I've seen speculation from people who are familiar with it that it could be a symptom of Bailey's OCD rearing its ugly head again. Though, I hope not because that SL doesn't need to be revisited, really.

I wonder whether it's leading up to another health problem. After all, Bailey is practically the only doctor on the show who hasn't been on the operating table at least once. (Giving birth doesn't count.)
