Speaking of that, how come Robyn and Kody snatched her portion up for themselves? Wasn't that part of the "shared family assets"? Kody told them it was "shared family assets", but in reality the parcel only belonged to those named on the deed. Kody took the cheap, lawyer-free option of having Christine file a quit-claim taking her name off the deed for a small price. In many places this can be done at the land titles office. For Janelle & Meri to legally get their fair shares, their names would have had to be added to all of the deeds. Janelle had wanted that for all four parcels when they bought them, but Kody said no and she didn't push him on it. So now Janelle & Meri are at the mercy of Kody's benevolence, though Janelle does legally have title to ~1/4 of the 14 acres as things stand, so Meri is the one being screwed. Absolom December 15, 2024 Share December 15, 2024 So my summary of the episode that I finally watched is Kody is a jerk, Kody is a jerk, Kody is a selfish jerk, and Kody is a whiny jerk. He would so cheat the wives who left him out of every dime of Coyote Pass if he thought he had prayer of sneaking it by them. 6 6 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/150892-s19e12-put-your-house-in-order/page/3/#findComment-8533335
