To help Barbara find material for her new column, Abby joins her for a night out on the town. Jo deals with the ramifications after the sudden departure of Scott. While Phoebe and JD try to bond with the kids, Delia plays the fixer when her new client gets stuck in a compromising position.

How can they get rid of the one hot guy (Scott)??

Bring back the house porn.  If I have to watch Abby be a judge-y bitch again -- this time to Barbara -- at least spend some time with the furniture.

On the plus side: though the book -- agent? Editorette? was another example from Younger of Millenial Moronitis, I thought the romance novel idea was perfect for Abby.

Yeah, Abby has moments of clarity and likability, but they are few and far between. She's making Carrie Bradshaw look evolved and mature. And her clothes--that's her idea of a good outfit for a sports bar? Her teetering around on spindly 5 inch spikes and her inappropriate clothes and her weirdly tortured 'dos (Lisa Edelstein has some of the world's best hair, why do they keep doing this to it?) just age her. She doesn't look young n cool, she looks wound tight and trying too hard, like somebody's desperate housewife mom. Which she basically is. and yes, why on earth would the coach be remotely attracted to her at this point?

I have a very very hard time feeling any kind of sympathy for Phoebe. I didn't realize that her last alimony check was for more than I make a year. Poor Phoebe, having to let go 'the weekend nanny' and her arborist and her psychic advisor or whatever. I want to smack her every time she bemoans her having to 'cut back'.

Is Scott not coming back, really? he's so pretty.

Yeah, the fact that Phoebe seemingly didn't realize how privileged she is, nor did she realize the financial implications of getting married, strains credulity even on a show that is as far from reality as this one is.

Amongst other things, the writers need to pay attention to how many people are rude to the leads without comment.  (kids, clients, employees, love interests, strangers, ex-husbands, co-workers, bosses, etc). On what planet do people verbally shit on you without you putting your foot down?

The ladies themselves are their own form of rude but once in awhile there's an attempt at an apology or...they get told off. But they never tell other people to knock it the f*ck off. Scene after scene someone treats them like crap and they just take it or slink away. Frustrating.

Anyway, that's my pet peeve.  Just one meaningful, well-placed, "who the f*ck do you think you're talking to?" and I'd be fine.

And they insist on casting the most unattractive men they can find. The loss of Scott will be felt.

Glad that Barb told Abby out herself. Her comments/attitude were so damn wrong.

I think the coach is handsome too (and he might be a jerk, but Abby is such an annoying ditz to him that I almost feel it's warranted). I also think JD is cute, and several men of the past are attractive as well. I even think Paul Adelstein is cute.  It's mostly Delia's men I find so creepy and unattractive. And Frumpkis. But please, yes, bring Scott back.
