So Jamie was taken by a woman.  I was on the way to thinking that it was a man.

I like that it seems that Jamie has found his calling with M&A.

This episode made me cry in a lot of ways.  I was so glad that all of the now-grown children were reunited with their biological families.  Adam and Lawrence's reunion was particularly moving.

I did not see it coming that it would be the reporter who had helped out with the whole thing.  It sounded like she and her husband had good intentions behind what they did.  But why couldn't they have just let in the parents on what they were doing so they wouldn't have had to worry?  Even if their racket was illegal, the parents still would have known that their children were safe and being raised by someone protecting them.

Sir knows something else about Trent's father (who did not impress me).  I wonder what it is?

Speaking of Trent, with something this big going on involving him, you would think that Shaker would've been in this episode.

Good call to whomever called Heather representing Sir.

Zeke and Lacey finally kissed.  I do kind of like them as a couple.

Very good episode.

Honestly, this show is kind of stupid--it's glib and things happen too fast or too slow (cases get solved and people get found all in a day, all these kidnapped kids from last nite's episode still apparently live locally, etc but we still have no idea where Jamie has been or who took him and he's still not seen the rest of his family? it's infuriating) and the dialogue is often clunky and silly and Gabi and Margaret are both annoying AF and Gabi and Sir look the same age cuz they basically are but we're supposed to not notice.

But I cried my stupid eyes out when everyone was reuniting.

It reminds me of that old show Cold Case. It really wasn't that great of a series, but it literally never failed to make me cry when the dead folks got some closure and smiled gratefully from the void at the detectives.

Silly, manipulative, but effective.

I don't know if this one is going to get renewed, but despite all my criticisms, I want it to be. I enjoy MPG so much, even tho his being imprisoned, which he should be, stifles his character a lot. and if it gets  cancelled before we find out any more answers about Jamie, I will storm NBC headquarters.

Cold Case often made me cry, too! The ghost of the missing person, smiling and/or waving. A sense of closure that's often missing in real life (well, I guess they only got it after death).

I'm wondering if the reason Jamie hasn't asked to see his father and sisters and why Margaret hasn't suggested it is that they both know he's not the real Jamie? And they would realize it, so it would break the spell (and closure) for Margaret, like she can pretend for a bit longer that he was found and is OK and that it wasn't her fault that something happened to him. And, for "Jamie," that he can complete whatever mission he's there to do.

Also hope it gets renewed.

And glad Zeke and Lacey kissed.

This show is SO WEIRD with the pacing of its ongoing plots. The accomplice/Christian arcs just kind of fizzled out, and I thought the 7 missing kids case would last longer.

Not to mention the contrived drawing out of this whole thing with Jamie. At the very least, don't they have to tell the police so they can close his missing person case?

And yes, I was also teary-eyed at the reunions.
