  1. As someone who thought Aviva mentioning RHOA recently was suspicious, I want to point out that in September 2013 she did also mention New Jersey when describing the crazy RHONY brought this season. Make of that what you will. (I linked to it yesterday in the first reunion thread where this was being discussed.) Yeah, things don't add up, especially the Sonja part. Her kid and Sonja's daughter have supposedly been best friends forever and they didn't meet until last season because they were on a show together? How did Harry get away with having so many female friends and never introducing them to his wife? It’s not like they were work friends.
  2. My best guess as to how Ramona will play this one: You know what, in all sincerity, I was planning on talking about the end of my marriage of 21 years to a handsome man-—unlike Luann who was married to a man twice her age—but, you know what happened? I had forgotten that we still had to tell Avery. Seriously. No, seriously! So when Andy asked me how we were doing, in all sincerity, that's when I remembered we had to tell her so I just said we were fine. And then Andy kept insisting and...oh, it's making my flesh crawl just thinking about it! Andy reminded me of my father and the trees and then my face just froze and actually, in all sincerity, I panicked. **Where's my Ramona Pinot?** So, in al sincerity, it wasn't because things were bad between us. Seriously. No, seriously! Things were really great, because, actually, I'm a great person. I look gorgeous for my chronicle age. I have successful businesses and my own money, and I also have a wonderful daughter who gets straight A's in school—unlike Luann who married for money and whose daughter sells pornographic images on her website. I also have a new restaurant and a handsome soon-to-be ex-husband who is so handsome that he didn't have to wait until after we were separated to find someone new. So I didn't lie about everyone in my family doing well and I'm sorry you think I lied.
  3. It's Turtle Time, Ramona! Forget the shithead. You look good, you're successful, rich, somewhat famous, and the crazy? Well, some guys love that! Just ask Mario.
  4. This was after pirate-gate. Heather and Luann were at a restaurant and Heather asked how she and Jacques were doing. Luann acted like everything was good and said she was going to go through with the IVF...and then reality had it's own opinion.
  5. Since we are reminiscing about old times here and there, I figured we needed a home for just that because Ramona and Luann are not ghost's yet and they were in old episodes. Speaking of Luann, all the posts about the Carol and Sonja scene with the designer had me flashing back to memorable moments from season 5 and...remember when Luann was talking about IVF and then choked on an egg? LOL
  6. Here you go, the pussy hottie: http://peymanumay.com/about-peyman I can imagine it. Her solution would be to light an abundance candle.
  7. Yes. He is a designer. Carol had met him for drinks but never called him after that, which is why she was so awkward about seeing him again.
  8. Jill, for having shown herself to be an asshole, really did bring more of that to the show than anyone else.
  9. I agree. She is unintentionally funny. Like the other two loons.
  10. I was trying to think of things we've seen the interns learn about fashion and merchandising, and they have actually learned a few things. There was destination appropriate underwear, restoration of vintage goods, costume design on a budget, and advertisement of goods and services through clothes...or lack thereof.
  11. Maybe. But I can picture Avery rolling her eyes when Ramona was being an idiot and then using her as an excuse.
  12. To be fair, she was looking out for Kelly. She just wanted to make sure Kelly had fixed those wonky boobs before she flashed them in Playboy. Ramona is just so misunderstood.
  13. Finally saw it. I've laughed so much with these reunion episodes I almost thought about forgiving Bravo for the George episodes. Maybe they should leave the Crew of Sanity as full-timers and then the Trio of Batshit as "Friends of" for injections of unintentional comic relief (and other injections with Ramona's dermatologist). Speaking of the crazy, I loved how Ramona, in a rare moment of clarity, told Aviva that when you hear negative things you shouldn't repeat them. I guess that's one of those things she forgets? I also love how she always seems to get an eyelash stuck in her eye when they're talking about certain topics. Oh, yeah, and Ramona saying Harry calls everyone with hair and two legs....still funny! Poor Sonja, all I could think of when she was talking was that if these delusions continue she is going to have to move in with her homeless girl in Ireland. And Aviva, boy, that woman needs not just a village, but a damn continent full of ghostthinkers. Her blog is really something else, too, playing the martyr for being the messenger? GTFOH! Actually,GTFoff the show!! Good times! Thank you, Bravo.
  14. Haven't read Leg's book, but the essay she mentioned in the first BookGate scene BLOWS in every direction. Carol is clearly more talented.
  15. She is also very... lumpy in odd places. Edited to add: Hiiieeee!!
  16. Because it just can't be said enough, judging by the posts, it doesn't seem anyone here thinks Carol was anything but justified in her anger about the rumors Aviva was spreading. However, to me, just because she is justified in her anger doesn't mean she is justified in her actions (the diagnosing). For someone who likes to point out the possible mental instability of her adversary, I think, as the supposedly stable one, she should not have engaged and sunk to the levels Aviva did, instigating continued backlash from Aviva and prolonging the storyline fueled by rumors. She could have just stuck to denying a ghostwriter was used, telling Aviva to look at her copy of the book for proof no ghostwriter was used, even calling her a lying bitch, screaming it if she needed to, but no, that was not enough to make Carol feel better. She had to go where she knows there very well may be an issue. Perhaps she realized this in the last scene when she picked up the leg and simply said it wasn't OK, leaving the diagnosing to the medical professionals...To the stars, no doubt! I like Carol. I certainly like her more than I like Aviva. However, just because I find one a million times more likeable than the other does not mean the more likeable one is immune to criticism when she behaves inappropriately. And if she did indeed know Aviva was trying to start something, her behavior is even more disappointing to me.
  17. Just stumbled upon this from September 2013. Aviva includes New Jersey here in her description of RHONY this season: "A lot of the alliances change. Every single thing that happens is a huge surprise. And there's a lot of craziness. New York is usually more civilized and this season I feel like there are characters who seemed very subdued before who go absolutely nuts. I feel like this season is really over-the-top dramatic. I think we’re gonna give The Real Housewives of Atlanta and The Real Housewives of New Jersey maybe a little run for their money." http://www.bravotv.com/blogs/the-dish/aviva-drescher-dishes-on-new-book-next-rhony-season
  18. Have you met Ramona's tennis instructor yet? The one who is kinda hot in a cheesy, 80’s, just-one- Hawaiian shirt- away-from- being Tom Selleck sort of way. The one who says he is a “tennis pro in the Hamptons…by day.” I've always wondered if he and MaxMax were co-workers…by night.
  19. No question Ramona is a bitch, but she does bring a lot to the show. When I think of memorable scenes through the years that had me laughing and snarking and on my high-horse, Ramona was responsible for many of them. She's also been quite the giver of gifts that keep on giving, in my opinion. Just in the very first episode of the show she gave us chronicle, as in her "chronicle age." Lol Her lack of self-awareness even had Andy and the saner couch chuckling in the first part of the reunion. She mentioned that she broke up with her ex-fiancé because he was too self-consumed. (There's no way I was the only poster here who was dying when she said that!) Somehow her explanation of what "Turtle Time" was required her to mention that wine has been around since the Bible. Uh, ok. Then she talked about how it's not a big deal that she threw wine at Kristin because she was IN liquid. hehe Sure, Ramona. She’s a bitch who is fun to laugh at. Hell, she even chimes in on the writing process. Explaining it to Carol. Too funny!
  20. Don't know if Aviva is a racist but we do know she was raised by that flaccid dick who was very much consumed with his gold-digger's race when Ramona's concerns had nothing to do with her race and everything to do with his disgusting-ass self.
  21. She even said as much when she kept going on about the non-well-wisher bit. And then she took it too far.
  22. No, by that point she had moved on to diagnosing Aviva's mental stability (deranged, psychopath, and later on Munchausen Syndrome). In light of the fact that Aviva has admitted to phobias resulting from trauma, to me it was very similar to what Aviva did when she felt wronged – she fought back and fought back dirty. I think we all agree that Carol was justified in her anger once Aviva actually attacked her career. It is before that where we disagree. To some of us Carol wasn’t simply a poor victim attacked by the big, bad Aviva. She played a role in the beginning, and then continued to do so (again, justifiably so) when Aviva attacked her career.
