  1. As an Alabama fan, I am tired of playing Clemson. However, at the same time, I’m looking forward to seeing both quarterbacks play against each other. However, I’m not sure if anything can beat the UA/UGA this year. That was excellent. The tale of Tua and Jalen is amazing, IMO.
  2. Love me some Saban. I honestly thought he was going to kill #74 during halftime. He was pissed. Needless penalties by Alabama in that game. The Clemson-Notre Dame game was straight up embarrassing. UGA has every right to be upset that they weren’t in the top 4. EVERYONE predicted that would happen. Everyone.
  3. I thought that was Hampton Court! I've been there, so it's nice to be proven right.
  4. Not me, Joey is my favorite character.
  5. Dawson and Joey's relationship was the epitome of telling and not showing. With Joey and Pacey, I can actually think of scenes that show how they feel about each other.
  6. I'm 99% sure it is. This one is televised on January 13.
  7. No, but it's obvious that Colman, Weisz, and Stone are the three leading ladies. No one else has significant enough a part to warrant a nomination, although, I enjoyed Nicholas Noult.
  8. Who the star of the show is has nothing to do with anyone's opinion about any character. The name of the show is Grey's Anatomy. Ellen's character is Meredith Grey. To say she isn't the star or lead of the show is inaccurate. Also, my point wasn't about disliking a character because of a gender nor is that what the OP said. I thought I made my point very clear, but I'll explain it again. To say that "Patrick Dempsey made her (Ellen) a star" (direct quote) flat out removes any and all agency from Ellen Pompeo. That is saying she didn't do anything to contribute to her success. That is not accurate. That is not fair. It's insulting to give credit to man for a woman's achievement, and I stand by that belief.
  9. That was the dumbest play of the game. I went to an Alabama bar to watch the game. I cannot even begin to describe the atmosphere. Deafening. Saban choked up talking about Jalen after the game.
  10. Randall is the one who is in the wrong here, not Beth. Family comes first. His family needs him, and he cares more about traveling to Philly to be a city councilman than his own family. His needing to save everyone is going to leave his family without someone to save them. That isn’t right. Also, I would’ve dared Randall to tell my ass to sleep on the couch. That wouldn’t have ended well for him at all. If he cared about just helping people, he could do that closer to home. Also, Jae-won said that they could handle it if they were behind. However, he was too far behind. You have to be realistic, which is something that Randall clearly has a problem with. It will eventually bite him in the ass.
  11. I don’t think they made it that at all. If anything, they showed how all parents should react. Tess being that worried showed there’s still animosity about being gay, and that unfortunately is a reality. If more people were like Randall and Beth, she wouldn’t have been worried.
  12. At least you had a SEX reveal and not a GENDER reveal. That makes sense. I find it very hard for people to be revealing something that they don't know such as gender. Doesn't make sense.
  13. The rankings are in from the CFP. Of course, the pundits are already questioning whether Alabama should be in the top 4 if they lose to Georgia and OSU and Oklahoma win their games this weekend. I mean, it's not as if they won the championship last year without going to the SEC Championship and losing to a number 6 ranked team in the regular season. Oh, wait. They did. It's as if people will do anything to question the validity of Alabama being in the top 4. It's old at this point. Rankings
  14. Also, it was annoying as fuck. WE. GET. IT. To add onto the Kate discussion, I cannot believe that she thought she would be qualified to teach without a four year degree. WTF? It strains credibility that she would be that stupid. Even if she didn't want to tell Madison, the minute the principal contacted her, she should've told him the truth.
  15. Hahahaha. As my mother told, and as I experienced a few months ago, looking for a full-time job is a full-time job that has no pay and no benefits. Anyone who has a four-year degree and is looking to make more than $15/hr has spent a significant amount of time looking for work. Looking for a full time job is something that should NOT be dismissed. Thank you. I still have fond memories of my middle school music teachers. I know how important they are, and they are the reason I went into musical theatre and pursued a degree on acting. The fact that you have to defend why it's necessary to have a four year degree for what you do shows how little appreciation K-12 teachers are given and why so many are underpaid.
  16. By calling for more diversity? I'm a little confused and trying to understand. Ah, yes. A man must always receive credit when a woman achieves something. I mean, where would us po' women folk be without the men to help us?
  17. Because there are people in life who've been sexually abused, or gay, or have an adopted grandchild. This is us. Overall, I quite enjoyed this episode. My heart melted with Kevin being Pilgrim Rick via Teddy Bear and iPad. Adorable. Miguel's children are terrible. It's funny how so many people have been wanting to see Miguel's kid, and when we see them, we understand why we don't see them. lol. They are too old to be acting like that. Plus, the son doesn't make any sense! Rebecca didn't steal Miguel from Shelly. WTF? Miguel calling out his asshole children was excellent. I'm finally Team Miguel. It warmed my heart when Annie ran to him screaming, "Grandpa!" The look on his face was perfect; he gets from the Pearsons what his own biological family cannot give him. The Pearsons have never treated Miguel as poorly as his own family has. I am still enjoying the Vietnam scenes. It was sad to see how Nicky treated that child, but at least I understood where he was coming from. I just thought he was being an asshole for no reason. Even though the necklace Jack received may be "common," what's important is the story behind it. It's important to Kevin because Jack gave it to him. It's important to Jack because the Vietnamese lady gave it to him. Common things can still mean something. My mom gave me a claddagh ring, and it's special to me. Just because there are thousands in the world doesn't make mine mean any less to me. I hate the political storyline. I really do. Randall, Beth, and the audience deserve better. That being said, Jae-won should quit. He's clearly not being respected. Randall's only defense of Beth's ideas is "She's my wife." Uh, okay? How Teen Randall answered the college question is just so perfectly Randall. That's the (adult) Randall that I miss. Loved Tess coming out. I always find it interesting when parents assume that their child will be straight. Erm...that's not a guarantee, actually.
  18. Thank you! As someone whose family lived in AL though the super outbreak in 2011, I was completely distracted by the injuries. Like, no. NO. Even straight line winds don’t do that. It definitely took me out of the episode because I know what can cause that kind of trauma, and that doesn’t happen in Seattle.
