I'm in Canada, and this episode was briefly available on demand last week (labeled as "The Man from Grozny"). My tv provider took it down the next day.

Unfortunately, neither Citytv nor my tv provider have made "The Man from Grozny" available yet, so watching this episode spoiled some things.

I truly love this show. It gets one thinking. I’m not a medical person but have/had enough medical bs (yeah, my technical term) in my life that I appreciate so many things shown on Brilliant Minds.   I’ve finally watched Roman/John Doe’s story and am trying to formulate the many emotions going through me still.

Regarding June and her journey I am mixed. I love that she is living her life and enjoying it fully at her age but personally my sappy side says ‘my sons come first’.  Is that right or wrong?  I don’t know.  If grandchildren are involved, I’d live to hug and love them and teach them whatever I could and then hug them some more.

I can’t imagine that that wouldn’t fulfill me.

So again, right or wrong?  I don’t know.

What am I missing?  Not thinking of?  I’d love to read what everyone thinks.

Oh — love that it was Van and not Jacob.   Not sure what I think about doctor’s ex-husband’s ‘girl’ situation but I’m sure there is more to come on both storylines.

I saw Susan Bay Nimoy in the opening credits and wondering if she was Leonard Nimoy's widow. I don't know how everyone else feels, but I don't think she's a very good actress.

However, I found her story interesting. I think it was a good decision to allow her her sexuality and "twinkle" rather than subdue her into a typical, traditional grandmother. I didn't catch everything Oliver said, but I think she would be on medication that wouldn't stifle her sexual drive, but would in some way control it? Maybe someone else can clarify this.

I don't get what's going on with the psychiatrist and her patient. If I were the doctor, I would have insisted that I couldn't treat her any more. I would probably even be upfront with her and say that I knew she had had an affair with my husband.

As for ... (checking characters' names) ... Ericka and her choice of Van, I'm confused. She was always looking at Jacob and seemed infatuated with him. What happened?

I don't see why she can't hug, teach, and love her grandchildren and also explore her sexuality. She can't be around her sons and grandchildren 24/7.

I felt like she was using him a little bit and it is not going to end well. He seems to have stronger feelings than she does.

@KaveDweller  That is so true.  I was under the impression that June was behaving uncontrollably for the most part.  Maybe I misunderstood. It could have been that the sons were getting reports of her behavior and not witnessing her behavior.
