chitowngirl December 30, 2024 Share December 30, 2024 When Bobbie tries to claim her rightful role as emcee for the Tavern's anniversary party, she ignites a fierce showdown with Gabby, who's determined to steal the spotlight; Isabella and Steve bet on who will come out on top, adding fuel to the fire. seacliffsal January 5 Share January 5 It seems to me that Emmett, Gabby, and Bobby carry the show and the writers haven't quite figured out what to do with the other three characters. They also still present Happy as a great guy without any questioning of why he never mentioned Isabella or why he never even met her. There was a line in this episode that Bobby and Gabby are funnier together than separate. I think that's key to this show, focus on them instead of trying to fit too many characters into the stories. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151263-s01e09-emcee-squared/#findComment-8546662
HyeChaps January 5 Share January 5 (edited) Still waiting for Reba to sing. (The group singing Rudolph doesn't count--nor does the theme song) Edited January 5 by HyeChaps Typo 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151263-s01e09-emcee-squared/#findComment-8546916
chediavolo January 7 Share January 7 I don’t know why I still have this in my recordings. What a waste of Reba & Melissa. I fast forward most of the show. The father sounds like a dick. The sister is an entitled little brat. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151263-s01e09-emcee-squared/#findComment-8548490
rcc January 7 Share January 7 Yes, Isabella is entitled and not funny. Everyone else in this show is funny and good actors. I don't understand why they cast her. 1 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151263-s01e09-emcee-squared/#findComment-8548871
