" Abel crossed my mind immediately when I saw him listening to her confession to Thomas. I thought, "Oh, you poor little kid. Your grandma is going to kill you but she will tell you that you will be with your mom, so it's all good". If she killed Tara, killed her birds and killed that stuffed animal, is killing her grandson really that far out there? Her survival is paramount.

Madding Crowd - In defense of the little psycho ~~ I was a pretty outspoken little kid. I was not even in kindergarten and I scolded my grandfather for yelling at my grandmother. I told him to "go back in the garage where you belong" and guess what? He did. Kids are not stupid. They can boil shit down pretty fast. I am now wondering how Gemma is going to explain it when Abel lets loose with another "gem". I was a little shocked at Nero's inclusion of Wendy in his future Farmer Pete plans. He will look like a total hottie in his cardigan while driving his low riding tractor. Mama. I am betting that Gemma killed her own birds and that stuffed animal. No one was home and she could have stopped at home after the trip back from the cabin, before going to the school to pick up Psycho Killer. She had time to think (possible) things through on the drive. The babysitter was gone with the baby, so the coast was clear. DakotaLavender - They are chopping Bobby up because Jax thought the deal was negotiable. They want the mother and son and are not willing to accept anything less. Bobbie should not have said 'Suck my big, white dick'. He should have said, 'Suck my little, white dick'. It would have played much, much better. leisawoo - Abel wanted to go to his room and they kept him out. I am sure that helped with his budding psychosis.

I just read an article that had a few (no spoiler) tidbits. Apparently, Abel is played by two little boys. Sutter said all he does is make the face he wants the kid(s) to copy and after the scene, he gives him a dollar! Kid needs to ask for a fiver. Nero's grandpa cardigans have their own Twitter. Unser spoke about "doing the right thing" in the diner. It just depends on what he thinks the right thing is.

Once again, it would have been great to have the camera pan across the booth to Tara with a fork in her head. (First time should have been when Gemma was talking to Tara while driving.)

I was so waiting for the camera to pan over to Tara in the front seat with the fork in her head. Wasn't Unser in the hospital at the bedside of the female cop? They will find out she is alive soon enough.
