Loved how Zoey kicked Jackie's ass in the fake phone call contest. Squealed like a little girl at Coop and Eddie's bro-dance-- guys, if you knew how adorable it is when two bros dance, you would do it in the streets. Annnnd. I have to say, knowing what I know about the advice they give addicts about pets, and given the way programy tropes are building in this series-- I really fear for that dog. Just had to say it. But then I think back to his powerpoint presentation about the goals he wanted to achieve and I start to laugh. Grace is such a manipulative little bitch now. You show up at her work to ask for help when you're already using? It just rubs. I love, love, love Zoey and how she calls it straight with Prentiss. Totally confident and totally real. Loved them in the gay bar, as well as Coop and Eddie. Coop needs someone to get his head out of his own ass sometimes. What's going on with Gloria?Is she on some good happy pills? Is she developing a gambling problem? Regardless, enjoying. I didn't think Zoey really beat Jackie in the dr phone calls though, since Zoey's dr was more annoyed than scared since she knew her mom was on a cruise. lol Link to comment

She beat her as far as her willingness to up the rhetorical ante, I guess. As for Jackie and her flailing sponsor relationship-- yeah, she's not really working her program if she takes pills and then expects her sponsor to pick up the slack, but weirdly enough, people do stupidly try to work program without quitting. And everybody starts out by trying to make their sponsor their wailing wall-- it is up to the sponsor to take hold of that and spin it toward step work. My bet is we will start seeing that happen-- they probably just don want to lay it on too thick at first. 2 Link to comment
