  1. I did not see the whole episode. I watched the beginning last night and the ending this AM. I'll watch the entire episode later, but I loved th ending. I really do wish Rebecca would tell the kids, “I know you idolize him, but your father wasn’t perfect. He made mistakes. He stopped and took a shot of whiskey on our way home from the hospital with you.” I like Madison and Kevin together.
  2. I liked Playing Cupid. Maybe it was just in comparison to the movies the previous 2 weeks, or because my expectations were low, but I enjoyed it.
  3. Yeah. I’m not surprised they’re using him. He’s good and more importantly, especially in covid times, I guess he was there. I was looking back at old Instagram posts and I think Brennan commented on one of his with his kids around Christmas that he had been gone for four months. They filmed 2 of these in that time. I hope in the next one there’s some actual movement in their relationship because I was annoyed that there was no kiss after she knew he was in danger at least twice, and he knew that if she saved him. In a non-Hallmark universe smooching would have happened.
  4. Interview with Vicary. My favorites in 2020, in no particular order were: Deliver By Christmas; Project Christmas Wish, Cross Country Christmas; Five Star Christmas; Christmas By Starlight; The Christmas House; The Christmas Bow; Cranberry Christmas; Love Lights, Hanukkah.
  5. The Sunday night movies were way better than the Saturday night movies this weekend. I thought that the one on HMM - Project Christmas Wish - was the definitely best of the weekend and one of the best, if not the best, out of the 40.
  6. I thought it was the worst one that Hallmark has aired this year. I would have to be paid a lot of money to watch it again.
  7. I’ve been on the bio-mom didn’t die train but thought that would be too soapy. As soon as Randall told his therapist that he wanted to find a black therapist, I thought his bio mom did not really die, recovered, got her shit together, and became a therapist. And then the episode ended with us finding out his mom isn’t really dead, so I might be on to something. Laurel recovered and went on to become a therapist
  8. Eion Bailey had a beautiful post on Instagram about this movie. I enjoyed it thoroughly. It was definitely my favorite out of the first 4.
  9. Deck the Hallmark - 3 men - 1 loves Hallmark movies, 1 likes them, 1 hates them. They started off just reviewing the Christmas movies but have moved onto reviewing most of the movies (though they somehow missed Love to the Rescue). They usually have new podcast up every Tues & Thurs, I think by 5 or 6 AM eastern). They have actors on the podcast pretty often. Kimberly was on the one I listened to Thursday or Friday morning. She was on & Paul will be on I think they said one day this week. Paul was in the room with her while she was doing the podcast. Which made me wonder if they’ve been tapped to film something else together. According to what Kimberly said on DTH no one else was allowed on the set - they were the first film back and were limited at the number of people they could have on set each day so their children and spouses were not allowed on set when they filmed. If that kiss was filmed with their real life spouses it was done off set or something but it definitely looked different. Kimberly said that a lot of scenes that we’re filmed outside were originally supposed to be filmed inside and were moved to be filmed outside because of Covid-19 restrictions. The way she talked it seems like she believes that we will see more diversity like last night.
  10. I liked Love on Harbor Island. Was it originally supposed to be an October movie that they moved up? It was more fallish than most of their fall movies. The fall movies usually have 2 to 4 trees with orange leaves they move from scene to scene, and a coupe of pumpkins and the rest of the background is as green as it can be. I know the guy in charge of putting ads in the island’s paper/magazine/whatever said the next one would be out in a few weeks and mentioned it coming out in November. I can’t wait for the Deck the Hallmark guys to review it. I’ve been listening to their podcasts as I walk my dogs. I went back to their very first podcast after Christmas in July ended. They hated the balloon moon but love Busby because she comes on their show.
  11. I recommend listening to The Lawyer’s Daughter podcast. Jen Carole Lyman Smith’s daughter is the Lawyer’s Daughter. She was 18ish when her father & stepmother were murdered. She was considered a suspect even though they knew Charlene had been raped. She’s not real happy with HBO, IBGITD, or Paul Holes.
  12. Orange County could have potentially jeopardized the case by giving those boxes to Michelle. The chain of custody for that evidence was totally destroyed when Michelle and whatshisface got those boxes.
  13. According to this an Aurora Teagarden movie is/will resume filming soon. CCN & MH are spending their 14 day quarantine together.
  14. Here’s a link to a thread of tweets about when movies will start filming, where they will be filmed, and for which network if it is attached to a particular network.
  15. That Twitter account I linked has the dates of lots of (holiday) movies being filmed & not just Hallmark. There are several tweets about when what movie starts and if it is for certain networks. IIRC, they have several that don’t seemed tied to any particular network as of now, I guess those are the ones up for grabs which I’m will be good if there’s another shutdown. Hallmark had a BLM protest march by one of their sets. I don’t know if the guy knows for sure that was a Hallmark set or just labeled it a Hallmark set.
  16. According to this the wedding movie will air in August. That Twitter account has a lot of info about the filming schedule for Hallmark.
  17. I listened to The Lawyer’s Daughter podcast that had her as the guest. When he left, she called her best friend and told her to bring her dad and a knife to her house because she had been raped. Her family never spoke about what happened to her. I guess that was a pretty common reaction back then. They moved houses and she changed schools.
  18. Who else got the email about the Christmas movie set in Chicago and about a two people planning a scavenger hunt/dates based on the Twelve Days of Christmas?
  19. I would imagine most if not all were written and cast. I wonder if they filmed any in the winter before everything shut down. I know the movie with Chenowith and Wolf was filmed in early 2019, and remember reading Holiday for Heroes was filmed in the winter - the actors talked about how cold it was when they shot the bonfire scene. So it is possible they have a couple that were already filmed. Someone on twitter joked they couldn’t wait for the Hallmark movie, “A Covid Christmas” about a big city lawyer and a small town candle maker to fall in love when they end up in the wrong Zoom meeting. 😂🤣 They should have rushed a script and they could have already started filming that one.
