I'm going to answer the Roadhouse, because it says "the latter's death", which would mean Dean, and they go to the Roadhouse after "In My Time of Dying". And in Heaven, Ash is in a Roadhouse heaven, so it works for that too. Link to comment

So, Sam and Dean together would be the former and Ash the latter, but it could be read that Sam is the former, Dean is the latter. And, you're right, they do meet him in the Roadhouse in Heaven....tricky, tricky. ;) Link to comment

I got hung up on the latter between Sam and Dean and immediately thought, "they both died when they met Ash in Heaven." But now I think you're right. The question is much simpler. Link to comment
