ebk57 Sunday at 11:42 PM Share Sunday at 11:42 PM Sunday lineup starts 40 minutes late, so if your DVR only gives you a 30 minute window like mine does, you should record the next show. 1 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153294-s05e17-acceptance/#findComment-8646973

I've been doing that for 20 or so yrs now when Amazing Race used to come on Sunday's. Whenever there was a sporting event on I would record Amazing Race plus the show after and the show after that. I've been doing the same for The Equalizer and Watson, I record Watson then Equalizer then the 2 half hour local news. And what are the chances if The Equalizer Atlanta gets picked up that's where there gonna send the hacker kid too? agathapenny Monday at 03:11 PM Share Monday at 03:11 PM Delilah and her storylines continue to be the worst B-plots on T.V. So I guess the police captain is the new DA character? Reluctantly willing to look the other way when Robyn gets involved in cases? Harry mentoring young hacker was cute, but I wonder if there was something else going on that we're going to find out about later. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153294-s05e17-acceptance/#findComment-8647667
cameron Monday at 11:33 PM Share Monday at 11:33 PM Dee's dress for her prom was equal to anything I have seen for the Met Gala. Over the top for a high school senior. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153294-s05e17-acceptance/#findComment-8648064

Maybe that was the plan, but CBS passed on The Equalizer Atlanta spin-off. 3 hours ago, cameron said: Dee's dress for her prom was equal to anything I have seen for the Met Gala. I thought that Dee's dress was very nice, maybe a little too long in the back if she is going to be near people while they are trying to dance. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153294-s05e17-acceptance/#findComment-8648437
KWalkerInc 17 hours ago Share 17 hours ago I wondered why my recording was so long (it wasn't necessary because I'm on the West Coast, so it ended up recording the 11:00 news at the end, but I guess the DVR wanted to be sure). It is rather convenient that Robyn saved the captain's life just as she did the D.A.'s years ago--what good fortune that the captain happened to be called on for security at that event. I thought that Robyn was going to ask for leniency for Dante for the favor, not getting a ride to the prom. But I guess they needed to have the surprise (not) of the captain acting like nothing had happened and just telling Dante to file his report. I was surprised to see Kaos again, because they don't usually bring people back unless they're the big bad. Speaking of which, after they stopped the guy with the bomb, I totally forgot that he was just a hired gun and I wasn't expecting them to tie it to Salazar. I knew he was returning for the finale, but I thought we could wait until then to hear about him again. Yay, another episode with characters being held captive. But unlike the Chrismas episode, they'll probably have some cliffhanger or something and the show will get cancelled. (I don't know how many more episodes they can come up with, but I just want it to have a decent ending.) When Dee was upset about a potential long-distance relationship, I was amusing myself by saying that she doesn't know that Cam is actually already leading a double life in Los Angeles (because the actor has a regular role on All American, which is set there; he could be out of two jobs pretty soon and I will have basically nothing left to watch!). 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153294-s05e17-acceptance/#findComment-8648552
AnimeMania 14 hours ago Author Share 14 hours ago There was no reason for the Captain to be at the event unless she (and her officers) were there as security. Of course she or her officers could not react fast enough to assist in apprehending the bombing suspect (even after being given a "heads up" to the threat) and the Captain didn't appear to be armed, so she becomes a hostage. It might have been nice if the Captain saved herself and caught the bad guy, it would have saved Dante some paperwork. Robyn doesn't have to be everywhere and do everything by herself, it makes it more interesting when other people are capable as well. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153294-s05e17-acceptance/#findComment-8648586
andromeda331 45 minutes ago Share 45 minutes ago Taking the Captain hostage was as unnecessary as she being there. They really couldn't come up with another reason for her to not fire Dante and be okay with Robyn? Especially as pointed out by @KWalkerInc they already did it with D.A. There were better ways for that. It's not that I liked Cam and Dee talking about UCLA but it's better then him sulking and ruining Dee's prom, suddenly breaking up with her or something else stupid. I know it makes sense for a teenager to see that and be upset. But I'm tired of those storylines. Yeah she got into UCLA and didn't tell him. It doesn't mean anything. Maybe she doesn't want to go. Maybe she hasn't decided. Maybe she didn't want to talk about it on prom night. I did like the scenes with Robyn, Aunt Vi and Dee before the prom with her dress and the necklace. Dee looked beautiful. I liked Robyn seeing her going into prom and thinking about past memories with Dee. I think I'm more surprise that Dee wasn't embarrassed by her mom showing up at the prom even if she was outside not even a little. Sure her mom's awesome but what kid wants that? Even if she's cool she'd get teased by the other kids about that. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/153294-s05e17-acceptance/#findComment-8649123
