But boy, when Jason Isaacs, whom I love, first spoke, I thought he was doing an Australian accent. It always surprises me when English actors do lousy American accents. Parker Posey's southern accent is too OTT.

Thank you!  I too thought his character was Australian at first and it took another scene to realize that that was supposed to be a Carolina accent.  Posey's accent was also bad, so I wish they'd just not bothered.  Did they say where they were living currently?  Because none if the kids had accents, so I would assume they moved out if the Carolinas at some point.

I need Greg to get his comeuppance, big time.  I get that terrible people get away with terrible things on this show and that overall everyone's pretty terrible, but straight up murder is just a bridge to far for me.  Also, I wish the show hadn't decided that every season had to open with a death.  I just find it unnecessary as the identity if the victim is way less interesting than all the other plot threads.

I feel that they should have gotten an actress that wasn't in as good of shape as Carrie C.  Like someone along the lines of Melissa McCarthy or something because she looks just as good as the other two actresses, so that part of the scene didn't really work for me.

I really enjoyed the first season of this show but season 2 was a step down for me as I didn't care for the overall ominous tone that season had.  The first season was fairly light, with just two serious events towards the end.  Not sure how this season's going to go, though with that opening, probably more in the season 2 direction, but I do find these characters more interesting than the Italy crowd.

I don't think looks are what these women judge each other on. (They all indirectly admit to having work done on themselves.)  I think they judge each other on relationship status.  If you don't have a husband or boyfriend, you are somehow a lesser being.  Coonz' character has a messy divorce and no relationship on the horizon.  The other two do everything they can to keep their partners even tho it doesn't sound as if they are enjoying it, yet they consider themselves above their friend.
