I just finished the first episode and wow it was really funny. The humor is very on point and the dialogue is so well-written. The funeral bits were so funny how the story kept unraveling and the opening scene was just perfect

The best friend looks like Shoshanna from Girls.

It is Zosia Mamet, aka Shoshanna from Girls. :)

I haven't gotten a chance to watch this yet, but was curious to see the reception before tuning in. I thought the premise seemed fun and I really like Stephanie Hsu, so I am glad to hear your initial impression was so good!

I was so shocked when I finally realized 🤣

About the series itself, I watched the whole thing yesterday. It was so good it was hard to stop once I started so I'd recommend it. It's funny but also compelling and the dialouge is very good.

Is anyone else having a hard time with the audio quality of the show? (And I don't mean the bank scene.)

I've watched the first 3 episodes.  Never seen the lead in anything before but she does impressions, seem to be pretty natural comic actress.

Funeral scenes were funny, with the photos of Ruby, the replacement Ruby and Ruby the dog.

The opening theme bothers me.  They took the title and the opening theme from the song by James.

But they hire some female vocalist to cover the song instead of using the original?

Maybe they were trying to save money on music rights but then in this episode they pretty much play a big chunk of Graceland.

The drum and the guitar parts sound exactly like they're from original single.  It's as if they just replaced the vocal, as if they didn't like the Mancunian accent of the James lead vocalist?
