That's what hurts me the most, that we never got to see the full potential of this loving relationship in seasons 5-7 before they were broken up in season 8. Had MilMar not been complete prudes and actually showed us how two deeply in love people act, a break from that right now wouldn't be so bad. But as it is, we've been jerked around the entire time with very little payoff.

The showrunners obviously don't have faith in Tamala as the friend anymore. I don't think she's the greatest actress either, but if they wanted to give her more to do they would have already.

I have a feeling Nathan's tweet is mostly about the hateful tweets his girlfriend seems to be getting.

Hmm, interesting. I wonder then if SK just wanted to distance herself from Baldwin as much as possible. I read awhile ago, but don't remember where, that he's said some rude things about her (to her face or not I don't know).

So, I'm sure a lone Beckett scene could have been wedged in, even if she was solo in the scene or on the phone. Does SK have to be paid her whole per episode salary no matter how much she's in an episode and they just figured they'd save the money?

One plus is that Hanning wrote the anniversary episode, and he's probably our best option at this point for a milestone episode. As long as he isn't completely constricted by AH/TPW.

I don't remember if the preview was just for next week or an overall "upcoming" sort of thing. I also don't know when Nashville's fall finale is.

Nashville's preview for the next episode just teased Hayden/Juliet about to jump off a building. And we know she's off the show for awhile, so it's gotta be her.

Great point, Oberon. What shows could the BI be then? Maybe Nashville (Hayden is known to be taking time off for post pardum depression, but does that show have co-leads?). Or Scandal. Or TVD.

Oh TV Line, keep doing you. Antagonistic you. I doubt it's Castle, because would they really do two Castle blind items in a row? And if it is Castle, it can't be permanent. Probably Beckett faking her death to keep the world safe, as is her job. Or Castle could be thought to be dead, leaving Beckett to feel she's at fault. Either way, I don't think anyone on Castle is dying for long (if at all).

I read something on Twitter about how this horrible, not close to "fun" storyline could be redeemed. This won't happen, but I agree it could work. Rick is in on everything Beckett is doing, we just don't know it yet (like Ryan and Espo in Reckoning with 3xk). There would be plot holes like always, but at least Beckett wouldn't be the raging bitch they've made her appear to be all season.

Me too. I'm done with the show. Maybe I'll binge watch in May, but they've torn this show I once loved to shreds.
