5 p.m. episodes-

Manhunt for Criminal at Large!-Plaintiff Dejana Little suing defendant/boyfriend Sylvester Tuggles for money for her car. Her criminal boyfriend was driving when it was impounded. Foolish plaintiff had her car stolen or borrowed by boyfriend, and it was impounded after defendant goes to California, commits a robbery of a lady's purse, and he already had an extradition warrant for household burglary from Washington.    (So ,defendant testimony that this was his first arrest is a lie).  Apparently defendant was the getaway driver.

Plaintiff tried to get a lawyer, and bond to get loser out of jail, so she could have him help her get the car back.     I hope this fool boyfriend soon commits two more crimes in California, they have that three strikes law for sociopaths like him.  Plaintiff claims defendant's mommy made her feel guilty for not getting loser son out of jail.   Plaintiff lost her license for not having insurance card with her, an unpaid traffic ticket, and also had a pending DUI.  (My guess is the boyfriend is not an ex).

Until defendant's robbery case is settled, plaintiff's car is on an evidence hold.

(Officer Byrd is glaring at the defendant like he wants to make him cry.)

$1402 to plaintiff for car that she'll never see again.   (I wouldn't have paid plaintiff a penny for the car, she voluntarily gave the car to boyfriend)

Married Teen Victim of Odometer Fraud-Plaintiff Julia Ramirez and (husband) Miguel Ramirez Hernandez suing defendant Jordan Blas want the  money they paid for car, and money for what they put into the car (not getting that).

$3300 was the cost of a car, and the odometer wasn't 108,000 miles, but CarFax says it was actually 208,000 miles.    Car was bought by defendant at auction, and he offered a refund.    The plaintiffs should have looked at the Car Fax first.    Plaintiff wife just won't shut up.

Plaintiff signs title to defendant, and gets money for car $3300.

Man Brings Wife and Girlfriend to Court-Plaintiff Alan Robertson suing defendant/girlfriend Isis "Cici" Cruz for unpaid loans.  Defendant is girlfriend of plaintiff. Plaintiff, a cheating husband, and his wife are in court.   Plaintiff alleges multiple unpaid loans.   Plaintiff claims just a work friendship, but defendant says they were cheating together.

There were a bunch of previous loans in 2017, none were repaid; another loan was not repaid in 2018.  There was another 'loan' to pay for church ceremony pictures for defendant's son, $300.  There was no expectation of repayment.

Plaintiff's wife looks less than thrilled to be in court with lying, cheating husband, and his girlfriend.   The $1600 loan for defendant's son's car was acknowledged as a loan.

$1600 for plaintiff.

If You're Psychotic and You Know It, Clap Your Hands-Plaintiff/former tenant Chaniya Nora suing defendant /former landlord Melody Johnson for security deposit, value of belongings, and illegal eviction.    Defendant wants unpaid rent (plaintiff was there for 3 1/2 months).

Plaintiff claims her boyfriend wasn't crazy, or abusive, and was barely there.  She also claims he wasn't her boyfriend, and didn't want to make a police report.     Defendant says boyfriend beat on plaintiff, says boyfriend was nuts, and wanted plaintiff to get a restraining order against her boyfriend.

Landlady also claims boyfriend was virtually a tenant, and violent.

Defendant claims police escorted plaintiff through her house to pick up her purse, and other belongings.  Plaintiff claims she didn't get her purse and license, but is sent out of court to get her purse, and see what date it was issued, before or after the eviction.   Plaintiff submits the police report, it was a civil standby.

$175 to plaintiff, deducted from $375 owed to defendant

Who Robbed Who?!-Plaintiff /(remodeling house to rent it out) Marisa Joyner suing defendant /(unlicensed contractor) Romiro Santos when more than $8k worth of appliances disappear, during a remodel.    Plaintiff's losses include appliances, sinks, and other items.   Plaintiff has a neighbor who witnessed a car at the house, and identifies the car as the defendant's.   Another plaintiff witness, Mr. Lozada, with the assistance of a translator, testifies that he also saw only defendant's vehicle at the house between 10 and 15 times, and saw Mr. Santos taking appliances away from the house.

$5,000 to plaintiff, and she's advised to follow up with the police.   (If plaintiff actually bought all of her appliances from Home Depot, she wasted a bundle of money, appliance warehouses, and other suppliers would have saved her a lot.)

Child Visitation Fight!-Plaintiff Kyrannesha McGuire suing defendant/children's father Devon Jordan over a loan for him to gain custody of a child by another relationship.    Plaintiff has two children with defendant, and in between the ages of her children, defendant had a child with another woman.

Loan was for visitation arrangements with the other woman's child.    I have the feeling I'm going to be yelling at my TV soon, over the plaintiff's foolish actions.

Plaintiff loaned him $1800, and defendant says that it wasn't a loan.  He says that if he didn't get a tax refund, then he would let woman claim the two kids on her taxes.  (What is the defendant wearing?   Something from the Game of Thrones Pleather collection?).

$2500 for plaintiff.

Surprise!   I Left You No Money!-Plaintiff /sister Rose Ramanto is suing defendant/brother Alex Cross for an unpaid loan to pay for his stepson's lawyer for an appeal of the son's prison sentence.

Defendant refuses to repay the loan ($4k), because the sister was the sole beneficiary of late mother's insurance policy, and defendant thinks he should have received half.

The loan wasn't really spent on an attorney, and never repaid either.

Plaintiff gets $4k.

Don't Mess with the Corvette- Plaintiff/ex-boyfriend Jhon Ocampo suing defendant/ex girlfriend  Danielle Perkins for car damage, assault, and return of belongings.  Plaintiff/ ex-boyfriend moved out, and claims harassment, but he went back to the house after the threat from defendant.    Defendant claims she threw his furniture out a week after plaintiff left, so he's sleeping on the floor.

Defendant claims she set up appointments up with plaintiff to pick his furniture up months after he moved out, but claims she had thrown it out long before.   Car damages are thrown out, he shouldn't have gone to her house after the threats.

Plaintiff only lived with pink-haired defendant for 2 1/2 weeks.   When defendant went to check on his furniture she had another fiance.

$1,000 to plaintiff.

Truck Facelift-Plaintiff Iyad Alabed suing defendant/ truck mechanic Nicholas Bono over a bad installation of a lift kit, and bigger tires, but mechanic had never installed a lift kit before.

Plaintiff paid $600 (half to defendant, and half to defendant's brother).    Bad things happened when lift kit failed, and he wants repair costs.

Plaintiff gets $300.

Teen Sued by Mom for Pitching a Fit!-Plaintiff (So-called mother of defendant) Danielle Jacobs says defendant / daughter Savanna Jacobs came to shower at Mom's house, and claims daughter threw a hissy fit in the shower, and damaged the shower wall.

Bill for shower repair is  $2,550, Defendant says she didn't break or damage the shower.   (We've just heard "Oh, crap!" on JJ🤣).    Daughter needed to zip jacket, over her evening wear dress.   Daughter swears she didn't break the Corian shower, and Mother says she did.

Corian is notorious for cracking all by itself.   Some is very thin, and if the shower panels weren't installed correctly, or if the house shifted, they would crack without anyone hitting them.

Case thrown out.  Zero proof that defendant did anything to the shower.

Ex-Lover Steals Shotgun and Gold Bars?!-Plaintiff Eben Feuillet suing defendant Stephanie Rivas for moving out of his house while he was driving long haul truck, and taking everything of value.   Defendant was living with her husband, while shacking up with plaintiff, then was divorced, kept living with plaintiff in his house,  and ex-husband got the kids.

Defendant took safe with gold bars, vital papers, coin collections, shotgun, TV, and everything she could fit in her car.   As JJ points out, defendant and plaintiff were having affair, then shacked up, and she's upset that she thinks he's cheating on her.      Defendant went to friend’s house, and sometimes with ex-husband.  Defendant admits she had his things, and Facebook message says she sold everything.

Plaintiff gets $5,000.

Scissor Hand Assault?!-Plaintiff Oti Bamfo-Agyei suing defendant/ex-friend Khi Ellerbe for loans, she claims they're all gifts.   She 'scratched' him with scissors, but  he says she stabbed him.   (Ms. Ellerbe scares me, and I can't imagine why she's not in jail for assault).  Plaintiff says defendant volunteered to give her money, and forced her to take it.     Plaintiff has proof for most of the money.

When defendant got mad at plaintiff, she stabbed him with scissors.   Plaintiff says she stabbed him, and left him for dead.  Defendant stabbed him in his car, and took scissors with her in her purse.

Plaintiff has photos of the text message she sent him to get him to her place, and the cut on his arm isn't that small.  Byrd is not happy with the defendant, can I hope he'll nail her with the Fly Swatter of Death soon?

 Plaintiff gets $2500.

Plaintiff says she stabbed him, and left him for dead.

Well, that was a bit of hyperbole.

3 hours ago, CrazyInAlabama said:

the cut on his arm isn't that small.

True, it wasn't a "scratch" as the defendant kept saying, it was a significant cut but not life threatening (I believe only because the defendant was trying but wasn't competent enough to do serious damage).

I enjoyed JJ getting pissed off at the defendant who is totally disconnected from reality and is classic batshit crazy. Plaintiff is lucky he got away from her.

5 p.m. episodes-

Golf Cart Collision-Plaintiff Laina Sorenson suing defendants/golf cart driver and wife/ Michel DeVost and Bertha Hanley (wife) for hitting her car broad side.  Defendant DeVost claims motorist caused the wreck. Golf cart driver pulled out into side of car, and it was all his fault.    Plaintiff came to the stop sign from a side street,, made a right turn, entered the main street which had no more stop signs.  Then, golf cart was coming out of a side street, cart driver ran a stop sign and hit the right side of her car.

My guess, defendant and his friends were having a liquid lunch, and were drunk when he hit her car.  Byrd boots the tottering obviously impaired wife of defendant, and I enjoyed it (I'm mean, get over it).

Plus, security guard took incident report, and defendant admitted he ran a stop sign and hit plaintiff's car.

$2010 to plaintiff.   They should take away defendant's golf cart, and anything else he drives.

Marriage on Drugs-Plaintiff/event planner (part time) Sevie Pearson sues for wedding expenses from defendant/current sister-in-law Laura Pearson .    Defendant paid $2003, plaintiff spent $5,900 and didn't charge for her services.

JJ asks why defendant brother (brother of plaintiff, husband of defendant) doesn't pay part of the expenses, and plaintiff says her brother barely ever works.  Brother is incarcerated, and an addict.  Plaintiff says the money defendant should have paid her is going to phone calls and commissary bills for brother.

$3000 for plaintiff.

Pregnant Dog Attack-Plaintiff Samuel Lee claims the defendant Martin Martinez's  pregnant dog was aggressive, because the dogs are more aggressive while pregnant (no they're not, only some are). And is suing for vet bills.

Plaintiff claims defendant knew his dog had a history of aggression, but didn't warn anyone, and shouldn't have brought his dog to the dog park.

Plaintiff took his Golden Retriever to the dog park, took it off leash, and the Golden went to the defendant's on leash German Shepherd, and a fight ensued.

Case dismissed, and plaintiff is an idiot.    Pregnant dogs are not more aggressive, maybe he's confused it with how protective a dog is after she has puppies?

Six Dachshunds Wreak Havoc?! -Plaintiffs Patricia and Mark Vierow suing defendants/former tenants Nilda Figueroa for damage to a rental home by the defendant’s Dachshunds, they were breeding and had at least 6 adult dogs.    JJ thinks people who rented their house for five weeks to two people who had six dachshunds (they breed them, so there were a lot more than six) made a bundle on rent.   They get nothing for the damage the people and their confined dogs did to their rental house.

I bet there were multiple litters, since five were breeding animals.   What kind of idiot breeds a 12-year-old dog?    Tenant and daughter both smoke too, but claim they never smoked inside, and never made a non-refundable pet deposit, per the lease ($50 per animal, so $300.  This was paid by the insurance company).

Plaintiffs get nothing.  (I've seen registered dog puppy mills, I bet those puppies were never out of that room their entire lives).

I hated the defendants in this case, since I wish all Puppy Mill operators would be prosecuted, and put out of business.

I didn't like JJ's decision the first time around, but the home owners did rent to the woman knowing how many animals she had, and did want the bonanza on renting to them.   I'm less sympathetic to the homeowners after mulling this case over.    I don't like JJ's reason for dismissing the plaintiff case, but I think the home owners rented to despicable puppy mill operators, and shouldn't be surprised about the damages.

Lease also prohibited smoking, and defendant and daughter both smoke.

House rental was $225 per day, it's a vacation rental, and the rent was $10,000 a month.  Damages added up to $4,700.

I wouldn't have let the defendants move in at all, but I certainly wouldn't let them move in without a security deposit, and pet deposit paid.  (Every lease I've ever read says no breeding animals, and has a maximum number of animals that tenants can own).

Plaintiff case dismissed.

Egged House Payback-Plaintiff Candice Olofson suing defendant / entitled brat and enabling father Martha Becker (daughter and (father) Jeffrey Pullman-Becker for damages to her house.   Entitled brat egged plaintiff’s door and house siding.   Plaintiff's house was egged by entitled twits, and JJ says $600 will cover the damage.

Wrong, the vinyl siding will have to be replaced, and good luck getting it to match.    This girl should have had major charges, and some jail time.   Bet she still pulls this garbage, and destroys what other people own. This little vandal is standing there smirking, next to her enabler father who can barely stop himself from laughing out loud at the plaintiff's damage.  JJ refuses to let the woman get money for replacing the door, and siding.

(So, JJ thinks the home owner should go out in the middle of the night to wash the egg off of her door, and siding?)   Ridiculous.  You know if that was JJ's house she would hire a hit man to take out the despicable father and daughter who did this, and who think it's a joke)

$250 for plaintiff, and that is ridiculous.    If that storm door is like mine, it will cost $500 at least to replace, including labor, and egg doesn’t wash off of doors or siding.

Judge's Biggest Fan Professes Love for Her!  -Plaintiff Terry Brewer and (nephew) Savion Brooks suing defendant Latanya Jones for robbing Brewer while he was in jail, and used his debit card without permission, and for stealing nephew's laptop.   Plaintiff says defendant while he was serving community service for traffic tickets (couldn't pay the fines) robbed him while he was in jail, including using his debit card.

Defendant lived with him for five or six days, then he was arrested for having naughty stuff in his possession (his former roommate's drugs he claims),  (he's so cute, he loves JJ) and the litigants went to store together.

(Plaintiff claims he works for UPS, as a seasonal helper, I seriously doubt he drives anything for them).

Litigants started fighting, and woman called the police.    Plaintiff was arrested for failure to appear (the FTA was on another case, not this one), and he went to jail for 12 days.   When man returned home, computers, TV, etc.  was all gone, and money was taken out of his bank account.     Nephew is a plaintiff because he loaned his laptop to his uncle, and it was stolen too.

Defendant admits that the ex-girlfriend of plaintiff (Stephanie) was invited over by her.

$2850 for the plaintiff.  As JJ ruled, whether the ex stole his stuff, or defendant did, she had control of his apartment, and property, so she's responsible.

Permanently Disabled Entrepreneur-Plaintiff James McCoy suing defendant/ex-fiance Kathleen Adams for unpaid wages.  Plaintiff is totally disabled, but worked in ex-fiance's cleaning business, and claims she didn't pay him for the missed wages.    I don't consider office/house cleaning to be 'light duty'.  Plaintiff has stents in his arms and legs, and he gets disability.   Plaintiff also says he's the driver to and from jobs for defendant, because defendant can't see to drive at night.

Defendant claims she paid him in cash, because he didn't want to report his money to the IRS, and because he can only earn $1385 a month with his disability.    He also made a claim to the California Labor Board, because defendant didn't pay him for May, for over $2,000+.  Case was withdrawn from the Labor Board, because defendant was going to marry him.       This is the third time the plaintiff sued the defendant for wages

Plaintiff wants all of his jewelry gifts to defendant back.

I think they're both shady,   I really hope someone from the Labor Board, and the IRS saw this case.   (Defendant says she will never take plaintiff back, and I betting they were back together after this).

Case dismissed, because it's garbage.

Fiancee Father Fight-Plaintiff Kevin Stanton suing defendant/ his son's ex-fiance Kayla Leckbeck for a phone she stopped paying on.    Defendant says she returned the phone to ex-fiance son, and says her phone was a buy one get one free.   Plaintiff says she still owes $376.   Defendant claims she gave a working phone back to ex-fiance, and it must have broken after that.   (Why is it always a brand new model iPhone?).

Plaintiff gets his $376 for the phone.

Bingo Charity for Children-Plaintiffs MaShaunda Bryan, Eileen and Juan Vasquez suing defendant/former landlord Daniel Esparza for return of security deposit and a loan for a failed attempt to open a Bingo charity to benefit children.  Plaintiffs wanted to rent a hall for a charity bingo, bought items for the bingo hall (expensive security doors, and other items).    However, they never were allowed to rent the hall.

Plaintiff wanted to lease a residential property, put down $900 on it, but never moved in.   Plaintiff gets her $900 back.   She also wants to be reimbursed for security doors she bought to go on the house (she can forget that).  Other plaintiffs were at the defendant's office the same day, to rent a charity bingo space, and they loaned the defendant $500, and they get $500 back.

Plaintiffs get $500 back for the loan, plus other plaintiff gets $900 property deposit.

$25 a Week Doesn't Feed a Gerbil!-Plaintiff Samantha Shepherd suing ex-husband defendant Jeffrey Barlow (who is paying nothing for child support, and he's filed for bankruptcy too), for a Dodge Durango that they had a joint loan for.   Married from 2005 through 2010, with two children.

Durango was repo'd, and plaintiff is suing for defendant's part of the shortfall on the car loan.   Defendant paid $1500 or so for the child support in the past year.    Defendant lives with new fiance, and her child or children.

The second the divorce happened defendant took a job working for tips, and minimum wage, then started a security company.     Defendant wanted plaintiff to file for bankruptcy too.      Defendant claims the child support was nullified by his bankruptcy.

Defendant claims he divorced woman because she cheated on him seven times, and I can't blame her for cheating on that loser. (However, what was she thinking marrying him, and having two kids with him?).

To pay off the Durango, plaintiff paid $3101.00, so loser defendant's part is $1550.50.

Polyamorous Relationship Fail-Plaintiff Nicolet Robinson  suing defendants/ ex-girlfriend Monique Green and ex-boyfriend Kasib Penn, who were all in a relationship together, for property, assault, stalking, and slander.

Plaintiff took her two little daughters (10 and 4) to the love fest too.   Plaintiff got dumped twice, by both defendants.    Defendant Kasib Penn borrowed money to fix his car, while they were in a relationship, while plaintiff claims defendant crashed the car and needed to replace it.   Defendant Kasib Penn claims the $130 he gave her was a gift, and not a loan repayment.  Loan was for $2,000.    $1850 still owed from the loan.

Assault charge is against plaintiff by defendant Monique Green, and the other way around too.  Plaintiff went to defendant Monique Green's home, and supposedly an assault happened, no police report, no medical records.

$1850 for loan, and nothing else.

Child Slapped for Wetting the Bed!?-Plaintiff/ ex-husband Rocky Germain suing defendant/ ex-wife Angela Shippy (with two kids 9 and 10 year old girls) for lost wages, libel, harassment, and defamation.  Plaintiff says actions by defendant have prevented him from keeping employment.   The defendant has a huge stack of evidence envelopes on her desk.   Ex-wife alleges domestic violence, and mental health issues in ex-husband.

Defendant claims plaintiff slapped the 9 year old girl (was there proof this happened?), for wetting the bed, custody hearing (at defendant's behalf) was held and defendant wanted supervised visitation only.    Judge changed visitation for a couple of months, and then it went back to unsupervised.

Defendant has taken plaintiff to court repeatedly since 2014, all over custody and other issues, trying to get the plaintiff alienated from his children. Defendant claims drug use (no evidence), abuse, mental health issues, and other issues for another custody hearing.   One time the plaintiff had the kids for three hours, noticed they were being followed, and went to a police station, and mother picked them up there.     (except he went to a police station a couple of hours away.  Maybe in the part of town where they live, the ex-wife has relatives on the force? Those were some very determined people to follow them enough for someone to notice).

What a shock, ex-wife has remarried, Casey Shippy (right after the divorce), and my guess is she wants to erase the first husband from her kid's lives.   Ex-wife alleges plaintiff beat her, and the  oldest daughter, and there is no proof, but this was before 2011 when they divorced.   There is zero proof of 'beatings'.

I think the defendant in the slapped child case was very practiced at looking like the responsible parent in court, and that was why she had the 50's hairstyle and makeup.    I couldn't stand her, and suspect that the plaintiff will be in court all of the time until the little girls are over 18.   I couldn't stand the defendant or her current husband.

There isn't  any proof except what the ex-wife said about the slapping incident.     I'm sure the poor little girls either say what the mother wants them to say, or they suffer.    I found it very strange that a girl that was 9 would wet the bed, unless she was sick or had some physical problem.

The entire defendant's table is covered with padded envelopes, but defendant didn't have the police report about beating or abuse by plaintiff in her giant quantity of paper.

Defendant contacted the plaintiff's current girlfriend, and her father.     Ridiculous counterclaim by defendants dismissed.

$1000 to plaintiff.  (I would have given him $5,000)

Car Full of Children Headed into Pond-(This is the terrifying case that could have ended up a horrible headline about dead children.)   Plaintiff /dad Danny Williams suing defendant/mom and neighbor Meredith Jackson for car damages. Plaintiff child Mikayla claims defendant child Anna took the keys, started daddy's car, and it went in the pond.    Both children are blaming each other.

Plaintiff father was mowing, had to leave, and asked daughter to move the riding mower into the barn, and car keys were on the key ring.    Car was a 1994 Buick Custom, and it was totaled.   Defendant mother claims plaintiff kid Mikayla was driving the car, and plaintiff father blames defendant daughter Anna.

Plaintiff's story is after the mower moving, the keys were on lanyard on plaintiff daughter's neck, Mikayla Ratley, and defendant daughter Anna grabbed the keys, climbed into the car.   Plaintiff kid crawled in, defendant started the car, and defendant's little brother (kindergarten age) climbed into the car.   Plaintiff kid says defendant kid started the car, and car started rolling, and then defendant and her little jumped out of the moving car out of the window, head first.   Then car went downhill, speeding up, and hit a tree, stopped, and almost went halfway in the pond.

Defendant kid says Mikayla, daughter of plaintiff got the keys, climbed in car, and plaintiff started car, and it started rolling, and Mikayla bailed, and defendant and little brother jumped out the window.

Police showed, parents finally showed, both girls blamed each other.  And the stories are too bizarre to be anything but lies.    I bet all three kids were in the car when the tree stopped them from going in the pond.   I bet it's not the first time the girls drove the car.   Plaintiff wants to gat paid for those adorable rims he put on the car.

$500 to plaintiff.

Fishing for Friends on a Dating App-Plaintiff Charlene Lane suing defendant Thomas Carlson for an unpaid loan, and for defendant not painting her house.    Defendant says says he wasn't dating plaintiff, but just looking for a friend after his divorce.

They met on a dating app. (He's a bigger liar than the litigant kids in the car in pond case).   Defendant borrowed $1700 from plaintiff to pay state of California, and he wrote a check to repay plaintiff for $17.   A week later he gave plaintiff back $1000, and defendant claims he was going to paint her house for the other $700.    He never painted the house.

$700 to plaintiff.   Defendant is trying to blame the plaintiff's witness for the court case, he's a nut.

Dramatic Cyclist Meets Drunk Peddler?!-Plaintiff Jeanette Lewandowski was t-boned by defendant/ a fellow cyclist, Joseph Lindner on a bike path going in the same direction.    Plaintiff attempted to pass defendant on right side (but she says she wasn't going faster), and defendant (plaintiff claims) riding with a bottle of booze and ear buds drove into her.   What difference does it make what defendant had in his backpack?

Plaintiff claims her husband saw everything, but he was ahead of both litigants, and didn't see the accident.   Defendant claims plaintiff was going the opposite direction, and woman was fighting with her husband, and reversed course.   If pliantiff was behind defendant, but not going faster, then the accident didn't happen.

JJ doesn't believe the defendant, and won't believe that maybe he didn't want to go on city streets because of traffic, or just wanted more exercise.    Plaintiff is a total drama queen, and her story is full of holes.

However, the plaintiff's reports to police, and medical are ridiculous, and makes the defendant sound like a hit man for the bicycle mafia.    To me, bike paths are like dog parks, stuff happens.   The plaintiff has zero proof that defendant was impaired.    I wouldn't give her a penny.

Plaintiff gets $1288 for medical out of pocket, and bicycle.

Where There's Smoke...There's More Smoke!-Plaintiff Susan Adbury suing former landlord/defendant Michael LaBriolaover not getting her security deposit back for smoking in the 1-bedroom apartment of a triplex she rented from him.   She's also suing for harassment.

Landlord has an estimate to deodorize the room for $810.   Signed lease says no smoking, but plaintiff's daughter was smoking in the apartment.  Security deposit was $850.  Plaintiff claims her daughter only smoked one cigarette in the apartment.  (The looks the defendant gives when plaintiff tells her ridiculous lies are hysterical.).  Landlord will be lucky if the smoke smell is totally gone.

 $40 to plaintiff.

Petri Dish for Scammers-Plaintiff Stefanie Reinheimer suing defendant Tarah DeFrang for defamation, false claims, and libel.    Defendant has a gifting group on Facebook (not a charity at all).   Defendant was fired two years ago, but hasn't worked since, and is trying to get on disability, but then says it's an unlawful termination suit she's filed.

Plaintiff claims defendant told the giver's group not to give plaintiff any more money, because she's a scammer.   Plaintiff wanted people to give her money for new contact lenses, and glasses for fiance, and asked the giving group for money.

Defendant has the giving group posting, but it doesn't ask for money.  Someone sent $60 for contacts, to plaintiff.    Plaintiff wanted money for dog's vet bills, and she had a GoFundMe for that's still active (raised $110). And someone paid the vet $500.    Defendant posted that Stephanie Reinheimer is a scammer.   I wonder who shelled out for the microbladed brows?

JJ calls plaintiff a scammer too.

Case dismissed.

Pit Bull Rescue Wreaks Havoc...of Course-Plaintiff  Elizabeth Rogers suing defendant/former tenant Colin Harvey  for damages when he was watching her vicious pit bull.    Plaintiff's pit bull bit a few people.   Dog is supposed to be walked in a muzzle, plaintiff claims does wear a muzzle, and defendant says that's a lie.

Plaintiff had to pay bills for dog attack that happened when she was at work, and defendant was working at home, and let the dog escape.    Plaintiff says defendant stole drugs from her, and he was repaying her by dog sitting.   Dog was tied outside, and broke, or chewed through the rope, and attacked a dog.  Plaintiff wants defendant to pay her fines, and vet bills for the other dog.

Case dismissed. Despicable plaintiff kicked out by the wonderful Officer Byrd.

You'll Get Dizzy from All the Lying-Plaintiff Stephanie Wishart wants defendant Jennifer Frangapane to pay for an iPhone, and iPad, cancellation fees.     The two became friends at work, defendant had bad credit, and plaintiff put her on Verizon account, financing both devices.     $1684 was the cost of the devices, and defendant promised to pay monthly.

The two had a fight at work, over some loser boyfriend.   Then plaintiff told defendant to pay it off in the next 60 days.      Plaintiffs neck and chest are now hideously red and blotchy.     60 days aren't up,    Defendant claims she dropped the devices at work for plaintiff to pick up, and they disappeared, so she doesn't want to pay for them.

Defendant told to call the workplace, and find out if anyone has the devices, and claims the manager, Laura has them in a safe at work.   Then the story is changed, and defendant now says Laura wasn't involved, and they weren't locked in the safe.   Plaintiff is asking for payment for the iPhone, iPad, and cancellation fees, $1680.

$1295 to plaintiff.

Clueless Mechanic or Clever Thief?-Plaintiff Jeff Stevens suing former mechanic James Minard for stealing his truck.   Defendant worked on truck in June, and a while later the plaintiff was driving truck and was hit head on by another driver, and truck was towed.   Plaintiff claims mechanic received his truck, but later claimed he doesn't have it.     Plaintiff claims defendant said on the phone that he had the truck, and there is a text that defendant will finish the work on the truck soon.

$2200 for plaintiff, truck can't be found.

When Exotic Cats Attack-Plaintiff/ (cat owner of Abyssinian) Adriene Puech suing defendant/ (dog owner) Barbara Dubbs for injuries to her cat when it attacked defendant’s leashed dog, and dog nailed cat. Plaintiff wants pain and suffering, attack on the cat,    Dog owner was walking on the public street, when cat attacked, and dog grabbed the cat in it's mouth.    Plaintiff's witness is neighbor's son, heard the attack, and rescued the cat from the dog.

Defendant says cat was under the owner's car, and attacked the dog (there is a witness to this, Gloria Reyes), dog owner was pulled down, and injured by the dog pulling, and says cat scratched her leg.   Plaintiff witness thinks cats belongs wandering freely (I think he's a loon), and he claims that keeping a cat from wandering causes stress to the cat.     Cat was euthanized, cat owner can pay for that.

Defendant wants medical bills.   Plaintiff alleges in a nasty letter to defendant claiming defendant's dogs were vicious, and had been banned from several places for aggressive behavior, and biting.   Defendant denies this.

$287 is the co-pay for defendant, and she gets that.   Defendant had multiple cat scratches on quite a few places on her body, and a high risk of infection. Since they didn't know the cat's rabies status, so she was going to get rabies shots pending discovery of cat.

Defendant gets her medical bills paid, $287, and pain and suffering, a total of $$1,000.

Off to the Races-Plaintiff Sandra Kitchener suing defendant Daniel Mortensen for unpaid loan, sexual harassment, and other stuff.   Defendant claims the $5000 was an investment in his race team, in return for 25% of the winnings.

However, defendant admits he has written contract with the race car drivers, race tracks, etc. that he had no written contract with plaintiff.

$5,000 to plaintiff.

My Yard is Not Your Pet's Bathroom!-Plaintiff Kirk and Julie Fonoimoana suing defendant/neighbor  Mark York (two houses down) defendant over property damage from dog, defendant only fesses up, after video shown.    There is a lot of damage to the yard from dog urine.   The harassment by the defendant started after plaintiffs were granted a TRO against the next door neighbor (neighbor is the defendant's witness), between the litigants' houses.

Plaintiffs have a Ring doorbell video of the off-leash dog nailing the yard.    There are numerous still photos of the defendant and his dog on the plaintiff's property.

My guess is that next door neighbor the plaintiffs have a TRO against, and dog walker are buddies, and he's helping the witness/neighbor harass them.   As JJ says, one dog nails a yard, then others will too, and the defendant knew that, and the neighbor with the TRO against them knew that.

My guess is the next door neighbor, and the dog owner will never stop, and plaintiffs need to move if they can.

$2.045 to plaintiffs, to repair the lawn.

Speeding Away with Identity Theft!?-Plaintiff Christopher True suing defendant Jarkel Fanning for warrant issued for speeding ticket received by defendant, and defendant was using plaintiff’s I.D.    Defendant borrowed plaintiff's ID, because he loses his ID all of the time.    Defendant used the plaintiff's ID when he received a speeding ticket, driving 56 in a 35 mph zone.

A warrant was issued for the plaintiff, and he was arrested in the TSA line at the Atlanta airport (he works at the airport).       Plaintiff couldn't work at the airport until the case was cleared up.

$1000 for the plaintiff.

Bleachtastic Break-Up-Plaintiff Tyquan Malloy suing defendant ex-girlfriend, Inijah Burwell for false police report (he was detained for about 10 minutes, and released), allegations of assault, property damage, and defamation of character.

Defendant claims plaintiff poured bleach in her face, and on her clothes, while she was behind him, which is against the law of physics.        Defendant claims he had her in a headlock, but she was behind him, so that's total garbage.   Defendant claims plaintiff poured bleach around, all over both litigants, then claims plaintiff poured bleach on her face, down her throat, and on her clothes.     Plaintiff claims defendant was swinging a machete too.   (This happened in Albany, NY)

Plaintiff claims that defendant wanted him to make her hot chocolate, and he didn't make stuff fast enough for her, and told him to leave.    He started packing, and called a friend for a ride, then she attacked him, and lied to the police.  Police reports says both litigants were treated for bleach exposure.    Defendant claims she had third degree burns to her eyes (more garbage).

Plaintiff and defendant cases dismissed.

Auburn Football Lights It Up-Plaintiff  Margaret Hines suing defendant/hair dresser Velinda Wims-Davis for chemical burns to scalp, and was treated at urgent care the next day, suing for $3,000.

Plaintiff claims perm/relaxer bleach was on her scalp, under the dryer for almost three hours.    Hairdresser neutralized solution, and claims nothing was her fault.    Defendant claims plaintiff came in to the salon several days earlier, than plaintiff says.       Plaintiff claims she was under the dryer for 1 hour 20 minutes, and I find that unbelievable.

I think the hairdresser was correct, and the woman and the husband came to the salon days earlier, and then plaintiff did something to her hair that caused the burns.   Someone in serious pain from perming, etc. isn't going to wait two days to go back to the salon, and urgent care.    Defendant has the original appointment book, but plaintiff came in on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.  Subpoena said plaintiff went to urgent care on the 26th, two days after plaintiff claims her hair was burned, but six days after defendant's records say the procedure happened.   Defendant also says plaintiff called her on the 26th, and neutralized the hair again, and says plaintiff says her hair felt fine.

(I wonder if the timeline was what the defendant says, and if the plaintiff had her perm, and then went home and tried to dye it right after?   My understanding is that this can cause all kinds of issues with the chemical combinations used for both procedures.)

(The Auburn-Alabama aka the Iron Bowl game is the Saturday after Thanksgiving, and  is pretty much a holiday throughout the South.    A rabid fan wouldn't watch it while they're working the way plaintiff said the hair dresser was).

(I don’t believe anything plaintiff said.   She lied about date, the procedure used on her, and all kinds of things.    If she was in so much pain, then she couldn’t have waited two days to go to urgent care, or to the ER.   Chemical burns would have had her sent to the ER immediately).

$3,000 for plaintiff.   (My view is plaintiff deserved nothing, I would have given defendant the money instead, for damage to her business reputation.)

Girlfriend Vandal Hacks Into Lover's Phone-Plaintiff Melvin Clinton claims his ex girlfriend/defendant Raven Stuart went through his phone, found out he was texting with other women, and claims defendant vandalized two cars on the same day.   One of the women is having his baby.    The same day defendant sent nasty text to plaintiff, the car vandalism happened the same day. (This happened in Kansas City, MO)

First car on one day had smashed windows, and when he drove the second car to her house he says she threw a brick through the windshield.  Defendant claims plaintiff tried to hit her with a brick, missed and broke his own car windshield.

$3785 to plaintiff.

South African Carpet Theft-Plaintiff Christopher Hopkins suing defendant/ex-girlfriend and live-in  Leona Hamphill for return of belongings.  Plaintiff wants his handmade South African carpet back.

Defendant claims he took the carpet.   Plaintiff says after defendant tossed him out, he had to get a locksmith to open the new lock on defendant's door, and claims landlady told him to leave.   JJ calls the landlady, and she tells JJ she only let him take his clothes, and no furniture or rugs, and then landlady changed the locks.

Defendant changes her testimony from her sworn statement.  Defendant keeps trying to bring up a trip to Africa he backed out on.  In her statement defendant wrote that she didn't feel comfortable meeting the mother of his child, and the child in Africa, and she says she cancelled.

$3,106 to plaintiff.  Sadly, that rug isn't replaceable.      If the defendant was a decent person, she would have returned his rug.

Coin Throwing Road Rage Stunt-Plaintiff Coryene Reyes is suing defendant Jacob Couch for a road rage incident where he harassed her, and her nine-year-old child, and damaged her car.    When they stopped at a light, defendant male started throwing handfuls of coins, some coins hit the plaintiff in the face, she tried to take a picture of his license plate, and he tried to knock the phone out of plaintiff's hand.

She asked girlfriend if she wanted a ride home, and she did.      Plaintiff also told defendant teen girlfriend to get in her car for safety, and she did.     The girlfriend is 16, and he's 18.   (Plaintiff was driving in separate cars from her husband, and Jacob Couch passed both of them)

(Tacky personal note, did both defendants get their eyebrows done at the same place?   They look identical)

Defendant/ teen witness was going to be late for a therapy appointment, and I suspect it was mandated therapy, and not physical.    Defendant said he was with girlfriend at his place, and having fun, and in a hurry for witness to get home (girl is 16, and mother had to take her to therapy), when the road rage happened.      Plaintiff said this happened at 12:42 p.m., and 45 minutes from defendant girlfriend's house, and appointment was at 1 p.m.

As JJ says, why would someone who didn't feel threatened take a ride home with a stranger?   Defendant girlfriend claims the aggressor was the plaintiff.  Police dropped in to talk about the incident with Jacob Crouch.    Whiny defendant says plaintiff harassed him on Facebook.

Plaintiff receives $1500 for her chipped windshield from the coins hitting it.

(Someday Jacob will pull this stunt on the wrong person, and it's not going to go well for him).

(I'm laughing at the hall-terview, where Jacob Couch is crying like a two-year-old, sitting on the loser's bench in the hall.  With the added amusement of his girlfriend telling him to stop it, and someone handing him a lot of tissues.).

Family Business Bust!-Plaintiff,/an unlicensed contractor, Gage Johnson is suing defendant /(mother) Tessa Johnson and (sister) Marina Johnson  for fraud, and misappropriation of funds from his construction business.    He actually lives and works in Dallas, and was picking up jobs in Spokane.   Plaintiff claims the sister took his iPhone 8+, and a tablet.    Plaintiff had job in Spokane, was paid about $10k, and never finished job, and received four citations for unlicensed contractor work.

Case dismissed, neither side is truthful.   ( Note to defendant mom, crying requires tears.  With that area of Texas having a building boom, why is he commuting to work in Washington? ).

Property Thrown Down Snow Bank!-Plaintiff/home seller Sheri Hanson suing defendants/ house buyers Christina and Jeremy Wickman for damage and destruction of property left in in house after the sale.  Plaintiff sold house to defendants, and there was no pre-closing walk through.      Plaintiff left belongings in the house, and was shocked that they got rid of it after closing.

Defendant woman says they had a verbal agreement to keep the property in the house until 1 February, and because of the hideously cold weather (48 below), he put her stuff outside, to get his property inside.    By 2 February the stuff was outside.   Has the plaintiff ever heard of climate-controlled storage?

However, plaintiff wants $5k for her stuff, and claims she left two TVs, a $1200 snow blower.    Defendants are suing for damaged carpets, and breach of contract.    Countersuit dismissed, except U-Haul rental for an extra day.

$1500 to plaintiff, minus $40 to defendants for their U-Haul rental for an extra day.  (I wouldn't have given plaintiff a penny, house closing date is final, and she could have had movers pack and load her stuff on the U-Haul January 30th, and kept it on the truck until she could move into her next house.  The best part of this case is the show pays the awards).

Don't Mix Business with Pleasure-Plaintiff Rani Simpson is suing defendant/ex-boyfriend and co-worker Paul Stubbs for unpaid loans.    Plaintiff made miscellaneous loans to defendant/co-worker/ex-boyfriend, for work related items for business trip expenses (food, gas, lodging).  Defendant has a lot of excuses, but plaintiff has a text from him stating he owes her $900, plus a further loan, and claims he has proof he paid her back $230, leaving $810 owning to plaintiff.

$810 to plaintiff, and nothing to defendant.

Identity Theft Between Cousins-Plaintiff/cousin  Charlene Jennings suing defendant/cousin Khadija Royal for plane ticket, hair, stolen clothes for $.    Plaintiff wants money for plane ticket, something about hair, stolen clothes, and then the fireworks start in court with defendant cousin.

Defendant suing for identity theft.   Defendant claims plaintiff was pulled over in her car, while defendant was in Jamaica, and she was later notified that she received a ticket, but alleges it was the plaintiff driving, and she used her name.

Everything dismissed, and JJ thinks it was just a money grab by at least the defendant.    JJ tels the women to exchange the borrowed clothes.

  Andi Epstein Lawrence Diehl

Malicious Forest Fire Eviction-Plaintiff (annoying tenant) Andi Epstein and her equally annoying boyfriend Lawrence Diehl are suing defendant/ landlords Alexander and Sara Kriss for unlawful eviction, and security deposit of $3650.   Apparently, it must be a pre-Halloween filming since female plaintiff is wearing a billowing Pumpkin colored shirt.    They were renting in Ventura, CA, for a year.  The property is now rented, but to new tenants.

Prior to the end of the year lease, the plaintiffs were served with a notice that defendants didn't intend to extend their lease (a 60-day notice issued two months before lease was to expire).   They were evicted in December, and moved in February.

Plaintiffs were planning on moving in mid-December (time of lease expiration), and alternate houses were no longer available because of forest fires.    Defendants considered the plaintiffs annoying tenants.   Plaintiffs want $3600 security back. The lease specifies that tenants will pay the eviction fees, and allege other damages.   Defendant says interior damages weren't noted until the plaintiffs moved out.  Attorney fees were $1390.

Plaintiff wants money for negative mold test, and called the housing department several times.

$2300 to plaintiffs for the security depost, this is minus the attorney fees for the defendants.    (I find this ridiculous, plaintiffs were told 60 days before expiration of lease that they would not have their lease renewed.   They didn't move out, so they were evicted.  They overstayed the lease, so I would have given the entire security deposit to the defendant)

I Didn't Become a Judge to Retrieve Your Toothbrush-Plaintiff Bridgiette Lucas suing defendant/former roommate Danyel Gibson for illegal lockout, property, and other garbage.  Then had a scuffle about something at work, and started arguing.  After telling plaintiff to leave, defendant says plaintiff broke in the back door, and the back window, plaintiff confirms she did this.  (Plaintiff says "Tooken" a lot, I really dislike her).

Defendant tried to get a protective order against plaintiff.    Defendant says on the day of the fight plaintiff took a bunch of stuff, leaving bed and clothes, she came a got other things by breaking into the back door.

$998 to defendant for door, and window, and nothing for the plaintiff.

Dance Business Fail-Plaintiff /(rents a commercial space, and sublets to other businesses) Melinda Humbert is suing defendant/dance instructor Brittney Graham for failure to pay rent for dance studio ($1430), lock changing fee, and cleaning fee.

As usual, defendant claims she paid cash, and never had receipts from plaintiff.   Defendant claims she paid all of the rent, and her co-signer on the lease didn't.  Plaintiff claims defendant paid partial rent.    The contract says that the security deposit was actually added to lease, so it's more than the cost of the unpaid rent, and cleaning.

Plaintiff case dismissed, defendant left a dance floor behind, and she can forget getting paid for that too.   I didn't like either litigant in this case.  (Defendant later opened another dance studio).

Judge Judy Vents About Child Abuse-Plaintiff Meredith Henderson suing defendant/ex-boyfriend Clifford Corbinfor the cost of laptop computer, and lost wages.   They have one child together, and plaintiff has an older child too.   Defendant has the one with plaintiff, and four other children, but no job.

Plaintiff had two paid off cars, let defendant drive car, and in exchange he was going to give her the laptop.    One child is $300 a month child support, the other three are not supported, and he puts the dead in deadbeat dad.    Of course, defendant's paying nothing on the fifth child with the plaintiff.

Too bad, the plaintiff seems like a reasonably intelligent person, except with the defendant's bad prior record of non-support of four other kids.

$2,000 to plaintiff.

Fear of Miscarriage Doesn't Stop Dog Lover-Plaintiff Alexandria Ramirez suing defendant/father of her two children Adrian Hill for damages to her RV, and return of her dog. Plaintiff woman has terrible taste in sperm donors, since she had one child with ex-boyfriend, and is pregnant by him again.

She's suing the jerky ex over damage to an RV she let him move into after they split, and she wants her dog back.  Jerky ex filed for a restraining order, but didn't show up in court, and he wasn't in the country that day.

There is a restraining order in place requiring defendant to stay 100 yards away from plaintiff, and the dog.   Restraining order was filed by defendant, but he didn't show up in court so he lost.

Plaintiff went to pick up dog, and fighting started with defendant, police were called, she had pregnancy issues and went to the hospital.    After the hospital plaintiff saw her dog in another unlocked car, (with defendant and one of his idiot friends), they fought again, and she went back to the hospital again.

RV rental was $300 a month, but defendant didn't pay. RV looks disgusting, inside and out.     What a freak show this case is!

Plaintiff gets nothing, and deserves even less.   Defendant gets nothing, and doesn't have the brains the Good Lord gave a chicken.

Soul Food Sister Shuffle-Plaintiffs/two partners Fredia Peoples and Richelle Harvey, are suing defendant/third partnerJenny Nahas for lost wages, supplies Plaintiff and defendant were partners in Three Sisters, (there are three partners, two are plaintiffs)  plaintiffs are suing defendant over proceeds from cooking/catering business, supplies, and lost wages, $856.

They had a booth at a food fair, but only plaintiffs did the work.  Ms. Harvey received $120 from defendant, and Ms. Peoples received zero.  Defendant claims she agreed with Ms. Harvey to cut Ms. Peoples out, and continue the business without Ms. Peoples.

Plaintiff gets her share, $120,  and the business is over.

Dog Abuse vs. Puppy Deaths?!-Disgusting plaintiff/ breeder Julie Terrell says she didn't get pick of litter, and is suing disgusting defendant Irene Waterbury who is accused of having six puppies dying in her care, for two puppies.   The defendant raises tons of American Bullies (not AKC by the way), and has tons of dogs on her property.   Defendant has 22 dogs, plaintiff only has one dog.  Defendant claims boyfriend of plaintiff physically abused the dog, but defendant had a lot of dead dogs.

Plaintiff gets two puppies.    Smart mouthed defendant needs a Byrd boot up her butt, and so does the plaintiff.

High Kick to Antique Dresser?!-Plaintiff Ariel Roga suing former landlord Hector Ruberto for return of security deposit, emotional distress, etc after room rental went bad.   Plaintiff claims he never really moved in, paid security deposit $750.    Plaintiff gets pro-rated rent, and security deposit back.

$1450 for plaintiff.

Show Me Proof of Internal Bruising!-Plaintiff Alisia Harry  and defendants Stephanie Lewis and Yasmin Icedo rented an apartment together, and plaintiff is suing for lease breaking fees, assault, cleaning fees, unpaid rent, and a false restraining order.   Things went very badly, and defendants are sued for lease breaking fee, assault, etc.

Defendant claims she had internal bruising from an assault, without proof.    There are also extensive cleaning fees, one month unpaid rent by the defendants, and everyone in this case seems like a royal pain in the fanny.

Don't Pee on my Leg and Tell Me It's Raining-Plaintiff/marina owner Earl McHugh suing defendant/another boat owner Miles Miller for hitting his parked pontoon boat.   However, the second pontoon boat was parked in the canal, not the dock.   Plaintiff claims defendant hit his pontoon boat, that was tied up to the sea wall, not the actual sheltered moorings.      Defendant says he didn't hit the plaintiff's boat.

Plaintiff claims defendant asked him to not file a police report, but defendant denies this also.   Plaintiff waited 90 days to file police report.   Plaintiff's witness, JoeSelvaggio,  is the co-owner of the marina.   Second plaintiff witness Tamara Canady, who also works at the marina for plaintiff,  has no evidence to prove she called the marina owners about the accident.

Plaintiff partner accused defendant of hitting the boat, and defendant says boat was parked on the sea wall, and not in a slip where it would be safer.    Police wasn't filed for two months after the alleged incdient.

Case dismissed without prejudice, because JJ thinks the plaintiff has zero evidence.

Dog Mauling Caught on Tape-Plaintiff /small dog owner Stephanie Rosenquist suing defendants/ neighbors (father) Bruce Eldred and (daughter) Stephanie Liedenschel for vet bills, pain and suffering, and harassment after plaintiff dog escaped their fence, and defendant's dog mauled plaintiff's Jack Russell terrier.

There is video of the attack, but it shows the attack happening in the street, not on plaintiff's property.   Jeff Hamilton is plaintiff witness, and plaintiff's boyfriend.  He's the one with eight surveillance cameras around his trailer.

Video shows plaintiff's dog escaping the fence, wandering on the road, going around the defendant's trailer, back onto the road, where the attacking dog attacked the plaintiff's dog.     Plaintiff and witness claim defendant daughter stepped outside of her trailer, looked at the fight and went right back inside her trailer.

Plaintiff's dog was euthanized from injuries the same day.    Defendant dog was going to be quarantined for 14 days, and was put down later, because the defendants couldn't afford the fines, and bills.     Defendants are counter suing for having to euthanize their dog.

Case dismissed.

Cruising Online Crush -Plaintiff Phillip Hubbard III suing former girlfriend/defendant Patricia Marumbio for payment for her part of a cruise.  Plaintiff and defendant met on Plenty of Fish, and booked a cruise together.

Plaintiff is suing for cruise expenses, because after the refund/cancellation period, they broke up, and defendant never paid for the cruise.  Defendant claims she thought they should be exclusive, but was upset that plaintiff didn't want to be exclusive.  Defendant claims they never discussed her paying her way.

Plaintiff gets nothing.   He had no expectation of repayment.

Defendant proceeded to make a lying vicious complaint to the Better Business Bureau, and then slander the contractor and BBB online.     When JJ reads what the woman posted, it's disgusting, vicious, and rotten.

Online postings by defendant claims plaintiff stole two thousand dollars, and claims he reported her to codes inspectors for the city.    Defendant hired someone else for $6300, and that's what the original contractor/plaintiff said it would cost her.    Plaintiff says city inspector called him, after defendant contacted the inspector.

Blind Chef Scammed by Employer-Plaintiff Chef Sherman Winn Jr suing defendant/former employer Frederick Norman for unpaid wages.    State of Arkansas paid defendant for hiring disabled employees and training them, he was also paid for providing transportation.    Plaintiff was actually working for free for defendant, but defendant received $12,000 from state for the $1,000 he paid plaintiff.    Defendant is paid $7k per employee for the training they give them, and then they get $3k more.   The defendant non-profit is for training them to work in the restaurant run by the non-profit (SW Chance Inc is the non-profit name), by the state of Arkansas.

Plaintiff was paid $1300+ for the entire year in salary, but the state paid defendant over 10 times that.   All of the employees transported worked at the same restaurant.   Restaurant owner stopped paying plaintiff for the last 4 to 6 months he worked in the restaurant.

Defendant was paid over $40k, but only paid the three employees $4,000 total.   (How can defendant get away with this? )

$5,000 to plaintiff

All Aboard Excuse Central-Plaintiffs Carrie Westfall and Robert McAllister are suing defendant Jeremiah Leamer for unpaid loan to buy a motorcycle, for $4500, but plaintiff kept $1,000 herself.

McAllister and Leamer worked together, and Leamer actually lived together for a while, Westfall didn't know Leamer before this.

Defendant claims he repaid the loan in cash, and has no receipts.    Plaintiff Westfall didn't pay on the loan herself, but just paid when the defendant paid her.  Defendant paid $2406, from the $3500 loan.

$1.094 is owed on the loan, and that's what plaintiff Westfall gets.

Siblings Nasty Text Battle- Plaintiff Deborah Bettes suing defendants/estranged brother James Landford, and his daughter Pacsha Landford for Kindle charges she didn't authorize, that were on her account.

Plaintiff left home at 16, moved away, and they were friendly for the last 10 years, after she moved back to the home area.  Rototiller she's suing for was several years ago, and she's not getting that back.   Niece downloaded with plaintiff's permission, but she told her only free books.   Three overdrafts cost plaintiff $35 for overdraft fees.

However, plaintiff's withdrawals amounted to $130 which is a lot more than the three books, and did the overdraft herself, and that was a long time before the niece bought the e-books.

Defendant brother filed for a restraining order against plaintiff, after she sent nasty texts, and threats to kill him.     Defendant thought plaintiff got the point, and dropped the restraining order, it was also against plaintiff's daughter, and another relative.   Plaintiff has to get a nasty crack about defendant having restraining orders against him, and other rotten cracks.

Case dismissed, and defendant keeps the roto-tiller. False restraining order claim dismissed, because of plaintiff's threats to her brother.   Hall-terview statements from plaintiff proves she's a very nasty person.

Learn How to Pack a Box-Plaintiff Carlene Mahoney was moving from her residence, and she's suing defendant / mover Joseph Buccoleri for stealing items, and bad moving.

Plaintiff not sure when she moved, stiffed the landlord for January's rent, and someone else paid for her move.    Movers took her stuff, and moved it into storage.

Mover says she packed items herself, and packed food in boxes, attracting rats.        Plaintiff move was paid for by social services.

Plaintiff case dismissed.

4 p.m. episodes-

Disappearing Dog-Plaintiff Gabrielle Humphrey suing defendants/former landlords Vivian Del Toro (wife)and Andres Del Toro (husband) for $1500 security deposit (landlords swear they only charged $500 security).

Defendant/landlords want pet deposit, but plaintiff says a dog was on the premises for only an hour, on one day.   $1,000 for pet deposit was not paid. Plaintiff wants $1500 back, but $1k was pet deposit she never paid and claims she never owed. (I hope that's clear, it's very confusing).  $5619 is what defendant claims were the damages from plaintiff.

Defendant Vivian says dog was in the home from the end of April through July.

Plaintiff is claiming for $1000 pet deposit, but she never paid that, and there is proof of a $500 security, and $1,000 first month's rent.

JJ wants to see pictures of damages.  JJ dismisses the damages.

However, plaintiff claims she moved out on 1 September because her grandmother died, but her grandmother died a week later.  Defendants allege plaintiff property was in house for almost a month after she claims she moved out.

(On a shallow note, all of the litigants have lovely hair, and are well dressed, a truly exceptional day for litigants on this show).

Plaintiff receives $500, defendant case dismissed.

Divorce Drama- Plaintiff Nicole Keltz suing defendant/ex Daniel Morgan for property she left behind when she moved out.    Plaintiff moved in to take care of ex after a stroke (yes, another 'care giver'), and worked as a home caregiver.    They finally had a fight, he told her to leave, and she claims he moved another woman in.  (the children with ex have lived much of their teen years with grandparents, not plaintiff).

Plaintiff and her boyfriend came to the defendant's house, (in between boyfriend staying with baby mama).      Defendant says their oldest son came with a truck and picked all of her stuff up.

Case dismissed, because plaintiff is a big liar, and got bleeped in the hall-terview.

Motorcycle Money Man-Plaintiff William Tongbought a motorcycle from defendant David Ramirez, and motorcycle has been resold by defendant to someone else.  Motorcycle was $14k total.   Plaintiff had paid $3300.

Plaintiff gets $3300.

Horse Killed While Fleeing Hungry Bear-Plaintiffs/(car driver and daughter of car owner) Crystal Hall, and (mother/car owner) Joyce Hall  hit a horse with her car, and are suing defendant/horse owner Sarah Monteith for car damages. Plaintiff driver and her mother, are suing defendant for damage from defendant's horse damaging the car, and killing the horse.     Defendant claims her horse broke through the fence when being chased by a bear.   (This happened in Clinton, NC)

However, plaintiff mother claims horse was often on the road, and there are police reports supporting that.    Plaintiff charges dismissed for unlicensed driver stoned daughter, for unclean hands.        Plaintiff daughter is obviously impaired in court, as JJ says after she boots daughter.

Defendant says unlicensed driver was impaired, and is obviously drunk or high in court.   There is proof that the daughter has three DUI convictions already, and lives alone with her 7 and 11 year old children.

Defendant has proof of license revoked citation, and claims plaintiff daughter saw many animals on the road (there was actually only the one horse), and has driven without a license with her defenseless children in the car.

Cases dismissed.

Bad Barter Deal-Plaintiffs Tina and David Lacey suing defendant/former tenant Randall Graybill for rent, water bill, lock changing and cleaning fees.

Defendant and plaintiffs agreed that defendant would do work on the house.   Defendant claims he moved out in September, and plaintiff claims he left many possessions behind in the house until November, and the house is trashed.

JJ says she would have trashed the man's stuff, and defendant claims he'll come and get his stuff.     Utilities were still in plaintiffs' names.

Plaintiffs get $250, because they have no proof of how much clean up would cost.

Empty Pockets in Australia-Plaintiff Jarod Campbell suing former friend Colin Copeland for unpaid loan while they were on a trip to Australia.     Defendant ran out of money, and borrowed money from plaintiff, $800.  As usual, defendant says it was a gift, and plaintiff says it was a loan.

 $800 for plaintiff.

Bait Shop Sign Slam-Plaintiff /sign maker Sam Salameh received $1,000 from the defendant, Angel Robertson, and no additional payments, and she also gave him a check that bounced. He's suing for unpaid balance, tax, and bank fees.  There was no signed contract, but verbal agreement was for $1800 total.

$825 to plaintiff.

Flirting and House Painting-Plaintiff Carol Day gave defendant J.P. Daniel Atello money for painting equipment, in return for him doing more painting for her.   Painter claims it only became a loan after he turned down her advances.

$1200 for plaintiff.

Pills, Horses and Gambling-Plaintiff Josh Flavin suing defendant Breanna Hendrickson for unpaid rent, due to defendant's (alleged) gambling and pill spending, and expenses for her three horses.

There's a voice message from defendant acknowledging owing almost $900, and she can't recall why she would say that.

$800 to plaintiff.  (Defendant exits towards the side wall of the courtroom. That's not a door).

Endangered Children and Rescue Dogs-Plaintiff/ renter Brittney Elzarou is paying to expand the house, and needed the former carport roofed, and she's suing defendant / handyman Marcelino Zavala, for a bad roofing job.   Plaintiff claims the bad roofing endangered her children, and dogs, and wants payments for vet and medical bills, and roofing damages.

Plaintiff claims the roofing job endangered and injured her dogs and kids from nails and other debris left in the yard.    The carport was walled in and turned into a guest house, and plaintiff claims the landlords let her do the conversion and roofing.   Plaintif runs an animal rescue, at the rental home, and keeps multiple rescue dogs there.

This is a flat roof, on an apparently not well made former carport, converted to an ADU,  so I'm not surprised it has big issues.  Roofer has a lot of excuses, but he shouldn't have been roofing anything.      I wonder if landlord authorized the roofing job, as plaintiff claims they did.  Plaintiff says roof started leaking within days of the roofing job.

Plaintiff gets $1,000 back.   Damages are thrown out.    Her $1900 roof wasn't worth it, and she should get a real roofer next time, and for a lot more money.

(When you get your house reroofed, you get a magnet on a pole at the home improvement store, and walk around picking up nails every day.)

Apprentice Plumber Bailout-Plaintiff Glen Fullerton suing former friend Joseph Ciampa for two unpaid loans.  Defendant borrowed twice from the plaintiff.    Defendant was living in condo with the plaintiff, paid no rent, and claims cleaning the condo is the same as paying rent.

4 p.m. episodes-

Rapper Repair?-Plaintiff Vernon Jaeschke bought flipped car (originally cost $1150, and resold $4950 after doing a lot of work on it, it had a salvage title) from mechanic/defendant, Christopher Syrrakos, and then spent $4000+ trying to fix it up to register it.     Plaintiff wants $4,000+ back on the car from defendant.

Defendant is also a rap producer.  TItle clearly states it was a salvaged vehicle, and plaintiff claims car can't be registered, and licensed in Wisconsin.    To be registered the car has to have a safety inspection in Wisconsin, to get a clear title, and register/license the car.     The inspection doesn't sound that awful, and everything he needs is available.

Defendant has photos of the unrepaired vehicle, and he will send them to the plaintiff.  Receipts for all repair parts over $500 will go to plaintiff, or a statement from defendant stating that no parts cost $500 or over.   Plaintiff needs to do the inspections, statement, and pay a fees to get the car reregistered and the salvage statement taken off.   Defendant will give the required statements and photos to plaintiff.    Defendant is counterclaiming for vehicle storage fees, and lost wages for coming to court. Defendant case dismissed.

Case dismissed.  (Plaintiff just won't stop whining, and trying to get money, and he can forget it).

Begging for Money-Plaintiff Kimberly Camello suing defendants Gina and Steven Davis for repayment of a loan to save her business.  Plaintiff only loaned money to Gina Davis, but has documentation with both defendants names on it, so both defendants are the parties to sue.   Loan was for $7,900, as an advance on plaintiff's credit card.

Plaintiff made a loan to save her business to defendant, and defendant paid nothing back, and claims a lot of it wasn't a loan, but a campaign contribution to her husband's campaign.

Plaintiff gets $5000, the court limit, and that still doesn't make the plaintiff whole.

The $18,000 Signature-Plaintiff Diana Kempton suing defendant/long divorced husband Robert Kempton over defrauding her over an insurance policy, theynegotiated over an insurance policy, to terminate it.  Defendant (who is an insurance agent), offered $18,000 for the spousal release for the insurance policy.  Then, plaintiff signed the spousal release, in return for $18,500.   Defendant only sent $12,500.

Defendant tried to alter the agreement after it was fully executed.    I can certainly see why they're divorced, and why the plaintiff didn't just sign the spousal release for free.

Plaintiff receives $5,000, leaving her $1,000 short.

Teen Test Drive Disaster-Plaintiffs/ Timothy Laizure (father and co-owner) and Nicholas Laizure (son and co-owner) are suing defendant/former friend Joseph Rodriguez   for tow and impound fees, and for crashing a mustang (2001 Mustang Coupe) the son drove.

Defendant was planning on buying the car, took it for a test drive, was thinking about buying the car, and had an accident.  Defendant couldn't pay for car yet, because he had tickets, and court bills to pay.   Car was towed, and impounded.

Plaintiff father, car owner, didn't contact the tow company after the accident,   $239 to plaintiff

Neighbor Resorts to Stockade Privacy Protection-Plaintiff Virginia "Ginger" Lela suing defendants/ neighbors Edward and Marion Hernandez because they took down privacy fence between properties,  and cost to replace fence.   Defendants say fence had a bunch of plaintiff's junk piled against it, and fence was leaning over their property.   Picture shows the fence and a huge cactus leaning on their property.    Base of fence was also cemented in on defendant's property.

Defendants say plaintiff came on their roof, and painted their chimney, it was white, but plaintiff painted it into fake bricks.    However, after the chimney painting, defendant gave a few gifts to plaintiff (they were trying to keep things civil).    Plaintiff later took down 50 feet of chain link fence on defendant's property.

Encroaching fence was on the defendant's property, but plaintiff maintained the yard next to it for 28 years, so it was adverse possession.    Plaintiff just put up another fence, on both sides of her property.

Defendant wife says plaintiff hosed her down on her own property, and defendant had to get a restraining order.  You know if the old bat fell off of that ladder, she would have sued the defendants for every penny.   (If anyone wonders why you use sun block, look at the plaintiff, she's a walking advertisement for what sun damage does to you).

I hope defendants do sell it for a halfway house, or operate one there themselves.    They will never be able to sell with the adverse possession of plaintiff, and her trespassing to a regular home buyer.    When you have to get a restraining order, it's not going to go well with potential buyers.

Both cases dismissed.

Say Sorry to Your Grandmother-Plaintiff/ grandmother Suzanne Frazier suing defendant/ grandson Timothy Miller for money owing on a car he purchased from her (it was late husband's car).        Plaintiff gave grandson a bill of sale that said $100 for the car (for tax and registration purposes), so grandson decided to stop paying the $300 a month car loan.      Defendant still owes $6600 on car, but has title to the car.

Gimme Half of What's in Your Pocket-Plaintiff Tyawll "Ty" Goodfellow suing defendant Darold Gunion for title for motorcycle he bought from defendant, and didn't pay off.         Plaintiff claims a bunch of payments to defendant, but has no receipts.

Defendant had the motorcycle retitled in his name, when plaintiff stopped paying.    Also, some money was from plaintiff to pay for emergency surgery for defendant's dog.

$1470 to defendant to pay bike off, the title is signed so plaintiff can get it registered, and that's the end.  (Dismissed without prejudice, so defendant can take the other $1,000+ to small claims locally).

Snowy Road Sideswipe-Plaintiff  Deanne and Edward Regalado suing defendant Bailey Martin for car damages resulting from a sideswipe accident on a snowy road, where defendant fled the scene.

Defendant is granddaughter of car owner, and was specifically excluded from the insurance coverage, so she was uninsured.    The plaintiff says they were driving opposite directions on a snow-covered road that was narrow because of the snow build up, and defendant squeezed by, and pickup bed hit the plaintiff's car.

Defendant fled the scene, and plaintiffs had to follow her to get the truck license number.   Defendant still thinks that because the grandparents let her drive that the insurance is a non-issue. The damage to plaintiff's car is less than their $2,000 deductible, so that's why they're suing defendant personally.

$1704 to plaintiffs.

Flooding Video Controversy-Plaintiff/tenant Kizzy Miller suing defendant / former landlord Andrew Hybben for damages from basement storage flooding. The judge takes issue with a video supposedly showing thousands of dollars' worth of damages to furniture and toys.

Plaintiff rented first house  with unfinished basement (not living space, just storage), and there were two floods, the first small, and the second a lot of water.  Plaintiff has never had renter's insurance either, she says it's too expensive.  She claims rent is $1200, but renter's insurance is over $300 a month.

Plaintiff is suing for things like a living room set, TV, dining room set, and toys,  she put in the basement.  Plaintiff claims defendant was going to finish the basement, into living space (only if he put in egress windows down stairs).  Plaintiff simply won't shut up.    Plaintiff owed one month's rent, and then moved into a second house with the same landlord.  Plaintiff didn't have renter's insurance.

Plaintiff has bills only for the toys, and for the sofa when it was new.  (She claims she replaces her living room furniture once a year).  Why would someone buy a new TV, and put it on the floor in the basement.     Plaintiff is still in the same house, so it must not be that bad.

JJ must not know about living in snow country, or where there's a lot of rain, not putting the downspout extension down does cause flooded basements, or crawl spaces.  Defendant's son does the maintenance, lawn mowing every two weeks during the season, and he says the downspout extensions are removed every time he mows and he has to put them back.    Sounds deliberate to me.

All of the toys I saw were plastic, and I don't see how they could be damaged.   (I wouldn't have given plaintiff a penny.   Downspout extensions left up causes flooding.   Nothing in that basement was going to be damaged by water, I only saw plastic toys).

Plaintiff says she buys new furniture every year.  How ridiculous!

$1130 to plaintiff, if she doesn't like the house, then MOVE! I now this was filmed years ago, but I hope defendant got her out of his house.  ( I know, I sound like a grouch, but I'm tired of renters claiming all kinds of issues, and then living in the house forever).  Defendant says plaintiff still owes him $2600, and he working on an eviction.

5 p.m. episodes-

Classic Mercedes Mayhem-Plaintiff  Jorge Garcia suing defendant/mechanic and ex-business partner of plaintiff George Brown for car bills for two cars the defendant worked on for the plaintiff.  Plaintiff refuses to pay defendant for what he has put into the cars.  One car is drivable now, but not the other.  Plaintiff claims mechanic/defendant does this all of the time to car owners.

Cars are a 1999, and 1990 Mercedes.  Neither car is insured.

Plaintiff can get the cars, if he wants to, but he moved from Georgia to Utah, so cars won't be picked up, and plaintiff wants to be paid for the cars.  Nothing for either litigant.  (JJ explains to plaintiff again to go pick the cars up.  Then, plaintiff says he'll have defendant arrested. )

Cat Fight Over Cheap Wine-Plaintiff Kendra Thomas is suing defendant Raechrisha Hood for return of rent, belongings, and other junk.   They were roommates, plaintiff left, and plaintiff wants her security back, her December rent, and money for assault on her.  They were fighting over a $3 bottle of wine.  Litigants have been roommates for years, and in several different apartments.

Defendant claims hair ripped out by plaintiff hasn't grown back.  Defendant was evicted for non-payment recently.   No security deposit was remaining after eviction, so that's gone.  Fight happened on December 3rd, and defendant wants doctor bill paid from March over her hair (they gave her antibiotics, nothing to do with her hair).

Counter claim dismissed for defendant, plaintiff $1037 for property.

Landlord Dodges a Bullet-Plaintiff (future tenant who never moved in) Steven Katz is suing defendant (future landlord to be) Robert Morgan for return of deposit.    Plaintiff wants deposit back on room defendant rents. Defendant rents 3 bedroom apartment in private house, rents out two rooms to sub-tenants.

Plaintiff gave deposit, and was supposed to move in on 1 February at noon, and former tenant moved out, but at 4 p.m., on 1 February previous tenant was still there.      On 1 February plaintiff couldn't get into the house when he came to the house at 2 p.m. Plaintiff refused to wait two hours to get into house (defendant was at a funeral).

As JJ says, defendant should be thrilled plaintiff didn't move in, because he would have been a nightmare tenant, and it would have been hard to get him out.

Plaintiff receives $500 deposit back, but that's all plaintiff gets.

Intersection Pile-Up-Plaintiff Ronald Garland suing defendant David Garcia for car damages from their accident.    Plaintiff was in the long left turn lane, but was still going straight, when plaintiff hit the passenger side of his car, a true t-bone accident.

Defendant had a stop sign, plaintiff did not.    Defendant claims plaintiff was already in left turn lane, and should have turned left at the intersection he was hit at, when defendant crossed the street, and was hit.   Defendant, as usual, had no insurance.

Police failed to take a report, because no one was injured.    Plaintiff's insurance paid him $9,802 for his car, and defendant was uninsured, so his counterclaim was dismissed.

Plaintiff gets his $500 deductible paid.

JJ is wrong.  When you want stacked stone pattern, and get brick pattern, then it's not the same things.

Plaintiff has a $3,000 estimate to redo the bathroom.

Plaintiff gets $300.

Privacy Invasion-Plaintiff/former tenant  Dominica Nieto suing defendant/ former landlady Valerie Vilardi for evicting her.  Plaintiff was renting room in defendant's house.  Security was $500, and rent was $1,000.   Defendant has had tenants for 13 years.   Defendant evicted tenant because she was a slob.

However, plaintiff room was full of leftover food, and all kinds of garbage.   Defendant says room had a stench, and cost $1,000 to clean up.   There is a video of a clean room by plaintiff, but defendant says video was taken the day plaintiff came to look at the room, not on move out.

Defendant claims she didn't have time to take garbage bags out, since trash cans were at the back of the yard.

Landlady should have had a professional cleaning service clean the rugs, the room, and the other areas.

Plaintiff gets $180.

Deceased Father Fraud-Plaintiff Bobbie Atwood claims her siblings/defendants Erma Jones (sister) and (brother) Charles Smith Sr lied to her about the sale of late father's home, and took money from his bank account.   Plaintiff claims she was coerced into defendant's son purchasing house for $7500, and son and wife of defendant went on the deed.

The defendant's used the father's money to fix up the house (sounds like a total dump), and (son and wife of Charles Sr) then son and his mother bought it.  The son now rents the house out.

I suspect plaintiff was only upset about the rental when she found out sister-in-law Sara Smith (wife of Charles Sr) was on the deed. Sorry JJ but Zillow isn't a great resource for house prices.   Also, if the sister / plaintiff gets money for the house, then it's only fair she should have to pay for the funeral expenses too.

Sister gets $1200.

Mutilated Privacy Hedge-Plaintiff Catherine Coache-Mueck suing defendant/neighbor David Benoit over the trimming of an 18-foot privacy hedge.    Man trimmed joint privacy hedge to 3 to 4 feet, after several break ins at his house, where the burglars are shielded from view by the gigantic hedges.     The man had trimmed the hedges before with her permission, but not that short.    The hedge is planted right on the property line, and branches hang over on his line.  Defendant trimmed the hedge for free for years, but only did hedge that short after the burglaries.

$5,000 to plaintiff.      (Actually my parents neighbors had that kind of hedge, and if it's the type I think it is, it'll be very tall again in no time.)

Sister Doris Deloney and witness sister live in the house together, and sister Betty but claims defendant assaulted her.

Defendants say they have trapped and turned in over 20 cats to the Humane Society, and say that some seasons there are numerous cats.    The two litigants toss used litter box stuff over their 6 foot fence back and forth.

Plaintiff is alleged to have thrown water over the fence twice, and thrown a full trash bag of trash over the fence.     Then, defendant sprayed a water hose up in the air, and nailed plaintiff.  (Don't the police have more to do, than arbitrate feuds over cat droppings? All the plaintiff has to do is stop feeding the feral cats).

When defendant was opening his driveway gate, Betty Scroggins confronted him, and she claims he knocked her down.  Photo of where Scroggins fell down is staged according to defendant Roy, it shows cars in different positiions than when plaintiff charged and tried to assault defendant.  (Plaintiff Deloney and witness sister live in the house, Scroggins doesn't live there).

Plaintiff cat nut says she doesn't feed the cats, but they eat out of her garbage (baloney! in my opinion).   Scroggins says the problem isn't the cat feeding sister, but the neighbors' problem.

Defendant says he didn't touch plaintiff sister, but claims she tripped over the curb, and then faked her 'fall' and assault.  Personally, I believe the defendant.    Defendants say that they had to put up a gate, because plaintiff resident sister was coming through their fence gate and letting the cats out of the traps.

Defendant Fay wanted money for harassment by Doris, cost of building a gate to keep plaintiffs from coming into their property and releasing the cats from the humane trap cages.

Oh!  I'm mad now, the second plaintiff, the  sister sitting down (she lives in the house too) just gave JJ the death stare!    Just my personal opinion, I think all of the plaintiffs are a few sandwiches short of a picnic, and the mouthy one that's talking (Scroggins, the faller) is a scammer.     JJ said that the plaintiffs need to stop feeding feral cats.    I think the nasty sitting down sister feeds the cats, Deloney.

No money for either side.   JJ tells the defendants to take photos, call animal control, trap the cats, and no one gets any money.   Especially, the sister who instigated it, (Betty Scroggins) and as she leaves the courtroom says tell Deloney "Next time shouldl throw cat feces in defendant's face".   (This all happened in Bakersfield, CA)

5 p.m. episodes-

Teen Stupidity Causes Bodily Injury-Plaintiff/car owner Adriana Bullock suing defendants/ (mother) Shannya Lee and Imani Snow (daughter and car wrecker) for damages for Imani driving and wrecking her car.   Imani was 17 at the time of the accident.

Plaintiff's car was at defendant's house (they're cousins), defendant drove the plaintiff's car without permission from plaintiff, and totaled it. .   Accident injured the boyfriend passenger who was in the hospital for two weeks, and rehab for two months, and is still there.    Plaintiff's car was tot aled.

Defendant has no license (she failed the test once, and didn't try again)., no insurance, as usual.  Defendant's mother looks like we're having a cocktail party in court instead of a legal hearing.

$3478 to plaintiff (no defendant idiot driver, no license means insurance won't cover you).

The Bee's  Knees-Plaintiffs Marie Townsend and boyfriend Harley Mackey suing defendants/ former roommates Rook Kelly and Brittanee Sloan for security, first month, property damages, and utilities.    Why is it always a Play Station?

$318 to plaintiff.

Black Friday BB Gun Deal-Plaintiff Janice Miller suing defendant/niece Stacy Slaton over unpaid loan, credit card balance, and moving costs/storage costs ($2294).   Defendant's children are in custody of the plaintiff's sister (defendant's mother),  plaintiff's sister told defendant to move out, and defendant moved into plaintiff's house.   It scares me to admit, the defendant is a nurse.

Defendant claims she paid back $150, for the BB guns for the children (13, 11, 8, and ?), and they were to stay at aunt's/defendant's house.    Defendant still can't have her children at her own apartment she has now.

I remember this one, defendant supposedly had a job starting at Victoria's Secret, and had to have clothing from there to wear to work, and aunt's credit card was used several other times.   There is no way on Earth the defendant would fit anything at VS, and I hope there's no picture of her trying to wear items from there.     $1665 is the credit card charge total.

Defendant moved out, and plaintiff told defendant she was putting her items in a storage unit.   Defendant was coming in at night, setting off the alarm, only coming home briefly, so plaintiff told her that free rent was done, and she was putting her remaining items in storage.  Defendant moved out, and plaintiff told defendant she was putting her items in a storage unit.   Defendant was notified about the storage date, and defendant also picked up her stuff.

$1994 to plaintiff.

4 p.m. episodes-

Dice-Throwing Disaster-Plaintiff suing defendant and her six year old, because baby sitter says child threw dice that hit, and ruined her TV, suing for $2,000.    One baby sitter was watching 10 kids.

As usual, plaintiff doesn't have a receipt, because the TV was a gift, and she gets $350.00.

Burning Down the Trailer-Plaintiff  Judy Esperanza suing defendants  Julie Russell and Paul Brandner for the costs to replace her 5th wheel trailer.  Trailer was destroyed after defendant's motor home caught on fire, and it spread to plaintiff's trailer, at a fenced, open air storage facility at Lake Havasu.   Trailer was purchased for $2300 ten years ago, and plaintiff wants $4,000 for it now.    Plaintiff never registered the trailer in her name.

Plaintiff also wants money for what was inside the trailer, and a 5th wheel stabilizer, leveling scissor jack, and something else, but has no receipts.  Plaintiff didn't have the title, registration in her name, and it wasn't insured.  Plaintiff claims the registration on defendant's RV said it was non-operational.  However, at least defendant had a title and registration.  Plaintiff registered the trailer after the fire.  (This happened at Lake Havasu).

JJ wants to see improvements plaintiff made to the trailer since she purchased it, with receipts.

Defendant settled with other vehicle owners damaged in the fire, but they could prove they were the legal owners of their vehicles.

$1622 to plaintiff.  Plaintiff is totally ticked at JJ.

5 p.m. episodes-

Toxic Paint Job-Plaintiff Calvin Hanson suing painter Chad Hewittfor bad work painting his rental property in another state, and says defendant was too slow.  Plaintiff also suing because of over spray.    However, a tenant in the building is a dialysis center, so painter couldn't have paint fumes when patients would have to cope with them, so he could only work after 2 p.m. on Wednesday, and all day on Sundays.  Defendant painter says the signed contract doesn't make him responsible for paint issues, like over spray.     Painter, and business manager told the plaintiff about the dialysis patient issues.    Paint schedule was affected by two hurricanes (painting was in South Carolina, and plaintiff lives in California).

The pictures do not show any damage to what plaintiff is additionally claiming for, gutters, and other things.    Estimate for damage remediation has nothing to do with over spray on the roof.  Plaintiff wants to tell JJ about the damages, but has no estimate for the over spray, just extras that weren't on the original bill of work or contract.   (If plaintiff is such a painting expert, then he should paint the building.

Plaintiff didn't  seem to care about dialysis patients that could have become very ill from the paint fumes.   Since it's outdoor paint, I bet the fumes were intense.    Plaintiff wants $5,000 for a contract that only costs $2900.

Kimberlee Wilson, defendant witness who works with Chad, told the plaintiff that they couldn't work when the dialysis patients were near the building, and talks about the two hurricanes that impacted the area.  Exterior paint is very toxic, and no one should be around it without respirators.

JJ tells the plaintiff to sue in South Carolina, and then he can have expert witnesses in court.  It would cost plaintiff Scrooge many thousands more to do the court case than the contract amount.    Good luck on getting a local judge to rule against the painter, since his work speed was impacted by the dialysis patient schedules, and the hurricanes.

Man Fears for His Safety After BB Shootout-Plaintiff Brandie Cichy suing former friends Amanda and Jacob Winterfor stealing two cells phones (Samsung, and iPhone).    Plaintiff's witness said he was afraid to stay at plaintiff's place because he had been threatened by a roommate, and shot with a BB gun.

Defendant claims plaintiff witness brought the two cell phones, and gave them to defendant.   Defendants admit they knew the phones belonged to plaintiff.    Defendants are counter suing for emotional distress and stalking, and the usual harassment.     Defendants sold both stolen phones.     Both phones were still on payment plans with plaintiff's cell phone provider.

$1675 to plaintiff for the phones

Husky Custody Battle-Plaintiff suing defendant for custody of a Husky.   Litigants lived together for about four years, she was a room renting tenant, and they got a Husky, Plaintiff teaches swimming lessons by the hour, and has  a second job.

Plaintiff had a baby (not the defendant's baby), lives with a roommate.   Plaintiff moved out, kept the dog for a year, gave the dog back to defendant for two years now.   Defendant also has dog's sire.   Plaintiff wants the Husky back, and claims months ago defendant assaulted her.    Defendant paid expensive vet bills, and dog had regular care under his ownership.

Defendant keeps the dog.   (Hallterview of plaintiff is sad, and she keeps says the dog is her daughter).   (The soccer tournament that apparently never ends ran over because of commentators again. )

Phone Stomping, and Face Punching-Plaintiff Ward Tilley claims defendant Loretta Borczak was angry at him, and broke his phones.    Defendant claims man punched her in the face, and was stalking and harassing her.  (This happened in Lansing, MI).

However, after the phone breaking, and punching they slept in the same bed together.   Then, they had another fight and either her roommate sister called police, or her parents who lived upstairs called, and defendant claims he punched her in the face.   Plaintiff was arrested, and charges were dropped.

Case dismissed.

Wailing from Disabled Ignites Dog to Attack?-Plaintiff/caregiver Carrie Griggs suing defendant/attacking dog owner Laura Bruff for medical bills and lost wages after defendant’s vicious dog ran out of defendant’s property and attacked plaintiff and the person she was caring for.

Plaintiff was assisting a disabled patient on the roadside, past the defendant's driveway.  When defendant's gate opened,  her German Shepherd (GSD)  dogs attacked the patient, and the caregiver.    Defendant blames the disabled patient for their vocalizations infuriating the dog, and causing the attack.   Plaintiff is suing for medical bills, and lost wages.

Defendant claims her dogs didn't hurt the plaintiff, or her client.   Plaintiff was bitten on the thigh, and says defendant told her, and client to shut up, and defendant said they weren't hurt.   Medical records say dog bite wound on the thigh.   Defendant claims when her gate opened, that the disabled client wailed, and it upset the dog, and claims the bite never happened.   Defendant never answered animal control after multiple attempts.

Despicable defendant claims plaintiff is a fraud, and blamed the bite (if it happened) on the disabled client's noise.  Defendant wanted plaintiff and client to go into her house, and plaintiff refused.   Plaintiff would have been a fool to go into that woman's house.   (This happened in Lakeside, CA)

Animal control reports were done.    Defendant claims plaintiff, and client were on her property.    Defendant in the hall-terview blames everything on plaintiff, and says she should have controlled her patient.

$3,000 for plaintiff.

I Didn't Go to Law school for $38 in Dirt-Plaintiff Jennifer Velardo suing ex-boyfriend James Simcox for a loan ($800), planter material (yes, dirt for planting), and storage fees.    As usual, defendant claims the $800 was a gift.    JJ is not dealing with potting soil.

$800 back to plaintiff, and that's it.

4 p.m. episodes-

Moldy Daycare-Plaintiff/former tenant suing defendant/former landlord for loss of property due to mold, .   Defendant is counter claiming for unpaid rent.   Plaintiff accuses defendant/home day care provider of have a mold infestation.  Plaintiff is former tenant of basement apartment, and day care space, defendant is former landlady.   Defendant was going to have day care on first floor, and plaintiff tenant was renting garden apartment in house basement.

Plaintiff/former tenant says apartment is mold infested, and she had to trash mattresses, clothing, shoes, etc., and defendant claims tenant brought it in to the unit.  Plaintiff claims defendant changed the locks when tenant says she was going to move, and after some bizarre woman (defendant swears it was the plaintiff) was outside her house with some man right before move out.  Plaintiff claims all that she had in the apartment was her bed, and she was paying $1,000 for a place to store her bed.

$250 to defendant, nothing to bizarre tenant/plaintiff.

How to Live to be 100-(According to JJ, a Gerontologist told her the secret to living to be 100, "Don't Fall").   Plaintiff Lillian Howard  suing defendant / dog owner Angelina Flahiff  for medical bills, replacement pair of eyeglasses from defendant’s Chihuahas assaulting her.

Plaintiff/ grandmother  and granddaughter were walking down a public sidewalk, when a swarm of Chihuahuas came out of the yard, started nipping, and clawing, and plaintiff fell down.   As usual, lying dog owner swears her dogs were not out, and didn't do it.  Defendant’s daughter that was home at the time, saw the plaintiff on the ground, but claims the little dogs were always in the fence, and didn't do it.

Plaintiff is only suing for her out of pocket expenses, and her glasses replacement that were broken.  Animal control came to defendant's house, and there were citations for too many dogs, and animals at large.  Defendant didn't put anything through her homeowner's insurance, and JJ thinks she doesn't even have insurance.    Plaintiff says she did talk to the defendant at length, but defendant claims plaintiff never talked to her.

$2,000 to plaintiff.

$10,000 Doggy Day Care Bill-(Total bill was $16,200, so the title is wrong, but that's what the show called the episode.  Ex-husband paid $7400).   Plaintiff /dog boarding kennel owner Melissa Pyle  suing defendant  Mary Turpin for non- payment of dog boarding bills for three dogs, and didn't come back for six months.

Six months later defendant came to get dogs, and didn't pay, and got the police to pick up her dogs.   Defendant has a lot of reasons why she didn't want to pay, but she's still a deadbeat.   Defendant hasn't worked since 2011.   Defendant never even made partial payments, or attempted to make payment arrangements, but simply left the dogs there for six months.   Defendant also sent text on the week of pickup saying she will sign payment paperwork, but didn't, and called police to get the dogs back.

Kennel owner gave woman a deal, and charged $30 a day per dog, instead of the usual $40.  Ex-husband of defendant paid $7400, but defendant still owes $8,600 (actually $10,000 owed).     Defendant wanted a payment plan, but instead she called the police to get her dogs back, and police gave the dogs back.

Plaintiff gets $5,000, but is still screwed out of $5,600.    (I hope other boarding kennels caught this case and the name of the defendant).  Defendant also says plaintiff abused and neglected the dogs.

Damaged Memorabilia -Plaintiff/ landlord Charles Benson suing defendant / Section 8 former tenant Carolyn Stuckey for damaged, and stolen property.

Plaintiff had some of his property in the basement, but it was not rented to the defendant.    Defendant put some of her property in the basement.   Then, her son needed to store his stuff, and moved out landlord's memorabilia outside, and her son's stuff in.   Landlord's property was dumped outside in the yard.      Defendant claims the sewer kept backing up in the basement, but yet she still stored her stuff, and her son's stuff in there?    Plaintiff says the sewer back up was in 2015, not 2019.

Defendant claims plaintiff told her move his stuff outside, and plaintiff denies this.  Defendant hasn't paid her portion of Section 8 rent in 9 months, Section 8 still pays its part though.    Defendant has a lot of lame excuses, such as, the electric and gas bills are too high to pay rent, and other stuff.    Coming on this show is the only way the poor landlord will get anything out of this.    Plaintiff gets his money for the rent, but not the memorabilia, and I hope the deadbeat plaintiffs moved out.  Plaintiff landlord says defendant was in the process of moving out, that had to be coordinated with Section 8, and for over a year.

Tenant/defendant hasn't paid her $288 portion of rent since November 2018.     My question is if Section 8 knew that all of her other relatives were living there?

From the hall-terview, tenant is still 'trying' to move.    Good luck with that when other landlords find out she doesn't pay.

$1500 to landlord/plaintiff.

Racing Motorcycle Rip-Off-Plaintiff suing mechanic for fraud, saying that mechanic didn't use original parts on plaintiff's racing motorcycle the plaintiff wrecked.    In the photo, it shows zip ties on the bike.    Plaintiff gave mechanic $3500, with a total of $5,000.

When plaintiff came to pick up motorcycle he was unhappy with the defendant's work, police said to pay the mechanic and then sue him.    Plaintiff's accident case is still pending in court, and plaintiff alleges that other driver was at fault, however, plaintiff can't discuss that part of the case.

Plaintiff wants to be paid for the mechanic's work, but wants the other driver to pay him for the motorcycle too.       JJ is convinced it's two different cases.    There are photos of the pre-accident bike, the wrecked bike, and the after photos of the repair.   The wiring harness is zip tied to the bike!     The original parts are ordered only from Honda, but plaintiff claims after market cheap parts were used.

Plaintiff had another estimate that was much more expensive, and defendant was cheaper.      When you ask for a cheaper repair, you get cheaper parts.      Motorcycle is being driven, and plaintiff is still whining.   I don't think the plaintiff made a legitimate case for the repair being separate from the payment from the original accident, I think the repair should have been paid for by the accident payout, because that's where the damages came from.

Case dismissed.

The Weaponization of Child Protective Services-Plaintiff Robert Martin suing defendant / ex-girlfriend Felicia Carberry for bail money, and for false reports to CPS.  Defendant was arrested for perjury.    Defendant claims plaintiff called CPS twice on her, but reports are anonymous.      Defendant claims she has text messages from plaintiff threatening to call CPS, but she does not have proof.

There is a police report that plaintiff said defendant let her child with scabies, and measles around other children.    If that's true CPS should have done something about Carberry (defendant).  Defendant case dismissed.   Defendant told CPS that plaintiff offered both litigants daughters marijuana.    How would defendant know?   She was incarcerated at the time.

Plaintiff bailed defendant out of jail for perjury, and obstruction of justice.  Plaintiff gets bail money $617.

Tax Fraud Conspiracy-Plaintiff Rebecca Redinger suing painter William Payne for damage to home interior.   There is an unsigned contract, for $3800, and work changes from plaintiff changed final bill to $5550.   Defendant says plaintiff wanted bill date changed to January so she could deduct it on her taxes (yes, they both admitted to conspiracy to commit tax fraud on national tv.   Hope that IRS agent they assign to watch court shows caught this one).

Work was completed in November 2017, and invoice dated January 2018.    The pictures of the finished paint job are current, but the paint was done over two years ago.    I wonder what the plaintiff cleaned the basement trim with?   It looks like she used a solvent, and that could certainly make the paint melt.   Two year old paint is not going to still be liquid like that.    Defendant has texts from plaintiff saying how much she loves the paint job.

Plaintiff gets zero.

Robbed While Serving Time?!  -Plaintiff Cornell Gardner  suing defendant/ex Deanne Middleton  for  furniture stolen while he was incarcerated, security deposit. Plaintiff has custody of the litigants’ child, Monday though Friday.   Defendant also had the landlord pay the rent through the security deposit for the last month’s rent.

Plaintiff gets furniture back, and $750 security back too.

No Title, No Car! -Plaintiff /car buyer Benjamin Bell III suing car seller/defendant car seller Mark Rubin for return of payments for a car that had a title in someone else’s name, so plaintiff can’t register car.

Plaintiff had car for a month, made two payments, and refused to pay any more until defendant proved clear title.   Defendant has an affidavit in lieu of title, because car belongs to defendant’s father who is in assisted living.   Defendant isn’t the legal guardian or POA, so can’t sell the car.

Defendant wants the rest of the payments, and payment for harassment.   Defendant can stuff that demand.

Plaintiff receives $1200, and car goes back to defendant.  Defendant claim dismissed.

Bakersfield Boyfriend Trouble-Plaintiff Dennis Nate suing defendants Stacie Dias (mother) and Nancy Arms (daughter) for  unpaid rent.   Plaintiff has two trailers/houses on 4 acres near Bakersfield.   Plaintiff witness is Dana Nate, his wife.

Defendants rented trailer on same property as landlord, and  claim even though they lived there for several years, that landlord danced around naked in the front yard, harassed the defendant and daughters, and hated the mother's loser boyfriend.

Defendants were already living there as tenants when plaintiff bought property from 2015, and lived there from 2015 to 2019.     Tenants were mother, three adult daughters, adult son, and mother's boyfriend, who also moved in to trailer in  August of 2018.

Trouble started in 2018 after boyfriend moved in, but police were frequently at the house from mental issues with a daughter.   In October 2018, defendant wanted loser boyfriend out of the trailer/home.    Defendant was going to move out so stopped paying rent.   Two months later tenant moved, boyfriend is now incarcerated.   Back rent is $850.

Plaintiff claims HVAC unit was taken, and trailer was trashed, and ex-tenant is a slob.  Counter claim alleges plaintiff danced naked in the yard, grabbed tenant mother's butt, and hit on adult daughter.    I hope the mother's new landlord watched this.

$1100 to plaintiff, and nothing for defendants.

Double Lane-Change for a Donut-Plaintiff Wali Hakim suing defendant Brian Harris for causing a car accident when defendant cut him off.   Plaintiff says defendant cut across two lanes, and clipped plaintiff's front fender on the driver side.    Defendant says he was trying to get a donut, put the turn signal on, and claims the plaintiff was driving like a nut.     Obviously, the plaintiff is right, and defendant was in a donut frenzy, and did what he had to do to get that donut.   It must have been one hell of a donut.    (My spell check is going nuts about donut, instead of doughnut. It's picking on me).

Child Suffers 50 Stitches-Plaintiff mother Sharina Edwards suing defendant Raymond Montgomery for dog attack on her 13 year-old son by defendant's dog that was required to be muzzled when outside the home (attack was September 2016).    The child's injuries required 50 plus stitches to close, on his foot, leg. .

Defendant's vicious dog is a Cane Corso, that was required to be muzzled by the city of Cincinnati courts, after a previous attack on another animal.   Defendant was walking his vicious Cane Corso, and his other smaller dog.    He was also required to have (he's not a homeowner) insurance on the dog after April of 2016, and stopped paying for the insurance, so it was cancelled.

Child was walking home with friends, it was after dark, when dog attacked him without warning.   Child says dog wasn't on a leash, and the smaller dog was off leash too.   Dog was euthanized after attack.

$5,000 to child.

Mother/Daughter Savings Plan Fail-Plaintiff Erica Wheelock (daughter) suing defendant (mother)  Lisa Black for loss of property.   To save money, daughter and boyfriend moved in with mother.   The two women argued, and daughter left, and daughter wants TV, and microwave back.

Plaintiffs moved everything to mother's garage, and left them behind because she had no room for them.       Defendant mother says she put TV , and record player and vinyl, and put it outside, and it disappeared.    Defendant's friend claims daughter sold her the microwave so daughter could buy weed, however, witness looks like the stoner.

Defendant says boyfriend, and plaintiff came back to pick things up from her house, with a police escort.  Police reports says daughter put her items in garage for pick up, and TV and other things were tossed.

Plaintiff gets $125 for the TV, defendant's counter claim for rent is dismissed.

Adult Male vs. Judge Judy's Grandchildren-Plaintiffs Daniel Kivo and CHarles Dalpozzo suing defendant/ former roommate Stafford Silas Hoff   for unpaid rent, utilities.  Defendant claims he lived there for the first year, and moved out six months ago.    Defendant doesn't know the address he lives at, with his girlfriend, for six months.   JJ suspects the three litigants are in this together.    JJ wants to call girlfriend to see if defendant moved in with her in May.

Since plaintiffs have texts from defendant saying he owes them the money,  JJ dismissed the case with prejudice to go back to their local small claims court.

5 p.m. episodes-

Daycare Drama-Plaintiff/daycare provider  Rebecca Wysinger suing defendant/former client Dominque Alexanderfor pulling her kids out of plaintiff’s program without notice.    Plaintiff is unlicensed day care provider, with no background check.   (Plaintiff needs only a background check to complete her licensing, and then she'll have a license.  However, her state allows her to run a daycare while trying to get licensed).

Plaintiff is suing defendant because she pulled her kids without notice, after a dispute over children's father picking them up at the daycare.  Daycare provider didn't want to be in the middle of the nasty custody dispute, and the police were called on at least one occasion about father.  Day care provider said children had to leave.

Plaintiff claims defendant owes for 2 days, and was required in the contract to pay for two full weeks notice of departure.

Case dismissed, since day care provider told the defendant to get her kids out now.

Husky Attacks Tiny Dog-Plaintiff/Min Pin Maurice Stitt owner suing defendant Amora Guirguis over attack by Husky/German Shepherd mix at a dog park.    Min Pin was on a leash, plaintiff's other medium-sized dog was at his side.

Defendant's dog attacked the Min Pin, and had the small dog in the defendant's dog mouth, and Husky was shaking the Min Pin.

Defendant's big dog has a history of her dog going after small dogs. Defendant is despicable, and claims the plaintiff injured his own dog, and used it like a toy to lure her dog to attack his.    (I agree that the defendant is despicable, for saying the Min Pin was dangled like bait for her vicious dog.   I bet this isn't the first dog that the Husky has attacked, and I wouldn't bet people aren't next).

$514 to plaintiff

Mechanic Demands Payback-Plaintiff Steven Romero suing defendants / former business owners and tow truck operators Daron and Stacy McConnell for his cars and tools stored on defendants' tow yard.

Plaintiff mechanic kept his tools, and stored cars on the defendants' tow yard.   Defendants rented tow yard, and locked out plaintiff after a dispute.  Plaintiff wants the cars, and his tools back.    Defendant claims plaintiff owes $500 for Jeep, and tow dolly damages.

Defendant says the tow yard tenants were all locked out of the tow yard, because of plaintiff's late night 'activities'.   Unfortunately, the activities weren't outlined enough for me to figure out what unsavory activities the plaintiff is supposed to be up to.

Plaintiff gets three cars from the lot, defendant keeps the other jeep, and that's the end.

4 p.m. episodes-

Case of the Missing Angel Statue-Plaintiff hired painter to paint mirror frames, claims she was paying $165.  However, defendant/painter says the paint cost over $165.   Plaintiff wants an angel statue back, but never paid the defendant.    Mirror was finished by artist, but plaintiff disputes the price.

However, plaintiff had another estimate to paint two mirrors for $1800.  Defendant actually painted five mirrors for the plaintiff.   Defendant was given an angel statue by plaintiff, and she sold it.

Case dismissed, since plaintiff gave the defendant the angel statue in lieu of paying her bills, and defendant accepted the statue, and resold it.

Storage Battles-Plaintiffs suing and defendants Buckman were going into business together to buy storage units, and resell items from the unitis in a small store.    Defendants were to work in the store, but man alleges that plaintiff was rotten to him.

Defendant swears money wasn't a loan from plaintiff, but an advance to buy stock for the store.  Plaintiff and defendant worked at the flea market selling, but stopped.

$1k to plaintiff, since they never paid defendant for his work.

Jealousy-Fueled Breakup-Plaintiff  Kiara Lee suing ex-boyfriend Calvin Craig for vandalism, stolen property, and unpaid rent.   They moved in together, both signed the lease, and then fought and he moved out.  She claims defendant vandalized her car.   (Why do all people who move in together have more TVs in one apartment than I've owned in my entire life?).

Plaintiff says a neighbor said some woman was in her apartment with Love Muffin, resulting fight was when he moved out, with his clothes and two TVs.

Plaintiff gets $700 for two TVs, but nothing for car damage because her phone dissolved or something.

5 p.m. episodes-

Baby Daddy Disrupts Lesbian Affair-Plaintiff Shermanique Collins suing defendant Crystal Carringtonfor ramming her car.    Plaintiff claims she needs a TV and other property left behind after the break up.  Defendant is counter suing because plaintiff rammed defendant’s car, and had no insurance.

Two exes were fighting over plaintiff's baby Daddy and other issues, had a nasty breakup.   Defendant claims she left her TVs behind, don't they all?  Then when plaintiff went to get her property, waiting for a police escort, the plaintiff claims they rammed each other.   Police report says plaintiff hit defendant car, and three others that were parked.   Plaintiff also hit other cars when targeting the defendant's car.    As usual, plaintiff has no insurance, but defendant does.

Defendant claims plaintiff rammed her car and ripped up the front grill, and both sides of the car front.   Police report is given to JJ.    Police report says video shows plaintiff moving away from defendant's car. And report says plaintiff rammed the front left corner of defendant's car.    By a bizarre coincidence, Shermanique Collins, the plaintiff, had her insurance lapse the day before the demolition derby in the parking lot.

$500 to defendant for her insurance deductible, nothing to plaintiff.

Good Sister, Bad Sister-Plaintiff/sister Kayla Haxton suing defendant /sister Vada Haxton for defendant using her identity when she was stopped by police, and charged with possession or use of drug paraphernalia.   The citation was signed with plaintiff's name, but defendant signed it, and defendant has a record of four identity theft convictions.    Defendant's sister claims she was in prison most of 2016, so she didn't do it.  OMG!  The defendant has a longer rap sheet than Al Capone.    Defendant says she's been clean for over 3 years, but got arrested in 2017.     I can't believe anyone hired her in 2017.  However, she wasn't actually in jail, or prison the day of the ticket.      There is a recording of the defendant saying she would pay the ticket, and claims it won't appear on the plaintiff's record once it's paid for.    Because ticket wasn't paid for, they have now added fines to it.

$5,000 to plaintiff, because ticket is over $300, and plaintiff will have to get her record expunged, requiring a local attorney.

10 July

4 p.m. episodes-

Crystal Meth and Disability-Plaintiff former tenant, suing former landlords for wrongful eviction, and property they kept.  Defendants suing for unpaid rent.   Plaintiff was a plumber, then had a disability payment ($19k),   Roommate of plaintiff was landlord’s son, and plaintiff claims they did meth together, and that's why he was checked out.  Plaintiff was evicted for non-payment of rent.

After first quit notice, plaintiff paid up, but stopped paying after that.   Plaintiff also claims the defendants threatened to turn him in as a fraud to disability.   Property was left behind after plaintiff took his stuff out and put in storage.  Plaintiff owes $2k in back rent, and HOA fine for parking.

$2k to defendants, nothing to plaintiff.   Plaintiff claims you can't evict someone on disability.

Deceased Dad's Trailer Drama-Plaintiff Steven Malone suing defendant/stepdaughter Myja Butcher for unpaid loan to fix up late father's trailer.  Back property taxes were $570, utility bills, and construction loan totaling $5k.

Litigants were going to fix up trailer (he's a handyman), and when it sold she would get 65%, and he would get 35%.    Trailer was sold for $28000, but his $5k was never repaid, he received $9+, and $2500 more.

Defendant claims $5k wasn't a loan.   It's actually written as "repay loan to Steve" on the trailer paperwork.    Mother is witness for defendant.

$3125 or so to plaintiff.   (plaintiff has been told to leave the stepfather's house twice by police, and won't let mother to see the grandchildren after this)

Troubled Teens’ Crash Pad  -Plaintiff Annette Campbell claims a defendant/teen Aspen Manning who moved into her home retitled a car in her name, not the plaintiff’s name, and stole a ring.

Plaintiff couple have two or three teens (18 or 19 years old) who can't stay at their own homes live with the plaintiffs.  Defendant took paperwork to register the plaintiff's newly purchase car, but instead titled and registered it in the defendant's name, and defendant took the car when she moved out.   The defendant had previously registered and titled the plaintiff's other car, and that was in defendant's name that was correct.  The car in question was for the teens to run errands, and do household chores.

Defendant claims plaintiff wanted her to get a title loan on 'her' car, for some lawyer fees they needed to pay.  A cheap attempt to slur the plaintiffs.     There is a picture of defendant wearing the ring, but no proof that the ring was stolen by defendant. Ring case dismissed.    One good thing, the plaintiffs are now done with revolving door crash pad for troubled people.

JJ gives defendant choice to sign title over, or have car theft charges pressed against her, so she signs the title over, and money from the case is only released after changed title is shown to the court.  Defendant claims plaintiff husband wanted her to get a title loan on the car for the couple.   Total Bull Pucky.

Pit Bull Breakout - Plaintiff Kimberly Belken suing defendant / neighbor Brian Rhodes for vet bills from his dog escaping his yard, and attacking the plaintiff's Blue Heeler.  Defendant's dog is actually a pit bull/Great Pyrennes mix, and huge.  Defendant claims plaintiff's dog broke through fence, and injuries to plaintiff's dog were from fence nails.

Plaintiff was walking her two dogs (Blue Heelers) on a tandem leash, attacking dog broke through the fence (face, head, and shoulders) grabbed the nearest dog, and assaulted it.     The bottom of the old vertical fence boards aren't even nailed down, as shown in pictures.     Defendant put boards on the inside of the fence after the attack.

Plaintiff gets vet bills $416.

5 p.m. episodes-

Border Collie Loses Ear in Attack-Plaintiff Michael Flanagan suing defendants/ neighbors' Crystal and Antonio Scott's Rottweilers of mauling his Border Collie, and biting his son.    Plaintiff claims Rottweilers clamped on Border Collie through their fence, and in the fight to free the Border Collie the dog lost an ear.   The neighbors claim the Border Collie was actually on their property, and dogs were doing their duty.   The adult son of the plaintiff saw the attack, and was also injured freeing the dog.  Plaintiff's witness is his son, Michael   Flanagan Jr, who witnessed the attack and was bitten during the fight.  (This happened in Upland, CA).

The fence is wrought iron and the Border Collie's snout fits through the bars, but the Rottweiler doesn't fit through very far.   (However, the Rottweiler's must be able to fit through the fence to rip the ear.

The Rotts look more like Shepherd or Doberman crosses, and their snouts do fit through the fence.     There have been other dog issues, and with the deceased Daddy dog.    The fence should have had no climb wire put onto the fence.   Sadly, the Border Collie was pulled through the fence, and son was injured by the dogs on his fence.

Plaintiff claims the younger Rotts are vicious, and male defendant won't go in the yard with them.    Plaintiff gets nothing, and should put up wire fencing on his side.

Case dismissed.  (If plaintiff had half a brain, he would have put up wire mesh fencing on his side a long time ago.)

15K Investment in Not-So-Handy Boyfriend-Plaintiff Rebecca Schwartz suing defendant/ex-boyfriend Jacob Chambers for shoddy work on her house.  Plaintiff and ex-boyfriend were working on a house in poor condition.    After they broke up, plaintiff wants $5k to pay for shoddy work by defendant.  Defendant did not charge for his work, because he's not a licensed contractor.    Defendant also left all materials in the house that the plaintiff purchased.

Plaintiff gets nothing, and defendant also gets nothing.   Defendant didn't have a contract for the home remodeling work, so he gets nothing.

4 p.m. episodes-

Narcotics, Divorce and Debt-Plaintiff grandmother Joanne Peterson suing her son's ex-wife Carrie Phillips for childcare costs for her own grandchildren, and an unpaid loan.   Ex-husband borrowed money from his mother for another family vehicle, while they were married.   Marital debt, I know how this will come out.

During the divorce the $10k shortfall on repossession of minivan they bought, was not listed as a marital debt on the divorce paperwork.   Plaintiff ex-husband pays no child support, and is often unemployed.   JJ gives the Byrd boot to the plaintiff ex-husband, and deadbeat father.  Bobby Sherrell is the son of plaintiff, and ex-husband of defendant.

Grandmother also wants to be paid for taking care of, and supervising visitation with her own grandchildren, also dismissed.    In hall-terview druggie deadbeat father says his solution will be to sue for full custody.

Note to future litigants, when JJ asks you when you went to jail, don't ask her which time? If you want any sympathy from JJ or Byrd, or any of the viewers.

JJ dismisses loan case, and says plaintiff should get it from her deadbeat son.

Break a Leg-Plaintiff Julie Mikus suing defendant ex-boyfriend Doyle Nelson for harassment, unpaid loan.   Loan was for medical costs for defendant's child, $400 and promising repayment within two weeks.   Defendant wanted more money from plaintiff and she said no.  Defendant seems totally out of control, and vague on a lot of dates, and loan details.

$400 to plaintiff.

Construction Lockout! -Plaintiff /homeowner Ted Drummond accusing defendant/ contractor Jeff Foxworthy of damaging his home.  The house was supposed to be made more energy efficient, including blown in insulation, but that left holes in the stucco.   There is no contract, just an invoice.

They drilled holes in the outer stucco, filled in with cellulose insulation, with plugs to block the water infiltration, and stucco patch was up to the home owner.   A couple of places inside the house, wall board blew out from overfilling.    Contractor was locked out by homeowner.  (I used to live where plaintiff came from, and his town is not small, and there are plenty of contractors).    (Contractor was from Colorado Springs, CO, house was in Pueblo, CO, not a tiny town contrary to what plaintiff says. )

Plaintiff paid nothing, hasn't paid for repairs either.    Plaintiff also did the stucco patches before contractor could come and put wooden plugs in, to make it easier to stucco over.   Plaintiff brought virtually no evidence to court, so no case.   (What the contractor did is standard.  The homeowner has to get someone to repair the stucco.  And in Colorado if a gate is locked, and no one answers, you don't trespass.)

Plaintiff claim dismissed. There is a defense counterclaim for the cost of the job, at the reduced price, and contractor gets $1,176.

5 p.m. episodes-

Cute Service Dogs in the House- Plaintiff/former tenant Panzetta Bradford suing defendant/former landlord William Lyons for return of security deposit, and harassment.   Harassment claim dismissed.    Plaintiff was homeless, placed in defendant's apartment with her two service dogs.   It was a No Smoking apartment, but plaintiff admits smoking marijuana.   Landlord says plaintiff brought in a third dog too.

Since the smoking prohibition wasn't in the lease, then it doesn't count.    Plaintiff admits adding a third dog, that is not a service dog.   The third dog was the plaintiff's sister's dog, and claims it was only with her in the motel, not the apartment.

The psychologist said plaintiff should have the dog, so then it's not a service dog, but an emotional support dog, is my guess.   Plaintiff was so broke that she needed assistance, but  would stay in a motel for days at a time.

Plaintiff gets her security deposit $650.   Byrd is now supporting the former tenant in a Section 8 2- bedroom townhouse.

Fight Aftermath! -Plaintiff/landlord Edward Holmok suing ex tenant/ defendant Shaun Loppe for unpaid rent, and cleaning fees.    Tenant was inherited by plaintiff.

2 tenants were month-to-month, girlfriend moved out.    $625 was security, and woman received $312 back.     Unfortunately, part of the post-move out clean up is plaintiff and girlfriend charging for their time spent cleaning up, and they can forget that.

  Case dismissed.

Hennessey Fueled Catfight-Plaintiff Denise Patton suing defendant Deja Kelley for breaking a wall mirror, couch, and other items when they had a fist fight in plaintiff's house.    Plaintiff came home, found ex-friend defendant in plaintiff's home with her cousin.   The fight started when plaintiff told her to leave.

I wonder if the missing teeth on defendant were from the fight?   Defendant claims plaintiff smacked her phone out of her hand, and plaintiff threw phone in toilet, and the big fight started.

Plaintiff's witness claims defendant threw the phone out the door, and phone broke.    Plaintiff claims defendant smashed the couch, then the fighting started,  Plaintiff admits that she threw the phone at defendant, not in the toilet.

I do wish we had a video of the fight.

Case dismissed.

Homeless Man Home Invasion-Plaintiff Karla Moreno suing ex-boyfriend Pedro Salas for breaking her bedroom window, stealing her TV, and damages.    The rented room was in defendant's father's home, and they broke up over a year ago.       Defendant was living in his car, and needed gas money.    Defendant owned TV, but had it given to plaintiff by a neighbor to hold.  Defendant claims plaintiff was to hold the TV for him.   The TV is so old it's worthless.     (This happened in Bakersfield, CA)

Defendant claims he didn't break into the house, but the front door was open.  Pictures of window show the glass is broken.    I wonder who really broke the glass?

 $160 for window to plaintiff.

Recess for a New Generation!-Plaintiff Bethany Fisher (mother) and (daughter) Clara Haungs are suing defendant Carrie Welsh (mother) and (daughter) Carmen Burrell for value of a laptop destroyed by the defendant’s daughter.

Teenager re-enacts a YouTube laptop throwing stunt, called a Yeet, and grabbed plaintiff's bag with the laptop in it, and threw it.  Plaintiff mother suing for cost of laptop.

Defendant mother, claims there is a school rule that nothing that happens to a laptop at school that there is no responsibility to anyone but the owner, however she has nothing to prove that.  Defendant daughter admits she took the laptop bag, and threw it, breaking the laptop.      Carmen the defendant is not smart, and her mother is a total fool.

$327 to plaintiff for the smashed laptop, and says if the fictional teen who threw it first can be found (Joaquin), then defendant can sue the other parent for half of $327.   Joaquin doesn't exist.

Bag of Rice Cellphone Trick!-Plaintiffs/ Evan Chace and (girlfriend)  Kaylee Alfonso suing defendant/ Jason Neves for ruining two iPhones when he pushed plaintiff into a pool.

Fool defendant sends a picture of himself flipping a bird with his text messages.   JJ says she doesn't understand people sending nasty pictures that they would be ashamed to have their grandmother see, and defendant fool says JJ reminds him of his grandmother.    JJ says she doesn't give a damn who she reminds him of.

Outrageous Peeping Tom Allegations-Plaintiffs/tenants Sylvia and Brandon Gibbs suing defendants/former landlords Perston and Donna Allen for $950 payment to leave the defendant's rental, utility bills, and punitive damages.    Deadbeat tenants want to be paid to move out, and turn in keys, but they haven't moved out yet.

Defendant landlords won the eviction case, but tenants were promised $950 from defendants, to turn in the keys.    Plaintiffs haven't turned keys over yet.    What part of pay when they leave does no one understand?   And the $950 security deposit isn't the $950 other payment.   Plaintiff Sylvia claims the $950 was for their damages from living in defendants' house.

Plaintiff/tenants allege landlords harassed them, put nails behind their tires, and man was peeping at their 9 year old daughter.

Court hearing was just to get house back from tenants.    The defendants finally got the house back, but tenants never turned in keys, and want their security deposit back.    Plaintiffs didn't have renter's insurance when the 'flood' happened in January, but got it after, just in time for the leak in July.

After showing pictures of the damages, plaintiff then makes the bizarre allegation that Preston Allen was peeping in the 9-year-old daughter's window.  If that was the case, why didn't she call the police? She also claims to have made a police report that defendant Preston put nails behind her tires.

$750 to disgusting pigs of tenants.   (Another reason that I will never be a landlord). How can JJ give the plaintiffs anything?  The agreement was $950 for leaving the keys at the attorney's office, and in return for dropping the keys off.  How can plaintiffs give the keys back when they didn't move out until long after the agreed move out date).

RV Flipping Fiasco-Plaintiff/RV buyer  Kelly Dunn suing defendant/RV seller James Cal for return of $4,000 paid for the RV.  Plaintiff was buying an RV from that defendant bought to flip. Price was $6800, but plaintiff paid $4,000.   She wants the money back.

Defendant was supposed to fix the pop out leak, and body damages, but didn't fix anything.

Plaintiff gets $4k, and signs RV back over to defendant.
