Didn't the EPs say at the end of S2 that once she was in the know about Oliver she was going to look at everyone and everything differently? Maybe she is trying to figure out why these people are doing what they are doing by investigating their pasts? She may feel like she knows why Oliver is doing what he is doing but why are they? Can they be trusted? My guess is she stumbles upon the skeleton(s) in Roy's closet that cause problems with or for Oliver. Now I am curious as to what here "great scene" (per MG) with Felicity in 3.03 is. I was hoping another van was involved but I guess not. Does it have any bearing on Felicity's decision to go to Central City? Based on Ban1o's comment maybe she is trying to blackmail her way onto Team Arrow. She doesn't like to be left out.

As for keeping the girls away...in Amell's Q&A on Tuesday he mentioned his trailer and how much time he spends in it and why. One of the things he mentioned was sometimes it's 8 hours because things break. So perhaps something broke this week. They may have had to shuffle the shooting schedule to make sure Amell got to SDCC (and they decided to move one or more of the women on purpose) or it might simply have been that they were scheduled to shoot last on the schedule so Thursday got moved to Friday. EBR might have been shooting with Brandon Routh. Felicity still has to work for a living. She is probably going to have a lot of her scenes with him.

In one of the SDCC interviews, one of the EPs (I think) said the first couple of episodes would be rough on Team Arrow.

AK said there will be some exposition at the beginning of Arrow 3.08 so those who don't want to watch Flash 1.08 will still know what is going on.

I would think Ra's. He may be meddling in the meantime (sending other villains) but I think it will be the 2nd half before he actually puts in an appearance in Starling. I think they have to set up the Malcolm/Thea storyline first. Thea/Roy and Thea/Oliver have to reconnect too. I am thinking they are going with the enemy of my enemy is my friend scenario. He might first show up in Sarah's backstory, whatever ep that may be. Thea will have flashbacks to getting in the limo in 3.03 and Felicity's backstory is in 3.05 so I am thinking Sarah's backstory with LOA might be a little later. They did say over the weekend she was doing at least 4 episodes.

I don't know when the actual decision was made to go full on Olicity which might explain why things weren't spelled out clearly. If O/S or Arrow/Canary had been better received the finale could have still happened but it would have been an actual fake-out with Felicity being in on it from the beginning. That said, there is a Roy/Oliver scene (don't remember the exact episode) where Oliver tells Roy that in order to keep Thea safe Roy must stay away from Thea which leads to their break-up. Oliver says I know you will do this because you love her. I remember wondering if that is why the potential Oliver/Felicity relationship came to a screeching halt at the end of 2.10. Diggle's words made Oliver realize he had more than platonic feelings and figured he needed to keep his distance.

SA pitched the idea. The EPs forgot and then pitched the same idea back to him a little later. No exact information but baby mama is in Central City so it will be a crossover episode.

SA said in an interview I watched today (DigitalSpy maybe?) that there will be a less publicized crossover than Felicity's (Ep 4-B/F resolution & Arrow lessons) and the 2 hour ones in 8 on both shows. It is the one he pitched and we'll know it when we see it. He pitched the one about Oliver's child. I wonder if episode 8 relates to Ray Palmer/The Atom in some way. What I read briefly was that The Team heads to Central City in Flash only to later realize whatever(Atom sighting thought to be caused by the particle accelerator explosion?) originated in Starling City. Based on the billboard in one of the Flash promos Palmer Industries seems to be headquartered in Central City. RP is trying to acquire QC for its Applied Sciences division. I think Oliver will go back to thinking he can only be either Oliver or Arrow. Diggle will show him he canhave both to some degree over the course of the season. Felicity on the other hand is going to want to have it all. If she can't perhaps she thinks she needs to get out of the Team Arrow business. She's not about just accepting things. This will also cause Oliver to make choices (perhaps regarding QC) that maybe he didn't want to before because he doesn't want to lose Felicity.

In the comments section under this video there is a link to an interview with David Ramsey about a possible Suicide Squad spin-off. DR also mentions that Lyla is head of A.R.G.U.S. but might not be at the end of the season. Wonder what happened to Waller? Is she going to be one of the villains in the early going?

Although I am not looking for Felicity and Laurel to be friends "cause complications with Oliver" just makes me want to go ugh! Maybe this is why Felicity goes to see Barry and then is open to a relationship with Ray? Laurel is getting a love interest so how many triangles are they planning on throwing at us?! Stop, right now! (I hate triangles.)

Since there is a call back scene in 3.03 to Season 2's coffee scene, I hope Laurel tells Felicity to get her some coffee and Felicity sets her straight. That would be a "great" Felicity and Laurel scene for me! I wonder if Lyla has the baby in 3.03 since it's very Diggle-oriented.

Is it just me or do we seem to be getting more Laurel mentions the closer we get to SDCC?

I am not surprised Felicity's backstory is told in flashbacks. I kept reading about people speculating on a road trip to Vegas which I just couldn't see happening. Her season long arc is supposed to be similar to Oliver's. Can she have what she wants? I have since wondered what specifically she is looking for and why? I hope it's about more than just growing up without a dad (part of Oliver's story). However it pans out, I'm just happy they are giving her something outside Team Arrow (even if it comes back to Oliver). Speaking of Felicity, is it possible she's not involved with her boss? I just read an interview on Comic Book Resources with AK which refers to Ray Palmer as a potential bidder for Queen Consolidated. Is QC perhaps in control of the courts-bankruptcy, receivership, etc? That would make more sense if Oliver is fighting to get QC back. It would also eliminate the sleeping with the boss scenario.

Figures Felicity's story will be in flashbacks. I wonder if it takes place before or after she visits Central City? According to Grant Gustin in a TVF interview Barry realizes he is also unavailable for a romance with Felicity. "Unlike Oliver, he realizes he is in love with someone else."

Why is everyone assuming Felicity's backstory is about introducing her dad? Is it because in 2x13 she said she didn't know who or what he was? I guess I am half expecting it to be just about life with mom (no dad) and why she's not willing to just accept things as per her speech in 2x21. Lack of dad contrasts with Diggle as new dad and Oliver as potential dad. You know, should he get involved with child's life? Does he want to?

I absolutely have no idea how they could give Oliver a love interest in the current storyline if he can't be with anyone as long as the city needs the Arrow. Baby mama is even less suitable than Felicity. The only option I could see would be if Katana shows up present day sans husband. I won't be rooting for Oliver & Felicity if that happens.

I guess Diggle is reflecting the part of the audience that always thought it was one sided?! LOL! Roy probably didn't notice. He was in a coma most of the last few episodes.

As Oliver's EA, she was also free to come and go all hours of the day and night with him as needed. If she is working in IT and he needs something Arrow related at 2:00pm outside the office he can't very well just say let's go. She has at least the head of the department to answer to. Hanging around at 9:00pm at an investors' party also raises eyebrows if she is just IT personnel. No one thought twice about Diggle because he was the driver/bodyguard. His EA was about the only thing she could be without someone questioning why she was with him all the time. Also as his EA, no one would be suspicious of her conversing with the driver/bodyguard frequently. I don't know what other position would make her available all the time without raising questions. (Example: Russia).

Hmmmm....are they working on the script for 3 or 4? She is doing a cross over for a 4th episode that we aren't supposed to talk about here.

This is what I have been thinking too. If there is a 3rd one featured I would expect it to be Roy (Arsenal). If we get a Felicity backstory, it better not involve a pre-island!Oliver and a one night stand with a certain cocktail waitress in Vegas! (No, I am not suggesting O is F's father.)

Rose colored glasses...They are setting Felicity up to be Arrowverse's Oracle sans the wheelchair. That is why she has to have at least working relationships with Oliver, Barry, Ray, Sara and that other character.
