Roger Ailes joins forces with media magnate Rupert Murdoch to form Fox News Channel; working feverishly to get ahead of the competition, Roger must do the unthinkable and put an entire network on the air in the space of six months.

I was kind of underwhelmed by Russell Crowe's performance in the first episode. Love him or hate him, Roger Ailes was a force to be reckoned with and I never felt in any of the scenes that Ailes was a commanding or intimidating presence in the room. (Save for the exception of his sexual harassment of the woman he was interviewing). And it took me to the end credits to realize Sienna Miller played his girlfriend. Never recognized her.

Curious to know why Ailes is bleeding all the time.

The guy they got to play Hannity looked nothing like him. They must have used the casting people from the ID Channel to select him.

Fat balding Russel Crow makes me feel very, very old. Goddammit.

Fox decimated and divided the country I thought I knew, and loved, and CHOSE (not to mention some relationships).  So, sore spot; scab not quite ready to be ripped off.  "Fair and balanced" is still one of my trigger phrases.

I usually love a show with good villains but I found this difficult to watch---just awful people.        I don't really remember Ailes well enough to know if Crowe is doing a good job----the actor himself is not the most likeable guy when I've seen him speak in interviews, but he certainly made the character repulsive.

Good job makeup and wardrobe.
