Seth had his only authentic moment when he said during his talking head that Meredith has high expectations and he can’t ever meet them.  She gave it away when she said it didn’t add up. Seth looks half drunk or high all the time, so I don’t think it’s cheating. I think he just wants to use or drink without being nagged about it and he can when on the road for work.

I see a red flag. Seth is either drunk or cheating on Meredith. His voice sounds slurred and he looks out of it. He is away on “business” a lot which is the kiss of death for a lot of couples on these shows. Isn’t that why they “grew apart” the first time, because he was frequently absent?

Lisa had larger implants.

I also noticed her boobs looked much bigger!

I kind of like Brownwyn. She does seem scared of Todd though.

I don’t like how Justin is being criticized for how he talked to “a woman.” These women can’t have it both ways. They want to be treated equally  to men. Well then don’t ask for special treatment. Lisa shouldn’t have gotten in Justin’s face shouting. She was obnoxious, drunk and aggressive. I don’t blame Justin for how he acted.

This 100%!  Justin did absolutely nothing wrong. Lisa was the aggressive one.

Seth's college degree is in Sociology, not in Business, so he doesn’t have the basic knowledge. I guess he eventually learned on the job (?).

He mentioned on the show he was working in Ohio and Mississippi. He is working in Ohio again.

My brother didn’t get a college degree but he worked his way up the ladder to become a regional manager at Lowe’s.

Seth is 52, so he graduated college in the 90s when it was still possible to get a job in the business world without necessarily having a business degree. I graduated in 2000 and knew someone who was a Government and Physics double major (weird combo, I know!) who got a job as a financial analyst at JP Morgan. I also knew someone who graduated with a degree in civil engineering but got a job as a management consultant at Accenture (back when it was still called Anderson Consulting).

Mary was spending the weekend with her son?  Doesn’t she spend every weekend with him since he lives with her and has no job? Maybe she was scared of leaving him alone in her house. Or maybe Mary just wasn’t in the mood.

I want to give Mary a pass on this (if on nothing else) because she may be terrified that if she leaves him alone for any extended period of time, he’ll OD.

Mary needs Alanon, she probably would do herself a favor if she doesn't look in the trash can for evidence, it will be there. She needs to take care of herself and detach with love, tell that kid he can't stay there if he is using, it is the toughest thing to do but that kid needs consequences, his life is great, she gives him money, he has a nice place to hang out, does whatever he wants nothing is expected of him...I could go on but she should grow a pair, get tough and go to Alanon, nothing will change until she does.

Those tuxedoed people at Mary's event made me laugh, my guess is that they were church members she wrangled into service, they were sent to the tux rental place and set loose in her house to look like footman and butlers.

I thought Bronwyn looked a lot like Audrey Hepburn from the movie Funny Face.

 I'm not loving Bronwyn.

Add me to the Not Loving Bronwyn Train! Partly, this isn’t her fault. I’m sure she has some great qualities. She seems to be a caring mom, for instance! She just happens to be a specific personality type that just grates on me. I’m also admittedly biased against new HWs who engage in drama straight out of the gate.

That said, I think she’s a solid RHW and a great addition to this cast.

Oh, I’m sure you’re right that this would be the “right” thing to do in Mary’s case. I just can’t imagine what I’d do in her position— worried that if I did set some consequences with my kid he’d leave and die on the streets. I just can’t bring myself to critique her for how she’s dealing with this. Especially when there’s so much else to critique! Like…everything else about Mary. And Bronwyn’s Poo House. And Whitney’s hilling. And Lisa’s love of canned food. And Britani.

Same. I don't want to judge Mary about this. I don't blame her for being scared and wanting to keep an eye on her child. A friend of mine had an overdose. She was older than Mary's son, and everyone still wonders if she would have been okay if she lived with her parents. Parents can't control what adult children do, but they are at least going to be more protective and quickly dial 911 if necessary. My heart really goes out to Mary. I wouldn't wish the fears she must have on my worst enemy.

Not sure if Bronwyn and Todd’s marriage could end up being a casualty of this show.  😕

It’s why I wonder if Bronwyn will be back next season.  She already sees that she hasn’t been accepted by the hags and it is causing friction with Todd.  Depends on how much she thinks the show is worth the apparent aggravation.  Were I her, no, it’s NOT worth it.

I agree.  If anything perhaps her watching some of the episodes play back can show her a bit more clearly how she is treated by Todd.  It’s up to her what she wants to do with that of course.
