I figure it'll become very ugly after PK watches Dorit tell the world he's an alcoholic who doesn't come home.

I also found it interesting that when MO asked PK what happened, PK responded,  "I got sober". Maybe sober PK couldn't be around Dorit, especially if she's still drinking?

I tend to agree with you.  I think the reason we don't know more about what caused their split was to protect their children, they both strike me as being very good, loving parents.
