S05.E10: This Is Why We're Rivals

Looks like we're going into the finale. Shane FINALLY made it. My fear is that Josh is watching this and that he'll give the show three or five more shots.

Turbo leaves the game. He didn't kill anyone here. That's a good thing, right? I wouldn't have been too saddened if he had taken a swipe at Adam on the way out.

Honestly, I know Shane is a snotty bitch on a good day, but Adam shouldn't have stuck his nose into him bitching about Da'vonne. Coming from Adam, the whole thing felt disingenuous.

Today, we saw Da'vonne's daughter and Nicole's girlfriend. First of all, are we ever going to see Steve talking with a loved one? I'd settle for Jisela doing blatant fan service. Secondly, does Nicole's gal know about her romantic history? The lady is a paramedic, so I think she can take care of herself. I would want to know if she has to check under her bed and in the closet to make sure Laurel isn't lurking in wait.

*sigh* Adam & Steve tie to record for most elimination wins in a season. It sucks because I will always associate that with Sarah Greyson, and Adam was one of the forces on the Road Rules team that kept pushing her into the Gauntlet. It feels wrong for him to be on her level like that. I'm okay with Steve. He devised the "3-2-1" voting system that RR used, but he didn't make it to screw Sarah. I know he was dating someone at the time. I like to think that if he hadn't, he would've hooked up with Sarah, as opposed to her going to Theo. I get the appeal of Theo, but he is just so disappointing nowadays.

Don’t know why Nany was freaked out about getting into elimination.  They all voted for her and Turbo as they requested.  But even if they blocked them, it would have been two teams in elimination with stars so a star would have been freed up.

Anyways, Steve and Adam are the best overall, though they did relatively poorly on the daily challenge of transporting the rolls.

Maybe some gnarly stages will trip them up.  I don’t think All Star Finals have been as grueling as the regular Challenge Finals but with the heat and humidity, who knows what could happen?

I wonder if it was a general understanding between the cast and production that Nany and Turbo would have to go into elimination. At that point they may have run  out of dailies and just said that for the last elimination if two star holders went in, then the last team left without a star would get it by default.

I was really hoping that Nany and Turbo would win the daily. Frank likely would have tried to rally everyone to throw in Adam and Steve. Shane and Da'vonne would have probably voted Sam and Frank. Adam and Steve would have kept true to their word and maybe took a shot at Shane and Da'vonne. Don't know what Melissa and Nicole would have done.

I was not surprised in the least that Frank and Sam threw in Adam and Steve. Both two teams in the elimination would beat Frank and Sam in a final, and Adam and Steve have the best shot at beating them, so it was a smart game move. I just can't stand Frank though. This is Adam and Steve's final to lose.

I guess I'm rooting for Adam and Steve to win, and Frank and Sam to come in last, Shane and Da'vonne to come in second. The preview shows Frank crying so that' promising, but could be misleading.
