milkyaqua March 31 Share March 31 Thank goodness for Aunt Vi and telling Dee to get over herself because this is life. I'd love to see that conversation with her mom though. Speaking of Robyn, what demons will come from her conversation with Mr. Serial Killer? 4 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152681-s05e14-the-grave-digger/#findComment-8621961
Trini April 1 Author Share April 1 Eeeehhhhh.... This week Equalizer does Criminal Minds. I was not into it; I get enough of serial killers on The Hunting Party. And just so we're clear: this was a new criminal(s), and not someone we saw last season, right? Because I know there are episodes I've completely forgotten about! I kinda wanted to see Aunt Vi fake it through an Art History class more than watching Dee be mopey and make bad decisions. Fashion highlights: Robyn's floral shirt; and both of Aunt Vi's outfits, which weren't over the, top for a change. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152681-s05e14-the-grave-digger/#findComment-8622577
KWalkerInc April 1 Share April 1 I'm pretty sure that the Grave Digger was someone we hadn't seen before, so that's why they showed the flashback to Robyn and Mel catching him at the beginning. It was too creepy for me. I was relieved though that it was mostly psychologically creepy and didn't stay too gory the whole time, especially because I was trying to eat lunch. (It seems weird for me to watch the show when it's light out, but that's when I had time.) I was dumb enough to think that the prison psychiatrist who turned out to be writing a terrible book was the one working with the prisoner. Then I realized, of course the team would recognize he was creepy and suspect him, and he was cleared. I didn't care for the apparent foreshadowing of Robyn having to sacrifice someone close for the greater good or whatever, especially considering the show is probably cocky enough to end on a cliffhanger in a few episodes even though chances of renewal are quite shaky. (Though some say there's hope because it would have been cancelled by now otherwise--but not a good sign when the closing credits are rolling on Watson and they no longer even say "The Equalizer is next.") I liked Vi giving Dee a good talking-to about her behavior. I also liked that when Cam tried to take the blame for her actions, Vi saw right through it (even though she wasn't actually there to know how many times he and Tyrese tried to stop her, she still figured it out). 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152681-s05e14-the-grave-digger/#findComment-8622632
andromeda331 April 3 Share April 3 I'm glad Vi talked to Dee and got her off her pity party. She's right. That's life. I'm glad this was just a one episode and not a long arc of chasing the Grave digger. I like Robyn figuring out he wasn't the Grave Digger. The real one wasn't that smart either. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152681-s05e14-the-grave-digger/#findComment-8624768
