I decided the best way to enjoy this show is to figure out who gets the idiot ball in each episode. Congrats Michael, you're this week's winner! You have a little daughter for whom you presumably care a lot about yet you invite the guy who just told you that killed around 35 people (and you were present for some of those killings) back in your life. Runner-up is Helen who never wondered why a CIA agent would turn within three minutes and never opened that damn envelope Reed gave her.

This was the best episode so far.  Even with the super gun fighting skills (let's just point the gun up in the air, shoot, and yes! we've killed two bad guys!) and the absolutely not in a million years way Helen ran about the US Embassy, we learned more about these characters in this episode than we have all season.  And, as @Hanahope pointed out, we know Reed cannot be trusted, so Helen and Sam are on their own at this point.

We also know the new assistant is up to something, probably an internal mole or an advance replacement for Helen placed there by Reed.  I think it's funny how Helen seems to be more jealous of her than suspicious.

I liked the CIA guy.  Very practical.  I agree it was stupid for Helen to not have looked in the envelope, either before giving it to him or even after.  This was my problem from the first episode - supposedly smart people doing stupid things.

Is this a limited series, or are they hoping for a Season 2?  If it's a limited series, I can see this ending with Helen turning herself in and getting immunity in exchange for taking down the Black Doves operation.  If there's an expected Season 2, I can see her just about doing that, but then pulling back because of some complicated spy thing that has to be solved next season.
