Interesting show. I was yelling at the idiots who passed up guaranteed money in order to possibly make it to the end. And at those sacrificing themselves for people they don't even know.

Agree with both points.   There are 1,000 people to start.  The odds of winning are minuscule.   Take the money!   And sacrificing yourself is only sensible if it comes with $$$ or you are keeping your spouse safe.

I'm only three episodes in but was flabbergasted that these four captains elected not to take ONE MILLION DOLLARS for the "greater good."  These people are strangers to you, and 99% of them aren't going to win anything anyway!  What about your family and your kids you could have helped with that kind of money, and how do you explain yourselves now after the show aired? "Yes, we could have gotten out of this crappy apartment and bought a nice house, yes you could have gone to any college you wanted, but it was for the GREATER GOOD!"

Good grief!

The guy that took the $650,000: I could maybe see taking his actual 'debt' for surrogacy, etc, but to also take enough to pay off your mortgage? dude, no one put a gun to your head and made you but a half a million dollar house.  you pay that over time, not through an unearned windfall at the expense of others. that's where i lost all sympathy for him.

The final episode came out today.  Wow, great episode, but the ending challenge didn't stretch out for a long time like we expected.

The third place finisher was smart to take that million and have a sure thing instead of taking a chance.  Glad the second place finisher was given a consolation prize.  Congrats to the winner.

The second challenge was completely disappointing.  947 was so caught up in getting the pattern right - which she nailed - that she neglected to check where the first square was located in the first row.

I find it interesting that the final two were one number apart.  The odds of the final two players having sequential numbers is 500-1.

I could tell the way they dragged out the suitcases finale that it would be solved on the first try.  Someone is good at reading poker faces.
