  1. I feel bad about Frank Guidice. As far as the sentencing delay - I don't get it either. The feds have had plenty of time to prepare for this. Yes, it gives the Guidices more "free" time, but it's a sword hanging over their heads. The kids are who I feel bad for. What Teresa and Joe did is on them alone, they plead guilty, and they deserve whatever punishment is deemed fitting. I know the wheels of justice tend to grind slowly, but this is ridiculous, especially when coupled with the continual delays regarding Joe's other charges. My thoughts all along have been that Joe will most likely serve time. Teresa may or may not. If she does, I think it will be consecutive sentences (like the Jesse Jackson Jrs) so that one parent will remain with the children. But at this rate, I am starting to wonder if they will ever be sentenced.
  2. I'm not surprised either. I couldn't stand Kim on RHOA, but much to my surprise, I thoroughly enjoy DBT. It's light, and funny for the most part. Kim knows she is over the top and plays it up - and Kroy is the perfect match for that. My dream episodes: Kim and Kroy pack up the kids and head for Montana for a week on the farm with Kroy's family. Anyone remember Green Acres?
  3. Finally caught up with this last night. As much as Heather grates on my last nerve, I thought her apology to Tamara for the conversation with Eddie was sincere. Tamara has some serious issues - between her obsession with not aging (good luck stopping THAT clock) and her inability to maintain a friendship without turning on the friend - there is something wrong there. I never put too much stock in her "poor me, i had a terrible childhood" story, but maybe there is some truth to that. She definitely has some insecurities.
  4. This is the only piece of this that makes me think that Chloe might have been able to avert Heller's death at the last minute. Doing so would surely result in a Presidential pardon.
  5. This! 1000 times! I did not watch the two episodes this season that featured George because he is disgusting. Only to turn in last week, and find that even though he wasn't on, the majority of the episode was spent discussing his supposed sexual antics. Just as disgusting. The more I don't watch, the further away I get - I forgot it was even on last night. I want to go back to where we used to see these ladies doing charity work (remember Lou Ann playing basketball with those high school girls?), or going to fashion week, just living their lives. When you compare what they have now to the first two seasons, it has really gone down hill. Yet, somehow, Bravo has it in their heads that this current junk is what people want to see. The only thing that will wake them up is a dwindling audience. And it looks like it's getting there. Honestly, how in the world Bravo would think that anyone would find George entertaining is beyond me. And if that is all Aviva can bring to the table, she needs to be let go. This! 1000 times! 6. First time poster. Alot of discussion on twitter about the not-so-silent clock. Interesting wiki here: http://24.wikia.com/wiki/Silent_clock. Terror mom sends chills down my spine, but I think the son may take control of the drones - he seems to want to blow something up. Overall, I thought the episode was good - brilliantly acted by Sutherland, Devane, Raver (who I am not a fan of), whoever plays her husband, and Terror Mom. I don't think I breathed during the last 2 minutes. Wondering about two things - I think I looked away for a minute - was that an SS agent on the roof near the helicopter? And he just let them leave? I thought I might have missed something there. Second - the guy that Navarro is working with - can't remember his name, he also works with Chloe. I remember him saying he was just a "middle man". Any thoughts on who the mastermind is? Just found this article, dated today, in which Manny Coto discusses last night's episode. I'll say that it contains spoilers because it does discuss what everyone is wondering about: http://www.tvguide.com/News/24-Live-Another-Day-Postmortem-Evan-Katz-Manny-Coto-1083104.aspx
