Hmmm, rookie Dexter makes another mistakes. First, the earrings. Then the floating arm with a unique ring. And now, he underestimates the strength and experience of his target. He needs to wipe every trace of his presence at Mad-Dog’s place. He doesn’t wear gloves during his first recon.

This situation with Mad Dog reminds me of what happened in season 2 when Little Chino broke free and escaped the kill room.

I understand this show needs to build up Harry’s narrative but there’s too much flashbacks involving Harry and Laura. And little Dexter being older than little Dexter in OG series has taken me out of this story. The thing with the lizards, is the show trying to imply that little Brian and little Dexter already have their Dark Passenger this early on? 🤔

Still don’t care about foul-mouthed Debra. Her storyline is going in circles. Yawn.

I think it showed Dexter trying to save the lizard and Brian pulling their tails off. Maybe he didn't have the Dark Passenger until after his mother is killed in front of him?

I think Brian is clearly a problem child but I also think that Dexter was trying to save the lizard. I think his dark passenger shows up after his mom dies.

With all the repeated information about Brian, I am more convinced that the guy in the pilot who asked about a seat at the diner was Brian.

With all the repeated information about Brian, I am more convinced that the guy in the pilot who asked about a seat at the diner was Brian. 

An interesting theory, but that creates IMO a timeline problem. It's 1991 in the show while OG Dexter S1 takes place in 2006 or thereabouts IIRC. If Brian had figured out who/where Dexter was in 1991 enough to deliberately approach him, what kept him from trying to reunite with him in the intervening 15 years?
