So I realized that we didn't have a thread for other things this cast does, which may become something of a big deal soon with Kat Graham's rumored future (past?) role on the horizon. Thus, here it is. Talk about Degrassi, Lost, Smallville, Everwood, Prison Break and all that good stuff coming up as well.

Nina Dobrev has been cast in the XXX sequel. She's been included in Vin Diesel's instagram pics on set.

Was on Xxx set the other day and say Nina, she's kept her patented bone straight hair and looks quite happy. She looks close with her castmates. Vin came in and gave everyone in the cast a hug, it looks like she's found a very soft place to land and she's also part of a franchise. Vin told everyone this was one of the bests casts you could ask for. I don't see her coming back to TVD anytime soon.

Haha, at first I wasn't sure if you were using XXX as a generic way to not reveal which set you were actually on and then I thought wait, or is that a reference to a porn set? It wasn't until I saw Vin Diesel's name that I realized you meant the XXX franchise.

So potentially another movie role for Nina coming up? Good for her! I don't think she'll be coming back to TVD now, maybe for the last episode of the series?

TVD was not Nina's first time playing a doppelganger of a supernatural creature's old girlfriend. Before TVD she was in the movie Never Cry Werewolf where her new neighbor is a werewolf and she looks exactly like the werewolf's girlfriend from 100 years ago.
