formerlyfreedom April 11, 2014 Share April 11, 2014 After a Navy officer is found dead on a rural road, the NCIS team must ascertain if the murder was the result of a bar fight or because he knew too much about an attack on a fellow female officer. Meanwhile, DiNozzo and McGee start a juice cleanse to purge their bodies of impurities. Link to comment
riley702 April 16, 2014 Share April 16, 2014 Seriously? Could Abby behave in a more cringe-worthy way? If I had been sexually assaulted and then been subjected to that little display, I would have punched her, not hugged her and suddenly confided in her. 1 Link to comment
MortysCleaningLady April 16, 2014 Share April 16, 2014 Thought this was one of the better episodes this season. I loved that we did get a lot of Abby in the episode -- she's barely been on this season. That said, the sub-plot about the cleanse between Tim and Tony was silly. Why are the writers dumbing these two down so much this season? Link to comment
luna70 April 16, 2014 Share April 16, 2014 I am 'GUESSING' (because I do not want to take the time'... that the persons who wrote this episode WERE A GROUP OF MEN.. OR mainly men with a young PROFESSIONALLY UPWORD MOBILE female sitting at the end of the table.... Riley, you are SOO RIGHT.. and I will tell you.. I have not been raped, but.. have been sexually molested... and probably older then you.. (AROUND PAULEY'S age!) If she did and said that to ME?! I would most likely have burst out CRYING and left the building!!!! THEN... written PLUS emailed A VERY LONG LETTER... detailing what HAPPENED and telling THESE IDIOTS.. who are supposed to be bringing NAVY CRIMES to justice... that THEY NEED ALOT OF COURSES on HOW TO TALK to the VICTIMS OF CRIMES! Having the VICTIM THANK Abby... will VALIDATE to some IDIOTS out in TV land that it is OKAY to talk to RAPE victims like that! Bring on NBC'S SVU team! or if you can't cross networks.......walk across the street to the FBI (because the REAL HEADQUARTERS of NCIS is in QUANTICO, VA right near the FBI headquarters..)and get the CRIMINAL MINDS-Behavioral Unit Team(s)... Or even... NATE from PREVIOUS Seasons of Ncis La.! Why doesn't D.C. have a Psychiatrist or Psychologist??? on board? Just because Ducky has 'studied' it does not mean he is qualified! OKAY, I will give Ducky credit, none of his 'patients' ever committed suicide on him! Though, the fact that they are already dead, does help! I DID LIKE Vance being upset/disgusted that his daughter wants to be a Naval Officer and this-assaults on Naval Officers are STILL HAPPENING... but, alas, WOMEN still get the 'shaft' proverbial, and literally, from men and society IN MANY WALKS OF LIFE! Abby.. seems to be getting more and more immature as she ages.. GIBBS GIBBS GIBBS.. please please please..!!!! TAKE one of those 3-4 jobs she supposedly gets offered a year!!! ABBY= FORENSIC SCIENTIST OR GLORIFIED LAB TEC? 1 Link to comment
webruce April 16, 2014 Share April 16, 2014 When they went on the ship to talk about the body that got run over I wondered if Comm. Wexler had something to do with it. At that time I didn't think Ensign Holly Farrell had anything to do with it. Farrell did a nice job of first trying to cover up, but the team slowly wore her down. Gibbs and then Abby helped a lot. Good they found out about Lt.Monica King being in similar fashion 3 years ago, and a total of 9 assaulted in same way. My wife thought to when Gibbs talked to Commander Clarence Daniels that maybe it was him. But with Commander Louis Wexler there with him it was clear to me. Felt bad for the bartender Fred Johnson who threw out Ensign Lester Tate after his fight. He bounced off the dumpster just like when Tony and Bishop were chasing Eddie Patch." You can't beat a well placed dumpster," said Tony, laughing. I do like Special Agent Maureen Cabot. "Mo" later gave an agitated Wexler a nice shot to the throat. I figured Tim and Tony's cleansing process wouldn't hold up. But Tim cheating with sausage? He did buy all 3 of them steaks after. Was nice at end when Thomas Burke hugged his friend Holly Farrell when she headed back to ship. She gave him the Gibb's slap. Abby almost got one then Gibbs hugged her. Also liked the public service announcement at end of show, hoped it helped someone. 1 Link to comment
riley702 April 16, 2014 Share April 16, 2014 I'm not that young, luna. My avatar is my Bitstrips version of me. :D But thanks for the reinforcement that that was a terrible way to treat someone who'd been sexually assaulted. I cringed all the way through those scenes. 1 Link to comment

Who walks up to a rape victim and gets all touchy-feely with them and invading their space? 1 Link to comment

I loved Bishop innocently asking if they minded her eating. Link to comment
betsyboo January 2, 2015 Share January 2, 2015 Just caught this on a repeat. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought Abby was out of line. I know she's Gibbs' favorite, but why does she always get a pass?? "Oh, that's Abby." If i had such a high maintenance co-worker, i'd snap. Link to comment
