It's my probably unpopular opinion that she's still in love with him and feels a degree of possession over him. I don’t quite think Maci is still “in love” with him, but I understand what you mean. I think Maci’s pride is still deeply wounded that Ryan didn’t want her, and she believes had Ryan been with her his life would’ve gone a lot better. Maci has a very high opinion of herself and just cannot wrap her head around how Ryan didn’t become the man of her dreams. 3 Link to comment
