I watched her Church Potluck episode yesterday. The 7 layer salad. The dressing was mayo, sour cream and sugar...I literally gagged. Shows from back in 2012, where her hair was darker seemed so much more natural..I cannot take 16 versions of the same recipe anymore.

I get mine at Trader Joe's...its really easy to use...it also makes great cheesy bread without the bread...worst thing that can happen is you don't like it. Just make sure you flavor it well and use a good sauce! let us know how you like it :)

This! So true Neuro...you can stop drinking, smoking and doing drugs but you have to eat to survive..that is why we say one day at a time. Some of us just don't have the same coping skills as other....it doesn't make us weak...it's an internal struggle. Binging or throwing up or starving ourself is how we punish ourself. I would never judge...I am always kind...because you don't know someone else's battle and kindness is free. Recovery is a day to day process. I was on the opposite end of the spectrum. I was very overwight and had Gastric Bypass in 2001. There is always something much deeper and emotional in regards to eating disorders or addiction. I was sexually abused by a camp counselor as a child and I know that is what led me into my spiral of gaining weight. I remember sitting at a table ..even as a child and having adults and kids ridicule me for being fat...it wasn't until I was almost 30 that I felt like I could share what happened to me. I feel for her...because I know it goes way deeper than just being thin,

I just can't watch the Bethenny & Carole show anymore. They are truly the mean girls at the lunch table. Bethenny always seems to come across to me as almost manic. Dorinda is right when she says every get together is a shit show. I don't like Ramona much either. Since we're a few episodes in I thought I might be able to get into it but it is the same things over and over and over....it's the producers just beat those horses until there is nothing left of it.

I had Gastric Bypass back in 2001.....lost 150 pounds and kept it off. I hate when TLC latches onto a theme (fat people, little people,amish etc) Granted she puts herself out there but I cannot watch one second of it because it just comes across as so in-authentic.

Franks dad is Sid Eudy...he used to be a very popular wrestler in the WWE back in the day and went by the name Sid Vicious. I don't mind Frank...but Bronte and that voice! ugh

Listening to Amy talk, she always sounds self defeating and sounds like she has self esteem issues..and then I realize...well duh..she was married to Matt! He was probably pretty verbally abusive...like when he talks about how he likes to take things and wrestle them to the ground (meaning issues and goals) and basically get his way. I'd have whacked him with that crutch a long time ago.

Taylor reminds me of "Six" from Blossom.. She is unbearable to watch and or listen to..I find myself yelling at the tv lol Vicky & Ben? Why did they even get married? He would have been annoying right off the bat for me. I think she just wanted to get married for the sake of getting married....oh and please...take off those awful Ugg slipper boots!!

Every week it just seems like they are trying harder and harder to come up with storylines.....just like every Bravo/TLC show...they start tumbling down that rabbit hole. I used to like this show....it's become painful these days.

More stew today with grits and cherry type chocolate cake....much like she made for her dad in the previous episode he was in....oh and blistered green beans....can't forget those.

The only thing I can think of is that some of them come off as the mean girls at the Junior High School lunch table.....notice I said Junior high and not High School. It has become downright difficult to watch. I kind of miss the old days and that is saying a lot.

Today was more "tolerable" I cannot deal with Jed & Paula but I like Sunny. It was SO nice to not hear "WELCOME TO THE VIEW YA'LL" for the first 10 minutes of the show.
