Which is why I stopped watching boxing about four Olympics ago.  I feel so bad for these athletes having to deal with such bad judging.

When did they get rid of the buttons that were used for scoring? They mentioned something about getting rid of the headgear during one of the fights where the boxer was robbed. I guess it was around the same time? That scoring system had taken a lot of the shenanigans out of Olympic boxing that appear to be back in force. If this is how it's going to be, throw the sport out. I don't care if it's an original Olympic sport. If it’s going to be this unfair yet again, consign it to the dustbin of history.

I can't believe boxing hasn't been expelled, frankly.  It seems every time, there is a scandal and after every scandal there is talk of booting it if things don't change.  Things don't change and we just go 'round and 'round. Get rid of it.
