So like as much as Debbie was insufferable advocating for Brad I thought Ozzy was fine.  He has his idea of why to vote for people, why people should win Survivor, and he articulated it without shitting on the others or being delusional.  I thought he was too hard on himself when he said he's tried to do what Brad did and failed four times, because he did it in Cooks -- and could very easily have won it if this or that feather had blown the other way on the scale.  Anyway it was kind of nice to see him participating in the final tribal since he seemed so bored and over it most of his time in the jury box.

Agree. But remember his interest seemed to be piqued once Brad had achieved his 4th immunity win: we saw an arched eyebrow that could have been interpreted as 1) really? If anyone managed that this season, I would have bet Tai (because Tai outlasted Ozzy in the pole challenge); 2)  indeed? Could this guy be playing the way I did back in that season with Coach and Cochrane, when my whole initial tribe was being eliminated and I was hanging by the thread attached to the immunity idol around my neck? 3) really Jeff? I'm sitting here and you chant the prowess of another challenge monster? Dude, that's not cool.

What I liked about Ozzy at FTC is that he's one of the few who knows what it's like to be so desperate that you HAVE to win, and I also found interesting that he told about what a toll it takes on your body (and I guess your mind too). I've often wondered if the gloating after a win is not just a physical expression of the relief of the challenge being over with a good outcome, kind of how the most fairplay to tennis player have these few seconds after a win when they look like they're internally shouting "Yes!" or "Take that!". And then they get back to their usual selves, shake hands with their opponent, and are gracious in the press conf. But still, they need that moment first. All of them.

Last night I finished watching the reunion, and I have to say Ozzy's attempt to make the new jury format a metaphor for how to heal our fractured nation was just so painful to endure.

He really did get as close as humanly possible in Cook Islands with Adam's admission that he would have voted for Ozzy if not for Yul making the Jonathan deal.

It's been interesting to watch his jury videos and how much he seemed to be pulling for Cirie, after spending the beginning of the season plotting to get her out.

He also really seems to hate Sarah, but I'm not exactly sure why.
