Didn't MG say they had written but not yet filmed (individual) scenes where Curtis, Diggle & Oliver were trying to reach her? Depending on the interview timing I thought that might be 5.18 - 5.20. Since WM said she was still mourning Billy in 5.20 I figured she was still using Pandora at that point.

We were not shown that Oliver was told about the line Felicity crossed.

If they would write more episodes like 5.12, where everybody got something (except Thea), they might do a better job of retaining their general audience. I wonder if they thought Supergirl moving to the CW would bring in a bunch of new eyeballs so DC/WB wanted to showcase as many new comics characters as possible.

Ha! I just rewatched 5.12. I remember thinking last night that they should have hugged. They've been through a lot together. Rory said he'd be back. I don't know if he will or he won't. I did wonder if he comes back if he might be a love interest for her, especially if GA/BC happens. It might have been the actors and not the script but I thought they both looked like they wanted to kiss for a moment. LOL!

I guess she has to prove herself worthy of St Laurel's name first?

Do we know if Prometheus knows Oliver is Green Arrow before Tobias Church tells him? The only people associated with Oliver on the target board was Lance, Diggle & Thea until Evelyn came along. It's possible that he still needs intel. Why would she need to investigate anything in Russia if she's associated with Talia? If she's really just trying to get a story what's the point if she doesn't do an expose because feelings.

I think the lie is that Prometheus is not revealed in the next couple of episodes which means he is revealed. In that context the IMDb cast listing for 5.16 "Checkmate" is more interesting. Here's a twist on the reporter. She is working for Prometheus but falls for Oliver so she gives Oliver information on Prometheus. Revealing him in 5.16 could simply mean they know who the enemy is or he's just a pawn in Talia or Malcolm's plan.

Helix is probably worse than Prometheus. Prometheus has one target - Oliver Queen - although there has been collateral damage. Helix is probably more like The List bad but on a global scale. Originally Malcolm Merlyn, Robert Queen & Cohorts were pressuring/blackmailing people into helping out the city. There was an element they wanted out. Robert Queen got involved when he accidentally killed an inspector. Malcolm helped cover it up and used that knowledge against him and then Moira to force them to do his bidding. Eventually it just turned into a power/land grab by Malcolm. There was a ton of collateral damage.

I've seen them all and I don't recall any such scene. There have been plenty of people warning him though - Thea & Lance multiple times and Felicity at least once. He just kind of shrugs them off so I won't be surprised if the show says "See. He was right to trust her."

Makes sense or Susan bribed the ME for a look at his report.

Shades of Isabel in 2.06. He was just supposed to keep her occupied and out of Diggle's way.

I guess we don't know yet though if they come after Green Arrow because of Susan's write-up or because of Prometheus's manipulations. He has a police connection unless they have dropped that thread.

The only way he comes out of this not looking like a moron in my eyes is if he is playing her. Even if she doesn't betray him because "genuine feelings" I will continue to see him as a moron. I felt the same way about Felicity dating a cop.

I liked it too. Oliver in Russia was fine. It's the sleeping with the reporter when she's investigating Billy's death dumbness I have a problem with. I don't have a problem with Dinah other than the use of the scream which I hate. I just thought she came across as more alpha than Oliver and I'm not sure how I feel about it. I'm used to Oliver being THE alpha on this show.

Yeah. It seems like she was try to control and was Curtis trying to record it. Please don't create any weapons that use that repeatedly.

I didn't think so. Right now she's just muscle. The team filled her in on Prometheus, etc off camera. Oliver didn't. Dinah strikes me as more alpha than Oliver. I'm not sure we've even been shown the beginnings of a great work partnership. It's just slightly off to me somehow but I'm not sure what. (I don't dislike Dinah, just the scream.)

He probably thinks his little talk about needing them in the light worked. It did on John. Actually, he was concerned about her but he doesn't know what she's up to. Rory only got as far as saying Felicity crossed a line when a scream was heard in the distance and Oliver was off. No other questions were asked. Felicity considers Dinah an unknown quantity which is why when she went to the Russian Tea Room she had Curtis and Rory play Bratva. Since Rory's not around who's going to be worried about Felicity? I actually thought this was a good episode. I hate the ease/frequency with which the sonic scream is deployed though. I'd feel better about the reporter story if WM wasn't saying they have genuine feelings. Lance and Rene were pretty good scenes. Rene told Lance the story about being a kid when Lance wondered why SW went easy on him. SW never even had a scene with Rene or Lance.

Where does it go from there?

I was hoping when Rory survived he wasn't going but his rags are useless now. She and the detective have put 2 and 2 together and basically coming to the conclusion that Oliver is the Green Arrow,

Oliver & Rayporter just went all in She's questioning tatoo he's shutting her down. She looks worried.

Rory's alive! He survived the nuclear blast. He absorbed it .(Oliver did get there in time to shield/hold Felicity. LOL! What happens in Russia was nothing special. LOL!

It wasn't so much a pep talk as a get over yourself talk. LOL. DR said he was calling out Felicity. Unless that's happening later it's Rory who called out Felicity and then tattled to Oliver. :-)

Right now they're calling Tinah Backstop. John Diggle is Anatoly's favorite American now. LOL.
