iMonrey December 13 Share December 13 This isn't really a comedy. I enjoyed this for the most part, but I don't understand why they felt the need for the big coverup, or why they thought they would go to jail. As far as they knew, it was an accidental shooting. The daughter thought a burglar was breaking into the house and shot him. As horrible as that is, it isn't something that they should have felt the need to cover up. Maybe they were worried the police would realize Jacob was stealing from the neighbors, but still. They could have covered that part up and simply told the police his sister shot him by accident. The ending was bittersweet. The flickering light always got to me, from the first episode on. That part of the story was heartfelt, and anyone who has lost a loved one can probably relate. 3 Link to comment
twoods December 13 Share December 13 (edited) I agree. It was clearly an accident especially since he was wearing a ski mask, and why would they cover for him being the burglar since he was already dead? Oh wells, then we wouldn’t have had a show. I thought the show wrapped up very well. That last scene brought tears to my eyes. Edited December 14 by twoods 1 Link to comment
Bastet December 14 Share December 14 Once I started, I couldn't stop, so I binge watched the entire thing and will have to go back and re-watch so I can catch the details I missed, but I really liked this. I figured it was the daughter who'd done the shooting (from the beginning), but the way the son entered the house was like he was being chased, so I also knew something else had happened. When Margo just kept getting more and more evil, I figured she was the end game, and as soon as there was a second casing, I knew for sure. But it was still fun - and touching - getting there. 3 Link to comment
Corgi-ears 5 hours ago Share 5 hours ago (edited) So the villain, the duplicitous agent of chaos who is the threat to domesticity, is the "originally lower-class" gold-digging bisexual woman? Edited 5 hours ago by Corgi-ears Link to comment
