There is only one fatal flaw to all of this - and it is that Cynthia the Crier was Annoying. As. All. Hell. Kudos to Mariska Hargitay for pulling it off, but I'd live quite happily forgetting Cynthia existed!

On the plus side, Neal Baer - future SVU EP - was the EP on ER during that guest stint, so it's nice to know they crossed paths again.

I love me some Robert John Burke, but Matthew Goode alone would win this for Alicia in my book. We've never had a guy that handsome on SVU if you ask me. Or that English.

Disclaimer: I also love me some Josh Charles, A LOT. Like, we're talking lifelong crush here, since Sports Night, but objectively I can't say the same. It's all about Goode.

@kw, thanks!

@Princess, I feel the same way about Charles. Have loved since Knox Overstreet. But in this fight for me it's all about The Ace Of Bass, J. Dean Morgan. Had never paid him so much as a sliver of mind before this season of TGW but then was like ohhhhhhhh I GET IT NOW.

I had forgotten just how impressive Nurse Hathaway's bone list was. Yowza. And you're not alone in the Eldard love. He's got a certain charm I've always enjoyed.

Couple that with J.Dean Morgan, and yeah...it's a win.

I simply cannot let actual dates/bones confirmed be a factor here. Despite my eternal love for JDM (dude's career survived ghost sex) and the fact that Ron Eldard ALWAYS gets a pass (just watch his hucklebuck in "True Love" and thank me later), Benson wins hands down for the following:

Sarah's not the only one who has Robert John Burke on a list, if you know what I'm saying.
Frank Pembleton is always 1,000 additional bonus points even when he's not playing Frank Pembleton.
Finally, I submit for consideration Lennie Briscoe. If a man gets me a cup of coffee while rattling off a few hard-boiled one-liners during any number of crossover episodes, I am his forever.

Cynthia WAS super-weepy. I even remember her hair irritating me at one point (I think ringlets were involved). But Mariska brought it for the character's final scene when she told Dr. Greene it was too late and he could go kick rocks.
