  1. Another chapter in my never ending quest to be the most annoying person on the planet: This Game Time never should have gone to the tiebreaker. Before the first "last question" (the one that turned out NOT to be the last question), Sarah has 25 points. She answers that question correctly without a hint (Addams Family Feud), so she should now have 27 points. However, when Dave asks for the scores again after he realizes his mistake, Tara says Sarah has 26 points. So, going into the REAL last question, Sarah should have had a 2 point lead, not 1. And, of course, it didn't really matter because Sarah won anyway. And it didn't really MATTER, because it's just a game on a podcast, And, really, does anything really MATTER anymore anyway, in the grand scheme of things? I'm going back to bed.
  2. Harry Shearer won the 2014 Emmy for Voice Over performance....another formatting error, maybe?
  3. Fellow early 40s white Atlanta resident here (sort of....been in the suburbs most of my life). Really looking forward to this, both as a big fan of Donald Glover and interested to see how my hometown is portrayed.
  4. While I am loving the show so far, what I'm really dropping in to say is that I like the "long form" recap that we got for this one....reminds me of the old TWoP days, which is a good thing!
  5. While I love all of Fargo's second season, I probably would have voted against this going into the Canon just because I think the Canon should represent the absolute best of a show, and I don't even think this was the strongest episode of this season. But I take the Canon way too seriously, so...YMMV.
  6. This episode was a pure delight to listen to, and it made me wish (yet again) that I had been hanging around in that bullpen ten years ago.
  7. Rye had just 1) snorted coke, 2) been sprayed in the face with bug spray (which is a neurotoxin) 3) been stabbed in the back and suffered some blood loss 4) just been through a pretty harrowing experience in general. Pretty sure that the combination of those things could be enough to cause some hallucinatory experiences....I don't see this show turning into the X-files. I loved the first season, and I can't wait to see where this one goes...lots of people saying there is "too much going on" or "this thing wasn't explained, and that thing doesn't make sense." Maybe we should give the show more than one episode to tell a season long story?
  8. If you still haven't watched this, you owe it to yourself to watch the whole thing (it's only about 4 hours in total) just to get to a certain Beth/Gene/(mystery person) conversation in the finale. It's....marvelous.
  9. Jeez...TPTDP has sorta killed the comment section for EHG.
  10. This is the scene that led me to award the Emmy to Jeffrey Tambor for Most Times Making Scott Cry in a Public Place. The people at Which Wich probably think I'm a crazy person.
