Wizard and Glass was the book that almost made me give up the series. I hated it so much it took me over a year to read and when I was done I found out I pretty much could have skipped the majority of the book.

I understand why people might hate it, but I rather enjoyed it. When I get around to my re-read I may hold off on it until the end (or begin with it). Would love to hear what in particular you disliked about it so much!

The entire back-story. It dragged on and on and on and felt like a waste of time.

We read these at a bar I used to hang out at, waiting for each one for years. #goodtimes Predictably, the movie was beyond horrible.

I have such a love-hate relationship with this series. There was so much just... stupid shit and awful plot lines - especially towards the end - that I almost gave it up, but then… there was no way I could have. 😄 I had to know what happened.  

In fact, now that I think about it, I have a love-hate relationship with the entirety of King's literal production. So many things that I dislike in the majority of his books and yet there's something that always draws me back in.

Although I loved the first book (before he revised it), I got tired of the series after the third book. I've considered getting the rest as audio books. Probably the only way I could finish the series.
