nodorothyparker December 3, 2016 Share December 3, 2016 (edited) They've done half seasons since the second one. Tomorrow's episode is the last before the midseason finale until the second half resumes, usually sometime in February. Problem is that ratings are diving to levels not seen since the interminable Gov. arc in season 3 and unless they show some hope of turning this thing around people may not come back. Our household is in that group. Edited December 3, 2016 by nodorothyparker 3 Link to comment
Raven1707 December 5, 2016 Share December 5, 2016 Whoever was responsible for continuity in this episode seriously messed up -- the bridge staging that Tara and Heath encountered only remotely resembles the bridge staging when Tara returns with Cyndie; all those neatly parked cars that Tara runs over the top of to bypass the sand zombies were NOT there during her earlier visit. Unless there's zombie valet service no one knows about...? Link to comment
Raven1707 December 5, 2016 Share December 5, 2016 The Cable Live +3 Ratings are in for "Swear": Yes, “The Walking Dead’s” ratings are falling since its big season premiere, and the Nov. 27 episode dipped to a four-year low in the overnight ratings. It’s also true that it’s still the No. 1 show on cable by a long shot, even in its lower-than-usual state. Case in point: With three days of DVR and on-demand viewing, the Nov. 27 episode grew by 2.0 points. That’s as big or bigger than the three-day total for all but one other cable show, “Monday Night Football.” Down? Yes. Out? Hardly. [14.275 million viewers; 6.9 rating] http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/dvr-ratings/cable-live-3-ratings-for-nov-21-27-2016/ And here are the Live + Same Day and Live +3 ratings for Season 7 so far: 10-23-16 “The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be” 17.029 million; 20.793 million 10-30-16 “The Well” 12.455 million; 16.849 million 11-06-16 “The Cell” 11.721 million; 16.225 million 11-13-16 “Service” 11.402 million; 15.718 million 11-20-16 “Go Getters” 10.996 million; 15.267 million 11-27-16 “Swear” 10.403 million; 14.275 million 1 Link to comment
Raven1707 December 8, 2016 Share December 8, 2016 These are the Cable Live +7 ratings for "Swear": “The Walking Dead” hit a four-year ratings low with its Nov. 27 episode. The show gained a lot with a week of DVR and on-demand catchup, but its Live +7 numbers are on the low side too. The AMC show is severed head and shoulders above the rest of the field with a 7.4 rating in adults 18-49 and 15.1 million viewers after a week. But the raw numbers are down from the previous week (7.9 and 16.31 million), and the show’s growth was smaller as well (2.5 vs. 2.7 points in adults 18-49, 4.69 million vs. 5.31 million viewers). iRarelyWatchTV36 February 13, 2017 Share February 13, 2017 Finally got around to watching the episode and oh my goodness, talk about an island of tranquility in a sea of horrible noise. Best episode of the season (to date), and for one simple reason; NO Negan and his incessant monologuing! Oh how my ears rejoiced. 1 Link to comment
