I completely disagree.... when someone speaks misinformation..... it must be called out.... when lies are being told.... it must be called out..... when bigoted comments are made they must be spoken against...... DL Hughly is complaining about the criticism that he gets for sharing his views. Where it is true he is allowed to share his views... if people dont like them they have the same Right to let him know I get so tired of people whining because they are being criticized.... the way to fight against someone's views is to use your own freedom of speech. We dont all have to agree.... if you dont feel like defending your view... dont share it

Thanks to 3pwood and SFoster21 for the responses . The Plead.. Pled... and Pleaded would annoy me when I saw news reports and they would say a defendant pleaded out..... it just didnt sound right to me. I like the explanation between hung and hanged... it makes sense to me.

When I was called for jury duty we all sat in the gallery and they called names to go sit in the jury box..... then when people were dismissed others took their place..... we were all in the same room with the defendant. I got called for jury duty 2 more times..... the first I wasnt called to go to the courthouse..... and the 2nd the trial was canceled.... I think he plead out Which brings me to another point.... which is correct... Plead or Pleaded?? And which is correct... Hanged or Hung

the litigants are present during the jury selection.... one of the questions they ask is if you know the people involved.

That is a good thought CattyTiger.... but that isnt always how it works. I just posted a video on facebook where a guy was flagging down a cop.... they thought he had a gun so shot him in the head.... no charges filed of course. It is easy to sit behind a keyboard and judge the victim.... but we should really condemn the "mistakes" that cops commit.... especially the ones who lie and have to change their story when the video comes out. Im still waiting for a good cop to stop and arrest a bad cop

There is no justification for a cop to react the way he did..... he walked up to the car door with an attitude and he escalated the stress and became out of control. I have no idea why people are so quick to defend a cop who is not acting professionally.... why do so many people want these out of control cops to continue to keep their jobs.... these cops dont keep people safe. Protect and Serve is their motto.... who was being protected and served in this case..... it is not against the law to be rude... it is not against the law to say no to a request.

I went and found the entire interview with Cara..... and the clips that were shown were edited to make her look bad. Like when she said no I didnt read the book... or the script.. No Whoopi... Elisabeth is not a racist because she asked a question..... what she actually is is an ignorant apologist who will look for any reason to defend a cop doing the wrong thing..... They kept saying Elisabeth just asked a question.... well lets look at that question.... Was the cop right in escalating the situation because the irate woman could have used her lit cigarette as a weapon?? The bottom line is the cop ASKED her to put out her cigarette and she politely said no... and he felt the need to taser her because of his demand for power. Now you know Whopi... and you should understand... you are the queen apologist..... and you know this because the people who hold you accountable threatened you enough where you dropped to your knees and changed your tune Yes Im annoyed
