Not to defend Ellen, but the gossip media were hounding her for a reaction to all this. Her statement is pretty generic—exactly what I would write about an ex who I broke up 20 plus years ago in a bad way and whom I didn’t have contact with. Shes not professing fake love or reflecting on memories. Just extending sympathy for those who were still in Anne’s world.

Wow. I didn’t know about her deleted post. I agree, they all need to get off social media. I feel for those boys when they go back to school. Having your parents argue on social media and one of them posting an video of an old argument with your mom is beyond embarrassing. I can’t imagine the kids being ok with that, despite what Kevin says. Yes, all involved need to go to family therapy.

I watched the recording and it looked like a mom trying to discipline her bratty preteen boys. Should she have cursed as much as she did? Probably not, but no one's perfect. It's so messy as hell to have the kids hold on to that for 5 years, and then decide "as a family" to release right as Dad's gravy train is about to end. Sounds like he supports Jaime because the conservatorship benefitted him too. Her audience is a most likely a group of 40 and 30 somethings that grew up on her and love late 90s/early 00 nostalgia. But she isn’t used to that. She is used to being the pinup poster girl for heterosexual men.

I think it also has a lot to do with society’s unrealistic expectations of mothers. There are a lot of “Won’t she think of her kids?” comments under her IG posts. Which is nonsense since everyone has Google and her risque shoots from yesteryear have been available for years for them and their friends to see. Some people think mothers should be prude saints for the sake of their kids. I feel like its on Britney alone to decide to have conversations about her social media with her kids. I don’t care what anyone does on their social media as long as they don’t harm kids or animals.

I mean, selling a sexual imagery has been a part of Britney’s career since she was 16 years old. She, like Madonna, used sexual imagery to gain attention for decades. Just because they reach an age where the public feels like they should stop, doesn’t mean they feel they should stop. In Britney’s case, this is what she was taught since her formative years. When she was a kid, the adults were outraged. Now she’s an adult, and her peers are outraged. The only difference is now she is supposedly in control of her image.To me, she is looking for attention in one of the ways most familiar to her. ETA: I had no idea Vince was nearly 80. Wow, time flies. I feel like he’s looked nearly the same my whole life. Yeah, I’m sure its probably the allegations and he will just run things through Stephanie.

I was just assuming these were people that saw money signs when Nick approached them with the idea of unprotected sex. There are a lot of people in the world who would jump at the chance to have unprotected sex with a rich (and famous) person in the hopes of possibly procreating and securing money for them and their offspring. So yes, both parties are being reckless with their health and their decision-making. I would just think that Nick would want be smarter when it comes to his protecting his finances as well.

I mean, there are other ways to protect yourself besides condoms. He isn’t even trying. Imagine a woman with multiple young kids from different fathers saying she fell victim to men and went on a sex spree after losing one of her children and became pregnant again. She would be called everything but a child of God. I feel sorry for all the kids. Siblings all over town…hopefully the boys will grow up to do better than their father. Poor Kristina and Jack. That’s so sad.

Were was Bruce this episode? You would think he’d be there to see his kid brother and dad off. As to why he’s not watching Dean, perhaps Lillian and Bill didn’t think it would be fair to saddle him with that responsibility during his first summer back from Vietnam. It’s weird that they had Gramps in this episode but no explanation as to why he couldn’t watch Dean, though. It’s not like Dean is an infant or toddler that needs 24/7 supervision.

My prayer for little True is that she rebels against her mother's need to conform herself to whatever looks she thinks is socially acceptable and accepts herself as she is. And that Khloe doesn't project her self esteem issues on to her daughter. For all her money, I wish she would get some therapy for herself.

Poor Britney! I was so concerned for her when she announced so early given her advanced maternal age. Dealing with a miscarriage is horrible for anyone, but given all she's been through, I hope it doesn't cause any setbacks to her mental health.

I was a little bit leery when Lillian decided to leave her State job for a new start up company that may or may not work out. I'm glad that she ended up keeping that job AND getting better money/perks out of it. Go Lillian!
