I admit that I wasn't really paying attention to the case of the week.

Having Harry out in the field more is an interesting change. I hate that Dante is off away from everyone, and not having much to do; but I did appreciate that they didn't forget about his boys.

New love interest for Aunt Vi? Could be interesting. With Mel taking a break from equalizing, maybe she can get a subplot with Vi sometime?

No real fashion highlights for me; although I did like Robyn and Harry's outfits.

I stopped watching Hawaii 5-0 because I'm not okay with torturing suspects, and I'm getting very close to how much I can handwave the same thing on this show. Robyn decided the one guy was her perp, and beat him bloody, tortured himn, and then when he wasn't actually the person she was looking for, she just drops it.

Vi's defense of Robyn in this very same episode (at the community policeing meeting) seems to me to be saying that the showrunners think torturing people is a great idea and who cares? Well.. I care.

I was expecting some follow up on Vi's breast lump.

Oh, forgot a nitpick: apparently there is only one place for custom makeup -- in NYC of all places! LOL

I know it's not the first time they've done something like this, but that scene did seem a bit out of character for the show.

I forgot about the ex-husband. I'm happy for her to have a love interest. And that he knew she made the pastries. While it was nice the other lady told Aunt Vi he was interested her it but you don't claim someone else's pastries lady.

It was great to see Harry out in the field. I'm also happy that Mel is finding a way to work through her trauma.

It was fun seeing Harry out in the field and going undercover.  However, his singing, if that was really him (sounded like he was singing along to a prerecorded track of him singing), was truly awful.

I liked the Aunt Vi storyline.  Hope they follow up with this Captain.  I liked the Dee and her boyfriend are "official".  Liked that Robyn cut her hair as well, now all three of them have similar curls.

What I didn't like:

No mention of Aunt Vi's breast exam results, or even any indication that she sat down and talked with Robyn about it.

Dante.  I liked him in the previous seasons, but him being in L.A. just doesn't work for me.  The entire show grinds to a halt whenever his face appears onscreen.  I couldn't care less what he is doing out there or how difficult it is for him.  Typically when shows send characters to some remote place for work, it means the actor/character is getting written off the show.  So why send Dante to L.A. and try to keep him on the show?

Mel's trauma.  How long is she going to be doing yoga and cleaning the bar and looking at the gun?  It's getting old.
