ElectricBoogaloo April 14, 2016 Share April 14, 2016 When Abbi gets her period while on an airplane, she and Ilana go to extreme lengths to find a tampon. Link to comment

jima April 21, 2016 Share April 21, 2016 I hope one of the runner-up grotesqueries was the flight safety video starring Adam Levine! 1 Link to comment
Febgirl April 21, 2016 Share April 21, 2016 Too many great details to enumerate, from the indignity of air travel to Women's issues. A re-watch is definitely in order. As a Fitbit user who has more than once walked in place when I'm thiiis close to 10k steps, I loved that bit with Tracee Ellis Ross. 5 Link to comment

ganesh April 22, 2016 Share April 22, 2016 "They *get* to have it?!" I'm totally down with Abbi, but not for nothing, you could show up 5 hours before the flight and if you're not in the first third boarding the plane, there's no way there's anymore overhead room. I always totally scam in and sneak into zone 1 to make sure. I liked the back and forth with the flight attendants too. I can't say that I've ran into may flight attendants that were just mean. I can't imagine that they wouldn't give Abbi a tampon irl. I've gotten some free drinks, aspirin, blankets. I also like Abbi's total lack of knowledge of religion. Link to comment
ElectricBoogaloo April 22, 2016 Author Share April 22, 2016 To be fair, Abbi's lack of religious knowledge is centered around Judaism since she seems to know about communion, sacraments, and Christmas songs! I loved Ilana's shock that Abbi knew so little about mohels and the bris ceremony. 1 Link to comment
glowlights April 22, 2016 Share April 22, 2016 I loved every single minute of this ep and can't wait to watch again. By the time they described Jesus as basically a rich kid I was on the floor. The airplane safety video slayed me, too. And Abbi singing Hark The Herald Angels... I will give Ilanna full marks for resourcefulness with her Etsy-esque homemade tampon. Link to comment

I feel like I need to rewatch because sadly, I didn't love the finale. Kinda felt the opposite. I didn't laugh that much which is not the norm. Though destination shows are not my thing so it's probably me. Hell it started when the Brady's went to Hawaii and then Jessie's dad got married on Saved By the Bell. Just stay where I know and love you. Link to comment

The scenes on the plane were okay with me because it was a contained, stressful environment (unlike the Brady family running around Hawaii). But yeah, my lols lagged during the interrogation scenes. The conversation about Jesus at the end is what brought me back around. In the previous ep Ilanna started hissing at people who were in her way, like a... zombie? Vampire? Which one of them hisses? Anyway, that's a brilliant strategy I plan to employ in the future. Will report back with results. :) 1 Link to comment
