  1. That's how she said it though. She mentioned that it was a matter of preference. Bruno was the only one who specifically mentioned the hips. The thing is that with Len gone, there wasn't a judge who could actually give constructive critiques regarding technique, footwork, shoulders, etc. She needs to do that more. The last thing we need is another Carrie Ann. Bindi is getting a lot of love on the internet, but I'm not sure if that's translating into votes. Nick had a following before social media and he doesn't have a huge amount of followers on Twitter and Instagram. I can see the argument both ways though for Bindi or Nick having the lowest combined total score. Like I mentioned in my original post, I'm more shocked its not Carlos or Alek.
  2. I know that Derek probably has the biggest following of all the pros, but maybe Bindi isn't getting the votes everyone assumes she is. I have a hard time believing Nick's votes are suffering. It also surprises me that it's not Alek or Carlos with the lowest combined score. Really rooting for Nick and Sharna next week. I'm also sick and tired of Derek's hand choreography. It's old and played out. I get that it can be a part of Jazz, but I feel like this is the millionth time he's done it. Julianne is an alright judge, but I don't think she's a good fit. She rarely has anything to critique Bindi about. I think it's too biased of an opinion. Another problem is that when she does critique Bindi, it's on something so stupid like the "down and dirty" thing. How about her hips, Julianne? Bindi is definitely a solid dancer, but she's not perfect and I wish the judges would recognize this. It kills me when some get harsher critiques than others.
  3. I think it would have been Alek and Lindsay. Loved loved loved Sharna and Nick's trio dance with Peta. Speaking of Peta, so glad she's back. I missed her and I was amused by Tom telling her to get a little spray tan on his suit, his way of asking for a hug.
  4. That Daniel Craig/rental car skit was way funnier than I thought it was going to be. I particularly enjoyed DC breaking character and laughing after he grabbed him by the vest. My other favorite part was him telling him to let go since they have to pay for them themselves. I enjoyed the actual interview, too. Funniest bit was when he asked him if does his own stunts in the bedroom. The math lady was a little much, but I think Stephen handled her well. He actually got 54x3 wrong and then tweeted about it later.
  5. Derek is a talented choreographer and Bindi is a good enough dancer that he doesn't need to add all that useless crap like dancing on the floor. I'm not a fan of Derek, because I think he gets too much overt preferential treatment, but I can acknowledge his talent. I just hate it when he choreographs around a dance. I liked Tamar/Val and Nick/Sharna. On a side note, it really works in Sharna's favor to be the only red head (besides Anna) female pro. She easily stands out in any and all of the pro dances.
  6. Switch up week is good and bad. I like it because it's fun to see what others can do, but I hate that when its great, you know it's only for the one dance. I like Bindi/Val, Derek/Alexa, Lindsey/Carlos, and Emma/Alec. I think it's a disservice to the show to have Allison on as a pro. It seems like she more than any other pro always gets that critique about it not being the dance assigned. That was not a Viennese Waltz, which sucks because it's one of my favorite dances. Loved what Sharna did with Andy. She made him less erratic and a much cleaner dancer. That lift was awesome too. It was very smooth and seamless. I wish Sharna could dance with Andy and Nick. It sucks to see his potential being shown and knowing it'll probably be a mess by next week.
  7. My favorite part was Gary telling Alfonso to shut up. Speaking for all of us, at least me. As soon as I saw everybody getting straight 9s, I knew Bindi was in for at least one 10. I was a fan of Tamar and Val's rumba, Hayes and Emma's contemporary and Nick and Sharna's "jazz."
  8. I've always had this massive crush on Stephen and yeah seeing that he leaned more towards introversion was great. Your right in that you can tell he took it as himself and gave honest answers. I took a fake version of the lest a year and a half ago and I was an INFJ. I thought I was going to be a perfect match with Stephen, but alas it was not meant to be.
  9. I so adored his MB skit. These were the kind of segments from TCR that were my absolute favorites. He seemed to be in character for it too, but I didn't mind because it was awesome and funny. I couldn't tell at the end, but it seemed like he was sincerely touched by what the woman was telling him, which tickled me. I love his interviewing style too. He can seamlessly go in and out of serious conversation. Gah. I love him.
  10. Nattie is always portrayed as the crazy one. Even though she comes from wresting royalty, I don't think WWE cares too much about her. They're looking for younger and fresher.
  11. I can't believe (real or not) that was the resolution between Bryan and Nikki. "He did something nice for me four years ago so he can be a total asshole to me now." I really like Nikki and Brie when they're in scenes together. They naturally play well off each other.
  12. I hate even looking at him. The way he and Jenelle dress in order to be formal always seems like they're going to their senior year prom. Kail has to be the most heinous and difficult person to be around. Nothing ever pleases her and it seems like she's looking to pick a fight. Javi can't even give her a compliment without being scolded. Of course, he turned it into a passive aggressive dig (if not a straight up complaint), but that was only after Kail cried and deemed it not an acceptable compliment. Being passionate is a great thing! Especially, since Javi mentioned that it was in regards to her schooling. She sets goals and then achieves them. I'm not sure why she thinks a compliment about being a "good mother" is more acceptable, especially considering that being passionate can apply to her mothering skills. She takes care of her kids, keeps them fed, and clothed. She is exhausting. Also, I think Javi leaving because Kail followed this random guy on Instagram is a microcosm of a much larger issue. Obviously, he doesn't trust her. I think there's so much more to this then is being shown. We've seen Kail cheat on a boyfriend on camera before. One can only imagine what she's doing when the cameras aren't there. I think Kail is being sneaky and hiding stuff from Javi. I'm not saying that Javi's perfect or anything, because he certainly has his faults, but I think he's getting the short end of the stick just on editing alone. Kail has shown to be a cheater and I wouldn't be surprised if she's doing it now. Not to mention that it doesn't seem like she ever wants to spend time with her husband. She always looks miserable. Put a fork in them, they're done. Kail's probably already on the prowl for her next victim. Big WTF to Kail not wanting Joe to move closer. She complains about her driving 6 hours both ways and when Joe tells her that he's going to fix that problem by moving closer, she rejects that idea too? There's no pleasing her. She wants Joe completely out of the picture and I'm glad that's he's standing firm. Hopefully, he'll pursue more custody of Issac. I hope Joe and Vee moved in right next door. Kail asking Issac if he wants his dad to move closer made me want to reach through my screen and slap her. Why are you using your kids as a pawn in your childish games? A good mother would not do that. They haven't shown much of Jace and Barb, but I appreciate Barb ignoring Jenelle's calls. Jace is probably savoring those moments of peace.
  13. Dude. She's funny and Morgan too in a very self-aware way. I loved the comment about Asian tourists finding the best spots for photos, saying they've scoped out the area, etc. I adore her.
  14. Y is for the yarn that Sophia used to knit a bottle cover for the sherry. She's a part of the Cloud Society and if you drink out of a paper bag in the park, suddenly everybody's your friend.
  15. K is for the knives, more specifically Ginsu that the tiny herring juggled at St. Olaf's annual talent show. One wrong move and they could've filleted themselves.
  16. I is for Ingmar von Bergman, St. Olaf's meanest ventriloquist. He caused Sven to come back and haunt Gunilla every Tuesday night at ten, nine central.
  17. C is for Chattanooga where Blanche may or may not have been allowed to ever visit again even though the sheriff still writes.
  18. Let's see, any details or anecdotes from any of the girls' stories. A is for Adolf Hitler, Rose's history teacher, known by his alias Fritz Stickelmeyer.
  19. Z is for the zipper in Blanche's dress that wouldn't go up. More specifically her red wedding dress that she would wear annually.
  20. L is for Lazlo, the Hungarian sculpture who Rose, Blanche, and Dorothy posed for. He unveiled his final work at the show at the museum.
  21. I know there's a lot of hate for the flashback episodes, but I loved them. It gave us some great and memorable moments and i like seeing scenes that hadn't been shown before. I also think I read somewhere that they did so many of them, because it gave the girls a break from working a bit. The other day I watched "Empty Nest" in its entirety for the first time in a long time. It wasn't as terrible as I remembered it. Granted, it's definitely not great, but not as bad as I thought it was. Honestly, I think it's a terrible idea to introduce a show like that. The character of George was terribly unfunny. The concept itself didn't mesh so well with GG.
  22. I is for Isaac Q. Newton, Rose's date for the banquet. I is also for ill, which all the girls were (except for Sophia) when they attended the "Best Friend of the Friends of Good Health" award.
  23. L is for Las Vegas where they took a trip in the S5 finale.
  24. I get what you're saying, but I think it sort of framed what his character was going to be, a smartass.
