DollEyes September 24, 2014 Share September 24, 2014 (edited) When it works (which these days, isn't that often, IMO), Scandal has some great dialogue. One of the best examples was when Rowan Pope put Fitz 1000% on blast in "A Door Marked 'Exit,'" showing why it's Rowan Pope, not Olivia, who knows the real Fitz and why Joe Morton won this year's Best Guest Actor Emmy: Put your favorite choices for Scandal quotes here. You beat me to it, and I loved how Papa Pope flipped turned that script upside-down like the Fresh Prince on Fitz. Bravo for Joe Morton! Link to comment

That I'm the one that reaches you in places that he can't begin to touch" Jake to Olivia about Fitz. "It's 1976 down there." Mellie to Fitz. Link to comment

Joe Morton is one of our finest actors and when he does Eli Pope launching into one of his scathing soliloquies on any manner of subject it's like listening to a Shakesperian villian on a great stage. Just amazing stuff. Link to comment
