And another thing. I know Kelly sucks and all, but it seems like the show was trying to imply that Brandon is really the one that broke up with her, condescendingly, and she was still pining for him. I know she has really fallen from her previous awesomeness over the course of this show, but no way in hell is Brandon Walsh higher up on the food chain than Kelly Taylor. They have tried to push that narrative for years, and I am not buying it.

They way the others talk about Brandon and Kelly is so detached and strange. Like with Donna and Kelly, and Kelly being all 'what if he was the one??????" as if he's just some guy. IRL Donna would have answered "Who, Brandon?" It's like they all forgot they all went to high school together.

This Valerie HIV thing is so much more serious than this! She had unprotected sex with someone HIV Positive, in 1998! There is no way she can get an accurate test result in one week's time. She would have to freak out for much longer, and get tested in a few months to see where to go from there. This is a big deal, they act like such idiots.

This disturbed me to no end. Seems like poor planning on the producers' part. It is the moment they truly turned their backs on their fans. It makes me wonder if they didn't want to spoil their "Kelly is Dylan's soulmate and he can't have any other normal relationships with any other women as long as she exists and vice versa even though they hate each other" theme they had going on.

I laughed in her face and spelled out for her that she was going to have to return to her parents' house in North Dakota, because everything she said was completely crazy. I mean, you're going to keep working your office manager job and pay for daycare and stay up all night with me as your irresponsible 22 year old roommate coming and going and doing whatever I please? Cuz I sure as hell was not going to alter my lifestyle. And still pay rent and half of our bills? So, she moved to North Dakota and I believe she is still there.

This show does not remember when Kelly had that life-changing experience working with Jimmy at the AIDS hospice, when she learned all about gay people then. And wasn't there some dust-up with Brandon and Steve and the president of their frat turning out to frequent gay coffee houses? I can really see how lazy the writers and producers had gotten, and I feel kind of sad about it because High School 90210 really was the shit. If you were a teenager in the 90s.

Yes, I suppose she wasn't in on the fact it was Rush's real baby it at the time. But that whole thing rolled out so awkwardly, Steve hardly got his head around the fact that he was adopted, then he went straight into finding out his birth mom was dead, then finding out Rush was his real dad all along and Rush knew it and didn't say anything, so he's like adopted and not adopted but the real story is that his family is a bunch of drama queen jerks. Too complicated to offer any practical advice to Kelly and that baby she wants.

I don't mean to interrupt your excellent rant about everything that is wrong with this, but Steve doesn't truly qualify as an adoptee, as Rush is his bio dad and the whole thing was a lie.

Plus, wouldn't the press be interested, since he and his family are such hot shit?

According to this show, Val will always have to answer for her mistakes. During the same time period of Valerie's sins against the group, Steve was an amateur thief, unabashedly cheated his way through school, lit Kelly on fire, dabbled in drugs, cheated on girlfriends, womanized in general, has often been a shitty friend and is an excellent liar. None of that is ever brought up in anything other than an "Oh, Steve, boys will be boys context. As for Brandon- he just finished cheating on Kelly, drove drunk once in high school, is generally unpleasant and is often judgemental of his friends. But he's an upstanding citizen who deserves another chance.

Is it normal for dentists to stock Vicodin? Don't you need to go to a pharmacy for that? Maybe things were different in the 90s.

If only. He manages to insert himself via video when David and Donna get married, even though he never talks to them after he leaves Bev Hills for good. I could not have handled Carly and Steve for two years. That was a good decision to give up on the storyline and actress. But I think it is odd that the producers were able to make a good, tough decision about that, but not the many other things that suck on this show. Has it really been 17 episodes?

Is Kelly really going to go so far as to slap Emma in the face based on the fact that she thinks Steve cheated on Carly with her? That seems like an overreaction to something that is not her business. I mean, has she even slapped Valerie in the face ever, for the many things they have squabbled over? How about start with slapping Steve and see how that goes, and then go over to the lady you have known for two weeks and slap her. It is only dumb luck that Kelly was wrong all along and Emma fucked Brandon. Which is still not a reason to slap Emma instead of Brandon. I wish Emma would have pressed charges, because that is known as assault!

Oh the melodrama. "I'm going to the store" "I'm not hungry I've lost my appetite cheater!" That cassette tape is hilarious too. And she's not done with this type of thing. Doesn't she hook up with Dylan at some point next season while still with Matt or while he's with Gina? Yes both things are true. But then we find out that Matt is married to an incurable schizophrenic that can only live in the world if she procures mysterious drugs from Mexico or something. Gina is not amused and still thinks Kelly is a slut, thanks Gina.

The last few times the POP channel ran the series, they stopped after college and returned to the glory years. And now they don't even run it at all.
