Mulva November 18, 2019 Share November 18, 2019 'WandaVision' makes me think of that Futurama PSA, "Don't Date Robots!". 1 Link to comment
arc March 6, 2021 Share March 6, 2021 BTW it turns out that the human body is itself a 'Ship of Theseus' problem, because most cells are replaced over the course of years. Even some neurons get replaced sometimes. That said, it could be argued that one's "permanent" cells -- mostly the brain's higher functions and the eye's lenses -- could be the seat of identity if one wanted to cheat the problem here. (and all things considered, the lenses are usually considered less fundamental to human identity.) 1 Link to comment
arc March 6, 2021 Share March 6, 2021 The "hex" shape over Westview can't actually be a solid (or at least a non-toroidal solid) comprised of only (non-degenerate) hexagonal faces. https://math.stackexchange.com/questions/2121175/is-it-possible-to-have-a-spherical-object-with-only-hexagonal-faces Of course the show can cheat this by simply never constructing/showing the whole Hex. Silver Raven March 9, 2021 Share March 9, 2021 (edited) So: 1-Wanda created her copy of Vision out of thin air. 2-Hayward was tracking Wanda's Vision by measuring the decay rate of vibranium Therefore, Wanda can create vibranium out of thin air. Brn2bwild May 10, 2022 Share May 10, 2022 I don't know where else to put this, since there is no Other Roles thread: Sometime back in 2011, it was rumored that Paul Bettany would play Javert in the Les Miserables movie opposite Hugh Jackman. At the time I thought: "Who?" Now I think it would have been a fantastic choice, at least based on Paul Bettany's acting skills. I have been looking for, but unable to find, any clips of him singing anything, so no idea how he would have sounded vocally. 1 Link to comment
