That's not exactly how that played out. Beth did, in fact, ask Randall to step down from the race for City Councilman because she and his campaign manager deemed the race unwinnable. She hasn't always been the unending, uncomplaining, long-suffering wife she's being portrayed as in many of the comments here. Also, Randall didn't "let" Beth do anything. She's an adult. #TeamRandallAllTheWay

Has it ever been proven that the Duggar family eschews prenatal care? Michelle and Anna were both filmed getting prenatal care. It's entirely possible the others have had it, but haven't filmed it.

My youngest is in college on a combination of one band and one academic scholarship (for which I'm extremely grateful). It's totally doable to get through college debt free.

I was just going to ask this same question because I've seen many posts and comments (here and in other places online) where others say Anna has been saddled with the blame, but I've never seen anything from a Duggar family member making that same allegation.

I completely agree with the bolded. Also, like many others on this board, I'm not a fan of baby showers. I only had one with my youngest and it was a surprise shower. If I had been in on it, it never would've happened. I do appreciate everyone thinking of me and the new baby, though. But...is it just me, or does a baby shower for the last baby (when there isn't a huge gap between babies) seem...odd...? At any rate, baby showers are different for this generation, for sure!

I'm not close to them at all. I'm just a longtime admirer of their family. Of course, that doesn't mean I agree with everything they say or do, because I certainly don't, but I do admire them in a lot of ways for a variety of things.

I think Gabby Giffords is incredibly brave and courageous. She seems to be handling her changed life circumstance with a grace that I find very, very admirable. If I were her, I'd be anti-person-who-shot-me.

This is a pretty poorly written article, but I'm happy for them. LOVE the pic because they look genuinely happy! Good for them!!
